Agent Carter Sentence ‘Starters’

{♈} - Jeanette or ‘Jenny’  was in the middle of finishing up the latest chapter of the Alliance issued novel ‘Ascension’ when the unthinkable happened. First she’s alone, boredly blinking the sleep out of her eyes while an uninterested brain scans over words and loses them. Then she’s one of two and staring at her older short haired twin whose once matching red hair has been bleached a permanent white. 

“How did you get that stuff on the base?” Jenny questions, her green eyes large and voice mixed somewhere in between petrified and excitement. The novel has been tossed aside as she goes to make room for her sister on the standard military sized cot, all the while glancing over her shoulder in case one of the other trainee adepts decides they’ve suddenly forgotten something. 

Together the two share a secret glance and without another word Jenny throws herself into nearly empty foot locker in search of her pocket switch army knife that’s never actually in her pocket. 

“How? You’re good. But you’re not that good.”Jenny wonders and throws herself back onto the ‘scratchy’  cot that whines under her weight. “Give me that..Ugh gross. Who willingly drinks root beer  schnapps?” Apparently now they did.
