What is the hardest part about selfshipping for you?

To no one's surprise, I'd say it's Ryuk being fictional... I would much rather spend time with him than just draw us spending time together...

Besides that I don't find it hard, I have fun and enjoy showing my love for him, it's very important to me 💕

Love your selfship! Are there any personal headcanons you've added for Ryuk? (Ex: can shinigamis purr, do they have their own language, etc)

Not really, I don't have any headcanons because it's important for me to keep Ryuk as close to canon as possible! So I think of everything that wasn't explained in the manga as something that could be one way or another, I don't mind. However, Shinigami having their own language is pretty likely, the one they use to write rules etc, it's probably their own after all.

how do you insert yourself into/redraw the manga panels? they are so cute and look so professional U_U <3

Thank you very much!!

I start by recreating the background in place of the character I want to remove. I use the Ibis Paint brushes plus paste parts of the existing background to make it more similar.

Then I draw myself! And use Ibis Paint textures for the shadows, to make them more manga like. Then use the font from the actual manga to write the dialogues 😊

If you and Ryuk were handcuffed together, what do you think would happen?

Well, Ryuk can go incorporeal, so I don't think we'd be handcuffed for long 😆

I wouldn't mind being handcuffed to him though haha!
