"please don’t let them see me". viktor hiding himself as he walks in the streets of zaun and using jayce’s blanket as a hood. jayce being the only one who truly sees him as he is and accepts him wholly. jayce shielding viktor from the violence and sadness of zaun because his love and acceptance is enough to keep viktor safe. or whatever

even though jayce never calls any man "man" in the show i cant help but hear him calling viktor that in the show. like Hey it’s okay man. you’re good man. we got this man. it’s probably because the thought of jayce (6´2 muscled beefy guy) called viktor (5’8 lanky skinny guy) is so funny n sort of cute to me. like ok youre two heads shorter than me but i’ll still call you Man because you’re my brother and friendship is forever (i actually want you but i cant admit it to myself)

viktor having parallels with powder and jayce having parallels with jinx is so heartbreaking bc u follow that path, it means that jayce is the man that viktor wants and wished he grew up to be. just like powder had to grow into jinx after her traumas and became maybe The scariest criminal in piltover, viktor wishes he grew into jayce who is The most liked and renowned man in piltover. jayce is who viktor could have become if he was given the support he needed, social like medical like financial like emotional. jayce is everything viktor wished he could be because jayce is strong and viktor is not

i can’t stop thinking about how scared jayce must have been coming back into the social world after being isolated and left for dead in that cave for six months. SIX MONTHS. studies show that being isolated for long periods of time causes damage in the brain’s matter and that it deeply affects social interactions, decision making and personality traits. it can trigger psychosis and cause STROKES. he was so damaged and hurt inside … he must have had so much trouble talking to people again and choosing what clothes to wear and listening to music or walking out in the populated streets. so much noise and light sensitivity from being in the silent dark all alone for so long. i just saw som1 on twt pointing out that when he ordered "quiet" in that one scene to an already Mostly quiet room it could have been caused by how loud people whispering must be to him. it probably took him weeks to sleep in a soft bed with a soft pillow again. the fact that viktor said "it was affection that held us together" is sooo important. he didn’t say friendship. he didn’t say science or work. he said AFFECTION. affection is only felt between really close friends (re to jayce calling him his best friend two lines later) and lovers. while jayce is the 1 who expresses his love, platonic or not, for viktor the most, viktor is the one to describe their link as "affection" which is so meaningful coming from him. he may not show it but he holds affection for jayce, and he knows jayce holds affection for him too. they make me sick!!!!!
