I came up with this while thinking about the OC and who she is. I did some plotting ahead of time, (if writers block isn't stopping me, I'm gonna write it down!) and while I don't have her motivations pinpointed, I wanted to give as much information as I have for the inspiration behind the starter.

If this is too specific or counts as godmodding in advance, then treat this as a loose idea. I realise anything can happen while writing, and that coming in with a set plan can sap creative energy and be annoying. (I mostly feel least creative when receiving very specific requests that set out most outcomes.)

They ran away together without the blessing of their families. No money to their name and no support network. They rent a room at the Playfair. (Maybe that's possible.)

Kieran starts working as a singer there. When Kieran catches the eye of Lestat, he starts disappearing during the nights? Leaving Timothea to wonder where he's been. Lestat has seen a glimmer of his former lover Nicki in Kieran.

Something is happening between Kieran and Timothea. He's not telling her something. He becomes distant and the intimacy between them is dwindling with the ever frequent absence of Kieran and the secrets he keeps from her.

Can it be possible she is persuaded to work at the Fair Play by Lestat? (He pays her for her time, simple at first, then gets more suggestive). He is trying to break her and Kieran up. Keeps him away from her. Furthering their disillusionment with each other. Gets her to fall for him.

Timothea goes to the river to look for Kieran when he's not back one night. Heard of corpses washing up on shore. Lestat finds her wading through the water, losing hope and in distress. Lestat takes her home?

Author's note: An OC invented to occupy IWTV universe and intended to be paired with IWTV show (Sam) Lestat. However this is an open starter to all.

Content warning: This starter alludes to loss, death and violence and it has potential to develop in that direction. Any romance in the fics could result in smut so bear in mind, 18 + writers only please. Although romance pairings/smut are not necessary.

Background for this starter

The colour that seemed to flow out of the dress spoke of a fiery urgency as the layers of her skirts, waterlogged and flowing, spread out below the waters surface in floating tendrils. In desperation to find Kieran, she had stepped into the river fully dressed, searching for anything to show her he was not in the cold depths. Having no ability to find confirmation of his safety, to know that at least he was not here, she stood in the water in exasperation.

Stood there until her bones grew cold, tears blending into the infinite flow of the river. And in it's infinite flow, there was a parralel continuous stillness that seemed to fill the air and create a an unease within her, begging for her to check her surroundings.

Female | 20s | Based : New Orleans | Boyfriend: Kieran

Timothea, a young woman in her 20s and her beloved Kieran have eloped to New Orleans without a support network. He sings at the Fair Play lounge and she swears she will never 'work' the rooms of the establishment. Why would she need to if she has him? What could tear them apart? She thought running would be the answer, but might be a lesson instead.
