"Who said I'm throwing my life?" He perked a brow in interest. Their family was messed up. Compared to their other siblings, Isaac and Jacob was more or less normal. He watched the world the same way the other Gods did. Understood more of the mortal life then his own back in Asgard. "I have people who have my back. There's no problem about that. Plus I only have one guilt, everything else is like the wind, passing through." That was true. It's a preference to live without a care. Isaac is just able to meddle into things without leaving much behind. "She crept up on you, not a good choice of words considering her profession." He rubbed the back of his head, unsure how to explain the next part. "Well... I'm sure she would've done the same to keep you from her family. It's a mutual feeling. But you didn't and she didn't, now you both have a kid... Plus splitting up and in this world there is such a thing as custody battles and child support. I highly doubt S.H.I.E.L.D would allow you to keep Emmett. Odin wouldn't even let you have the child. Either way, both parties would want to harness his abilities." His tone was nonchalant. As if he was explaining what was already known, like in infomercials.

"I wish I could've been more involved with you when you were a child. Maybe then you wouldn't exactly be ashamed of turning into a smurf. Could've done more things with you like the other kids did with their siblings." He sighed. "Indira and I... We never got along. If I would've known that things were going sour, I would've stayed and stopped you from going back. But then again... If you two were arguing infront of me, there's a chance that I would've turned blue and then everything would get blown out of proportion." Isaac chuckled, "I'm trying to be a good brother."

The truth was out. Just how long Isaac had planned on keeping it from Jacob, no idea. But now he knew and that was important. "You're my baby brother. Since the first day I met you, you became my responsibility. And I remember that say clearly." He sunk back down into the cushions of the couch. Slow deep breaths to calm himself. "Father came in with a squishy, weird looking child. He told me we were brothers. That meant that we would have each others back and as your elder... It would be my job to protect you. We were kept separate but I took those words to heart and watched you from afar. Stepped in and took a couple bashings because you are my stupid little brother who thought no one noticed you sneaking out all the time." He managed to change the tone of his voice from anger to sincerity. "I left Asgard when I was sixteen but Heimdal assured me that he would keep me informed on how my brother was doing."

What was the point behind his story? He was thinking that Jacob would finally understand their position in this. How every move is crucial. "I was stupid. Got involved with a group of mortals. Walked around with a nasty scar on the side of my face cause I told a woman she couldn't best a man in combat- without my magic. Thought I was living the good life for the longest time. Then I was told about your heart break and I couldn't be there. I had to watch you from a distance lest Odin harm us both."  Isaac signed and motioned for Jacob to sit back down. "I didn't know things between you two has gotten worse until I saw Emmett running around. At first I thought it was just an illusion of you as a child. I didn't know why you decided to come back to Asgard. Started thinking that maybe he died and you came back to get away from that grief. Maybe to raise him where his magic and Jotun can be controlled. The girls told Indira of your return and we shared of few words. I wasn't going to allow you to fall back into that trap. I would've come to see you myself if I didn't have an audience with Grandfather.. Not a pretty one at that." He looked apologetically at his brother. "Imagine what he would do if he found that your son is more than what Frigga has told him. More than mortal. More lethal. You would be punished for this. She would be punished, surely. And just how did you manage to hide the fact that she was a mortal in Asgard? Jacob, I am just baffled over what has happened in over a short period of time. You're going to end up hurt, there's no way to prevent the inevitable."

He felt like he was lecturing his brother. Like there was suppose to be some sort of life lesson in his story. When... There wasn't. He was just trying to clear the air. "My life isn't ruined. I do enjoy causing a little mischief every now and then. It's not wrong for a brother to want his little brother to live the life that's not allowed where we're from. I just wish you didn't get involved with mortals when there are so many gods and goddesses on midgard.."

He sighed heavily. "Look. I get it. You're not happy to see your brother." The gap between them was even bigger than before. All because to Isaac, freedom wasn't his. He had to keep moving. In his mind he was protecting his brother, keeping eyes on him so Odin wouldn't worry about Jacob. "If you're not careful that will be arranged and not by me. I'm not using her against you Jacob. Idiot." Isaac shook his head in disbelief. "I do know how you feel and I've seen you hurt before. I don't want that to happen again. Oh little brother, don't worry, if you leave I'll stand by and watch the bitch return where she rightfully belongs." His anger was rising. "You know. I tell you that you have the perfect life when in truth we aren't suppose to get involved with mortals. They live, they die. We only watch them and for some it's turned into a sport. Yet you chose to get involved. You're not Thor, Jacob! I can't protect you from our Grandfather forever, he doesn't want a happy life for us. He only looks to make us suffer. I've been making an ass of myself towards him, been thrown in fucking prison after prison only to have Frigga release me." He leaned over, grabbing Jacob by his shirt collar. "I'm doing this for you, asshole! So you can live a happy fucking life with that... That thing. And now I'm taking it since it seems like you have no wedding plans, how easy would it be to go back to Asgard and be with her. Tell me I'm wrong. I dare you."

Nothing could stop him from being serious at this point. Jacob was his younger brother, part of him knew there was a reason why."It is my business. You're my little brother and I was unable to be there for you when we were younger. I don't want to see you end up back there again." There was a slight anger in his tone of voice. But he had to calm himself or else he's lose it and turn blue. "Are you sure it wasn't to see her?" It didn't need to be said. At least, he felt like he didn't need to mention her name. Just the thought made him look around, just incase any one else was around listening. Anyone that could get upset with them. "I'm not judging or anything but... Look. Jacob. You got it pretty good here. A normal life. You're basically free. You got a kid who looks up to you." Isaac rubbed the back of his neck. He wasn't good at this. "If you aren't happy with things... You need to speak up. Going back to Asgard should be your last resort if shit hits the fan. I mean... If something happens and you feel like you can't take it anymore or just need some time to breathe, the lock on my door is magic. You're welcome to stay at my place anytime. Just... I don't want anything to happen to you, brother."

"Hello brother." Isaac grabbed Jacobs shoulder roughly, shaking him playfully as he did. "You should really learn to lock that front door, man. There's creeps out there that would love to just break in and take everything you love." He moved to the other side of the couch. "So as you know... I was off on a little adventure through the realms. Brought back some great stuff for the little guy. To, uh, help him when he gets older to control his magic and stuff. And well.. Ya know. I was in Asgard when I saw this little scene on the Bifrost. I thought I was just seeing things from my lack of sleep but I really couldn't mistake my brother for anyone else." He tone grew more serious as he faced his brother. "What were you doing in Asgard, Jacob?"

"It's nice to see you too," Isaac spoke sarcastically as he flipped the page of the book in his lap, "You know my brother could be a great author one day. So much angst and lust all mixed together."

He gave her a toothy grin. Okay so maybe it wasn't smart of him to just magically unlock their door and let himself in but either way he would enter one way or another. "That's right. You won't because my brother means the world and the universe to you. That kind of thinking is something that gets men killed. And for the record, I did see him." He paused. "In Asgard, with you. We aren't allowed interaction there. Frightens and upsets Odin. He believes we will plot to overthrow him. Just what were you doing in Asgard, Charlotte? It's no place for a mortal. I'm surprised Odin didn't take notice. Even though Thor and Mother have made it pretty big there- but we are not the children of that golden child. Jacob could've gotten in a lot of trouble and I would've severely hurt you if anything were to happen to him." He was serious, for once. Isaac really did care for his brother. He regretted not being able to be there for him when they were children. "You can lecture me all you want but you abandon your family on a daily basis. They never know when you're coming home or if you're even okay. Heimdall watches you on a special request. I'm trying to be a better brother. I've seen Jacob hurt over a woman before." He moved from the couch and to her, leaving barely a few inches between them. "And I'll be damned if I let you do the same to him."

So... How about that talk? [Charlotte and Isaac]

"I don’t care if you’re going to be my brother in law or some shit like that, you can’t just let yourself into our place. Even with magic it’s illegal and I have every right to arrest you." Charlotte wasn’t too happy to see Isaac. He’s been a no show for a while, which really peeved Charlotte off cause he was suppose to be the closest to Jacob. "But I won’t because I don’t want to upset Jacob with the news that his idiot brother is sitting in detainment for breaking and entering. You’ve been gone for how long? You know your brother really needed you when shit hit the fan and you were off touring the realms."

"Then you decide to come back and send me a text saying we have to talk. You know I hate you for multiple reasons, one being you’re a monster." She refused to move from the door way. She didn’t care being close to him. "But don’t you think you need to go see your brother. Explain why you’ve been absent. Think about it Isaac. You two really only have each other to rely on. And what about your nephew? Do you even know that he’s walking and putting together words now? Really missing out on your family after you said you would try to be a better person. You said that years ago and here we are and you still haven’t changed. Aren’t you tired of this lifestyle?”

"If anyone tried to break into my home we both know I'm more adept with magic than you. Plus I embrace my Jotun, which seems to get me out of a lot of sticky situations." He picked up the bottle from the table, shook it, and sighed deeply. "Grab another bottle from my collection in the kitchen?"
