I want to acknowledge how fucking grateful I am to our queer shipper deity David Jenkins and co for giving us the second kiss. Knowing that the path back to full, consuming commitment would be a slow one, it would have been easy to just do the hand-holding or an attempted kiss and delay the actual kiss further but they didn't. They gave us what we wanted needed and I'm ecstatic. Giddily happy. There's a journey for them but I love that this was no tentative peck, this was Stede so fucking ready and wanting more, and showing Ed he wanted more, so as to leave no doubt that he was all in with heart, body and soul.

I love this show so much, to my wretched shipper core.
