Mermaids!! 🧜

Girls on the left are my unnamed darlings, and the two on the right are based on characters from a series I absolutely adore 💟

Didn't realize until very recently that, I used to just... not put ears on my characters? Not sure when I started. Didn't notice there was ever a deaf portion of my artistic story 🦻

Not entirely sure how this little guy made his books float, so I decided to give him a lil wand, and an updated (magic) bracelet ✨️

He didn't have a name before, but Olive or Oliver really spoke to me for him, which inspired the green in his outfit. Why ginger? Idk 💚

This drawing was a huge staple in my drawing folder for the longest time! It was in the front pocket of my binder, the wallpaper to my chromebook, and it was kept on the top of the pile when all my drawings ended up in the closet. This isn't the first redraw that I've done, I just can't find the older ones 😭

This piece has always, and will always be called, Neon Rain. I felt so clever at the time, and I chose to soak in that pride for as long as I can 🌧

The only thing I know of these two is that they're an older brother and little sister. Nameless and faceless, just enjoying the rain together ☂️

Something more recent, The Scribe ✒️

Haven't given her a real name yet, just a title. Came up with her while observing one of my partner's DnD games. While they're playing, I just sit, watch, and draw little sketches of scenes or characters, or settings I find interesting. Kinda creating a log of their little adventures, thus, The Scribe ❤️

Even though they're completely different pictures, the new was based and inspired by the old, so I'm still considering it a redraw 🫶

One of, if not the biggest issue of my old drawings, is head shape. Closely followed by hair, poses, hands, proportions, ect, ect. So, the main focus of this one was just to make the whole scene a little more interesting. Improving all of the above, even if only a little bit ✨️

Don't have a name or story for this lil gal, she's just a musically entranced sweetie 💛

If I remember correctly, this lil guy is named Kayden. He was my first ever guy character! Until Kayden, I only ever drew girls, which I've found is a universal experience for beginner artists 🪐

Discovering how fun it was to draw all the little fluffs on feathers was an entire chapter in my artistic story. It is forever one of my lil doodles that I will put in the margins of all my notebooks 🪶
