How to use a pressure washer on a car?
Using a pressure washer (commonly known as a Karsher) to clean your car is not complicated, but there are some practices to keep in mind to avoid any problems.
A pressure washer is not always mandatory, but it could speed up the process of cleaning your car and is one of the most important tools in car cleaning .
What is a high pressure washer?
A pressure washer is a device that sucks water from one end and then expels it at the other end with great force. The water is then forced through a relatively small tube, which speeds up its flow. When the water comes out of the tube (the lance) it has gained a lot of speed which helps to increase the energy of the impact with the surface.
In real life terms, this means that the water goes to one end and comes out very hard at the other end.
Does a pressure washer use more water?
Because the water is forced out from the other side, some people believe that they use more water in this way. This is not the case.
The amount of water is not increased , the tube into which the water is to be forced is smaller. The same amount of water that passes through a smaller tube should accelerate to ease the overall pressure pushing it. This means that a pressure washer (or Karsher) can use the same amount of water (sometimes even less) as a regular garden hose, but makes the water jet much more efficient. Less water and more efficiency!
What to keep in mind when washing the car
Keep your distance, you don't need to keep the lance directly close to the surface you are cleaning.
Bring the lance closer to the surface if dirt and grease persist on the surface.
Always clean your car from top to bottom.
Perform up and down movements.
The pressure washer is the best tool for using the snow foam gun.
Try not to spray directly into the cracks to avoid possibly damaging something or getting the electrical circuits wet.
Try to spray the water at an angle so that the water is removed.
