i don’t actually know when you left. not that i didn’t notice. i did. i noticed a lot of people left. ): i just am bad with keeping track of time, since it doesn’t really matter a whole lot to me ever. although i guess it kind of does more now, because kids grow up on a really short timeline, and if you look away, you’ll miss it. i’m not even sure how important that will be when he gets older. we think moro might actually be a real live dhampir! which might mean he will live a very long time. or he will just live like a human, which would be pretty sad, but it was what i was expecting anyway, so… i think most everything else is pretty much the same. we even rebuilt the manor, which burnt down. why it burnt down sucks a lot, but there is so much space again now that it’s back up. bringing summer is great. i love summer! i really appreciate it showing up.

i do not know, uh, when i left, because time is confusing and easy to lose, but it was like falling asleep, falling into the flow and ebb of life and settling, 

but it is empty around here now, which is sad,

i have seen, er, quite a few people grow up, though, and those first few years pass in the blink of an eye, and are so special, even if they forget when they are older, 

i did not know that your manor burned down, but i am glad, it is rebuilt, possibly even better than before,  is it better than before?

quiet’s good! i’ve been doing pretty much the same. jake and i are just hanging out on the farm mostly, though i do visit paolo and the family and some friends sometimes. it’s almost the solstice, so we’re getting ready for the traditional seasonal party. i’m pretty excited about that, but i’m always excited about that, so it’s not even news. and moro is so big now! and apparently the biggest rock fiend, which is pretty weird since no one else is like that in the family. wow. i just info dumped all over you. whoopsie.

info dump is fine, it has been so long that i barely, remember what went on before i left, so you can continue to, uh, info dump,

i mean an infant, actually. so he’s both very short and very child. good luck with your hunt and the world! the sort of stories where if they were in any language his adoptive mother spoke, they would get me booted hard, curse or no. i can’t help it if bawdy tales are the most animated. :)

ha ha!  good good, that is beautiful, even more so that he enjoys it,  unless he tells them to his mother, then you may be in trouble, 

well the hunt was easy enough,  the world, not so much,

that sounds adorable, even if you mean a short person, over a child,  i am just being around, enjoying the world,  hunting a meal,

I learned in a Latin Studies class (with a chill white dude professor) that when the Europeans first saw Aztec cities they were stunned by the grid. The Aztecs had city planning and that there was no rational lay out to European cities at the time. No organization.
