iiii haven’t had the hugest motivation to be on ed . . . and that’s on me  ,  no excuses  .  i’m not really sure what to do with ed  ,  because i do like him as a muse and he’s very interesting  (  with my takes on him  ,  at least . . . )  ,  but ugh  ,  interactions who  ??

i might put him on my multi instead and make him a private muse for people that do want to write with him . . . maybe . . . unless i manage to get the ball rolling somehow  .

            ed used to wonder what his parents looked like . . . he’d pester his grandfather constantly when he was younger  ,  often asking about his mother more than his father  .  his grandfather never kept photos  (  and if he did  ,  he hid them VERY well from ed  )  .  even as he was leaving the plot of land where his grandfather had his laundromat  ,  ed hasn’t found a single photograph of his mother or his parents . . . that curiosity died a lot time ago  .  but he does find himself wondering sometimes  ,  what if he comes across his mother one day  ??  what will that interaction be like  ??

            miscreant . . . that’s the first time he’s heard anyone call glenn that  .  listening to the other’s words  ,  he hums in response  ,  “  yeah  ,  ”  ed replies simply  ,  assuming the  ‘  day  job  ’  meant the pornography company  .  hard to say he didn’t when he worked for mcqueen entertainment  .  “  how did you know him  ??  ”  probably not from the said day job  ,  if ed was guessing  .

            ed probably started smoking around the time his grandfather passed  ;  having lost his only family member  ,  he resorted to bad HABITS he picked up from his grandfather  (  smoking being one of them  )  .  though the brand his grandfather smoked was different from the camel brand ed favored  ,  it seemed bad habits reminded him of his grandfather  (  and soon  ,  his loneliness  )  . . .             ed had grown up in the western world  ,  but in a place where asian tradition was rather prevalent  .  where people don’t normally MOURN for 49 days . . . ed and some of his grandfather’s friends did  .  it was in those 49 days that ed picked up the habit and would  ‘  share  ’  a cigarette with his late grandfather  .             while he and his grandfather didn’t seem to be CLOSE  ,  ed held and revered the man that raised him  .  affection and kind words were hard to come by but ed understood  ;  even if he played someone’s dead grandson for several years  .  he was close with his grandfather in ways people wouldn’t understand  ,  and he still visits the man’s grave  ,  leaves a cigarette and a good bottle of alcohol whenever he does  .

            ed hasn’t properly celebrated his birthday since his grandfather’s passing  .  rather  ,  he couldn’t really say he celebrated any birthdays  ;  it was more of just a simple cake and a song  ,  that was about it  .  he never complained though  ,  money was tight back then  (  and even more so now  )  .  birthday celebrations just because a bit of a luxury to ed  ,  he’d just have a beer or two and call it a day . . . derek and his coworkers do try to drag him out  ,  but he doesn’t stay for too long  ,  not keen on getting smashed or spending too much money  .
