I’d like to take some time to explain what this Widowmaker portrayal is all about.

Currently, this Widowmaker follows most canon ideas provided by Blizzard. Many headcanons are sprinkled in by the writer to provide a more fleshed out character. Please be patient with the spider, especially if she is known to have bad history with your character.

Here are some headcanons I currently have for my Widowmaker:

She avoids her real name. Please do not call her Amélie or she will become very unforgiving.

Call her Widow. Feel free to give her any appropriate nickname(s) of your choosing as well.

If you ask her what her name is she will probably reply with Widow, fuck off, or possibly Danielle (see theory below for the name Danielle)

Widow still enjoys ballet.

Due to her past endeavors with ballet, she is frightfully flexible.

She also enjoys expensive jewelry and clothing.

Having her whole life laid out for her as an assassin for Talon, she finds the things mentioned above as an ‘escape’’.

The only people allowed to refer to her as Amélie Lacroix (or Guillard) are her Talon comrades.

She has taken residence at her family’s ancestral home: Château Guillard.

She frequently uses nicknames for others.

French will be sprinkled here and there in her words, regardless if the person she is talking to understands or not.

Red Wine only.

Regarding emotions, she has a major sense of deja vu with them. She has felt them before, but she can no longer reach that state of feeling them once more. Only the memory of feelings remain.

However, her neural reconditioning is slowly wearing off/was not strong enough to fully repress memories or feelings altogether.

She visits Gérard’s grave often.

As for the theory involving the boarding pass found at Château Guillard, I strongly believe that Danielle Guillard is the fake alias she takes on since Amélie Lacroix is most likely presumed dead or a wanted fugitive (considering she is apart of Talon).
