This might be my very favourite Bergman film. There is such a deep sense of vulnerabilty in this: from Bergman in the script and direction, but especially from Börje Ahlstedt in the lead role.

An absolute master class in filmmaking!!
Is this documentary about twice as long as the film ("Autumn Sonata") itself? Yes.
Is it worth every minute of watching? Absolutely!!
