I can't really say anything about the gameplay or mechanics outside Dares, but i love Destiny so much. The story, the characters, the fact that i love both enough to put myself into a multiplayer activity where i'm normally! Not gonna do that! Ever! is wild to me.

I love that the narrative and lore convey so many themes and emotions so very very well that it's able to bring me to tears. I love the OST. I love the scenery and overall atmosphere for each location. I love wandering around just to admire the world. I love finding collectables. I love meeting randoms while waiting and it spontaneously becoming an emote party. I love dressing up my Guardian.

I love that it eventually lead me here and let me meet others who also love it. I love reading people's posts about their favorites because I can see the love and enthusiasm they have for a character i might not even think about, and it makes that character special to me, too. I love that people will draw their favs and ocs. I love the rambles people make about their Guardians and non-Guardians alike. I love when people throw their ocs at canon characters. I love seeing gimmick blogs being silly. I love the community here.

There's a lot more but idk. It's nice. :')

ash and iron predictions: efrideet comes back to check in on how things are doing. we get a cutscene showing us canon appearances for the main iron lords and skorri probably narrates a large portion of said cutscene with poetry. shaxx has a voice line or two. we get new iron banner armor that actually looks good. The Nine Do Some Weird Time Stuff and that's how we meet felwinter. then ?????. and i profit
