i think one world under doom has fallen into the unfortunate territory of "villain is vaguely progressive coded but then kills a baby to prove they're still evil and our heroes need to defeat them" rip
#with the direction the story was taking i thought the latveria reveal would be that doom was#keeping the real world in a little bubble and what's on earth rn is perfect ideal world in his image#and it'd have something More To Say politically. like these solutions cannot come easily it's not in human nature to#agree with everyone on everything you have to fight for the right thing rather than come up w a temporary band aid fix it#i am not totally read up on doom's characterization i don't think it's in character for him to sacrifice his own people for himself#or the good of the world? but maybe i am wrong idk#wednesday spoilers#rare north miss tbh. ALTHOUGH i still think he is one of the best at pacing and telling a story in the medium#even if i'm not so hot on what the comic is doing i am still glued to the page wanting to know what happens next
