yeah! they help sort of tell you when another season starts, but also they’re scary and some of them are mean. like deerclops!

he does! so do the other giants. deerclops comes in the winter, bearger comes in the autumn, dragonfly comes in the summer, and moose comes in the spring! or, goose? moose goose. wilson told us so!

yeah, deerclops! there’s this really big deer that walks on his hind legs and he’s got one big eye, and he comes around every winter to break things. we’re okay, though!

we’ve been fine! our camp’s gotten bigger and we haven’t had to hide from many things anymore, but the deerclops stomped through and shook everything up, so we’re in a nest for the night now.
