NEW POKEMON NEWS! In today’s Nintendo Direct we got some new information about the upcoming games X and Y!

There will be a service called Pokemon Bank that allows you to store 3000 Pokemon online  in the cloud. It will have a search system built in so you can find the exact Pokemon you want as fast as possible. Because this service takes maintenance to keep it running there will be a yearly fee of 500 yen which is approximately 5 US dollars. 

There will be a feature  in Pokemon Bank that allows you to transfer all of your Pokemon from Black and White or Black 2 and White 2 to your Pokemon Bank. This will presumably be much faster and convenient than previous generations and is a relief for those worried about the DS to 3DS jump!

Just like the Pokebeach rumors said, you will get one of the 3 starters from Gen 1 from the professor. Your Gen 6 starter is received from one of your friends in the beginning of the game.

All 3 of the Gen 1 starters will have mega evolution’s. 

 Mega Charizard is Fire/Flying (Seriously Game Freak? You had ONE job!) and his ability is Drought

Mega Blastoise is Water and its ability is Mega Launcher. Not everything is known about this ability but we do know it increases Water pulse and Dark Pulse.

Mega Venasaur is Grass/Poison and its ability is Thick fat.

They will be releasing a Blue and a Red 3DS XL bundle outside of Japan. It will be available the 27th allegedly which puts it 15 days before the games would normally be released!
