I'll ask a The Summer I Turned Pretty question. Is it really the worst show you've ever seen? Worse than Legacies? Or Roswell New Mexico? Come on.

Yes. I meant that. Those shows were bad, but they had some people capable of acting, and to be honest, I think quite a few of those actors, particularly in NM would have been fine with a better script. THIS? Is fucking garbage. No one is even attractive. The script is shit, the acting is shit, the shot direction is shit, the costuming is shit, the directing is shit. It's trash the whole way through with not even a slight redeeming quality. Both those shows at least had respectable shot directing. They were just unfortunately written by dodos.

I just want to be clear, that previous ask wasn't an invitation to start asking me TSITP questions. I hate that show and I think everyone who watches it is partly to blame for the abysmal state of television currently and needs to get better taste.

Hahaha I am impressed at how you guys took that to heart. I'm grateful though because it's the worst show I've ever laid my eyes on and I don't think it deserves even 1% of the discourse or memes or anything I've seen so far.

I'm down to do reviews, they're usually at least fun, depending on the show. I'm given to understand the main barrier to us doing them anymore is ridiculously rigid copyright restrictions on vimeo/youtube and then here's a time limit on tumblr, but I just heard of freetube, so maybe if we use that instead, they won't get taken down so quickly. We'll see!

Okay so I only got through 2 episodes before I lost total interest because this show sucks so I didn't see the Wednesday/Tyler thing. I honestly don't even remember them together so, I have no opinions about that. I am frustrated with Bianca's husky contacts, and also frumpy uniform? Wednesday's roommate gets this cinched to the gods, tailored uniform that flatters her shape, and Bianca gets a huge blazer, massive pants and frumpy shoes? K. God forbid a monoracial darkskin young Black woman be attractive. I'm also not sure I understand what's going on with her and this obviously evil principal. Why does he basically own Bianca? I'm not even going to GET INTO the slavery of it all. But yeah...so far...not thrilled with anything happening in this show so far.
