What I hear.
WHEN IT IS ROITS YOU CALL FOR PEACEFUL PROTESTS, OUTRAGED AT VIOLENCE.
WHEN THERE ARE PEACEFUL PROTESTS YOU SCOFF AT THE TIME THE PROTESTORS WASTED DOING NOTHING.
YET YOU USE MAHATMA GANDHI FOR THE EXAMPLE OF A PEACEFUL PROTEST.
YET WHEN A WOMEN DOES WHAT GANDHI DID, SHE IS ARRESTED ON THE SPOT.
It's just a mistake, you say. Never happened, you say. If only the whole protest was like her, you say. I'm sure she is okay, you say.
WHEN NAZIS SHOW UP WITH GUNS AT A PROTEST IT IS THEIR RIGHT TO PROTEST PEACEFULLY WITH GUNS, BULLETS SHOT IN THE AIR.
It was an accident they shot, maced, hit, or axed someone, you say. It never happened, everyone is lying, all fake videos, you say. They were protecting themselves, you say. Opposers attacked them first, you say. Their right to protest peacefully is under attack, you say.
YET WHEN INDIGENOUS PEOPLE PROTEST ON THEIR LAND WITHOUT GUNS, BUT MUSIC AND DANCE, YOU STAY SILENT AS THE MILITARY OPENS FIRE ON UNARMED PEOPLE.
You say, they should get out of the way. Protesting is useless, you say.
WHEN A PROTEST IS TRULY A PEACEFUL PROTEST, NO GUNS, NO GEAR BUT THE CLOTHES ON THEIR BACKS, YOU LOOK AWAY AND MOCK THEM.
Time wasted, you say.
WHEN IT'S VIOLENT, ROITS AND GUNS, YOU CRY, WHERE ARE THE PEACEFUL PROTESTORS?
Where are the time wasters that will never be Mahatma Gandhi?
I hear you say.

A secular individual’s new 2020
It has been a sweet ride up to now, I cannot say my thoughts or opinions have been stagnate. No, not at all. I can say there is something magic about keeping your imagination ignited with the unbelievable, to shoot for the possibility of making the impossible become a probable in our everyday activities. Consequently, I would hope this ambitious point of view of life can give rise to a bridge for the believers and non-believers, to meet in the middle, if you will. This feeling to strive for something out of our reach in our worldly life is similar to the strong feeling the religious call faith. As a result of my written statement I am sure some will use this same theory of human connection to call for secular individuals to enlist as believers in their personal gods, religions and faiths, but I will warn that is a quick way to burn your bridges my friends. And that makes for resentment, hostiles, hurt, anger, or hate to arise, a very disgraceful way to show another person the “good” intentions a religious individual my wish to bring, indeed. A strong bridge is strengthened with patience and the “grace” to realize others are not yours to control.  ....To let things be out of your control is a hard lesson to learn. I can sympathise with the religious and the secular point of views at that simplified core feeling - the feeling of fear. The fear to lose control of the world around you. To sense it’s not connected to you...to your god(s), and/or catastrophize what that means. I can admit I have failed time and time again myself to not over bare another person, but every failure has shown me a way to ensure I can avoid suffocating another’s will. To avoid creating deep resentment, while also keeping my individuality and boundaries. Things are never in your complete control...is that not a lesson some god(s) address?  Ether way, I’m pretty happy to say that is all my update brings today. May this year bring us closer to those we love, and may my intentions behind my words not be lost in the veritable ways it could be translated by another’s perspective. More over, I hope my posts bring some peace or hope for another. Something sweet for the day, and perhaps a thought to spark critical thinking. Have sweet dreams and the will to strive for them my secular/agnostic and atheist friends.

This gifset shows how Gabriella gives Ariel a sign name based on her long hair, notice how she use the first letter of Ariel’s name in sign form (letter ‘A’) to ‘write/draw’ with both hands the hair of our favorite redhead.
In Deaf culture and sign language, a sign name (or a name sign) is a special sign that is used to uniquely identify a person, just like a name.
Name signs come in all forms. Some are based on the person’s birth name or initials. Some are based on their physical features or personality traits. And other name signs might be based on the person’s interests.

I’m suing the U.S. government for causing the climate change crisis, and I'm 22.
Tumblr media
My name is Kelsey Juliana and I’m suing the United States government for causing and accelerating the climate change crisis. I’m 22 years old and I’ve been a climate activist for more than half of my life.
I know that young people like me, and others who have yet to be born, have a right to a safe climate system. The constitution guarantees all Americans the right to life, liberty, and property. But how is anyone supposed to live a life of freedom amid a climate crisis? My own government is violating my constitutional rights by its ongoing and deliberate actions that cause climate change and it’s not right.
I, along with 20 other young people from around the country, filed a lawsuit against the federal government in 2015, called Juliana v. United States.
We’re not asking for money. Instead, we’re asking the court to order the government to develop and implement a National Climate Recovery Plan based on the best available science.
This plan should end the reign of fossil fuels and quickly decarbonize our atmosphere so that we can stabilize our climate system before it’s too late.
The longer we go without climate recovery, the more we risk allowing our climate to spiral completely out of control.
And the climate is spiraling out of control, no matter how many politicians claim we’re experiencing normal fluctuations or, worse, a “hoax.” All of the expert witnesses in our lawsuit say that we are currently—already—in the “danger zone” and an “emergency situation” with only 1°C of planetary heating. Allowing the planet to heat up any more is not safe for our species, as well as so many others. And according to the Trump administration’s most recent environmental impact statement, the planet could heat as much as 7°F before the end of this century. We cannot allow this to happen because we simply will not survive.
We originally filed our lawsuit against the Obama administration. That administration tried to have the case dismissed, but the judge ruled in our favor and found that we should be allowed to go to trial.
In 2017, the Trump administration inherited the lawsuit and it has done everything in its power, employing every conceivable tactic, to deny my fellow plaintiffs and me our right to present our case in court. This administration is so fiercely attempting to silence our voices.
At this point, every level of the federal judiciary—the U.S. District Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court—has denied the Trump administration’s efforts to have the case thrown out. Yet it will not halt its efforts to avoid standard legal procedures and confront us, the nation’s youth, in court.
Our trial is officially scheduled to begin on October 29, 2018 in Eugene, Oregon.
What we’re asking for could change everything.
My fellow plaintiffs and I want you with us as we head into the courtroom to confront the United States government for knowingly violating our constitutional rights. Supporters will hold rallies in every state around the country, so if you can’t be with us in Eugene, find your local rally here.

You can learn more about this case and get regular trial updates by tuning in to the No Ordinary Lawsuit podcast here.
Lastly, if you have the means, click here to make a donation to Our Children’s Trust, the nonprofit organization that supports our lawsuit and many others like it around the country.

New Years Day Thought 03: A new way parents live through their babies and toddlers is by shares and likes on social media. It's a new way to give yourself confirmation you are good parent, your children are as cute as you think, and that your love may be heard by more than just your baby...Like a couple sharing a photo of each other kissing online.  It's a short term reward in a long term commitment that has lots of unknowns in future

New years Day Thought 02: The pinnacle of hope is a lie, but so is the pinnacle of despair, we just have vivid imaginations/emotions. That's okay though, I think of it as despair can always be met with realistic steps to a better future, and the journey itself can be a reward with each moment of joy we experience on the way.

You Do Not Know GOD
Hard honesty: When someone says to me: "You don't know god" I think "Neither do you! No matter how much you read that holy book. Logically, if a type of creator exists there is an unlikelihood you have a personal relationship with it when there is 7.4 billion people on the planet (and rising). How do you know for sure what god tells you or directs you to do? Can you prove your instinct or gut feeling is god giving you a sign? How do you prove things happen because of god, and just for you or the people you know or witness? There has not been definitive proof yet for any of the above questions that is proven to be god which can be replicated over and over. It is highly more likely you take the good things in life and say, “Ah, that must be god,” just like a child who eats refined sugar for the first time and thinks, “oh that tastes good, I want more,” you go on your first impulse rather than look at probability and your own mood, environment, and what elements are involved in the situation to make this “good out-come” happen. It is illogical to use that first impulse.  Spirituality is more likely your own damn-self, interacting with the physical world you then interpret, not god. Logically there is no proof of the existence of god or proof god does not exist, that means god is an UNKNOWN. You cannot know an unknown based on people's opinionated perspectives (or your own). Furthermore that is all religious holy books are; ALL OF THEM are based in opinionated perspectives of said god, about things people did not understand at the time. These things where either simply disasters or miracles to most of the people of that time, the good/liked things where assumed as god and the bad/disliked things where assumed unholy or demonic.... by people who didn’t even know earth is a planet! They thought it was a large playground with borders, demons along-side scary snakes! Some say science is faith based too, like the “faith” in god. However, unlike god there is physical proof, not based on one opinion or many opinions, but observations of set up experiments, not on chance, but purposefully tested by humanity to witness what happens and why. An experiment as simply as mixing olive oil and water shows you how the two liquids’ chemical make-up repels each other and anyone can show you over and over again how and why it happens. You don’t wait for some random event to then claim it happened because of said god, a god that is an “unknown” you claim to know. Our definition of God within any religion is comparative to a negative number which people then claim is a positive number on the sole reasoning it is a negative number without an equation. That does not prove your answer, or show your answer, there is no equation that came to your answer--it’s just an assumption. Entry end 16/06/2017
