So Logan probably has a bit of a different backstory for him to be different than in alip, but do any of the other have changes?

Logan's is the most drastic. But all the others have changes too. The most drastic being probably Clyde and Patton.

I was thinking ab what the difference between impractical!Logan was to alip!Logan in the backstory and I have 2 theories:

1. The incident with his parents didn't happen or happend differently (feels likely, big turning point for alip!Logan was the incident)

2. Im not sure if powers were more know when Logan was a kid, but maybe he hid them less in alip making people scared of him or smth? (Not so sure ab this theory tbh)

You definitely got some parts right but not all of it. ;)

Ok, this might be a silly question but will be Deciet be called Janus in this AU or Clyde because it’s an au of the alip universe?

It’ll be Clyde at first but just like in ALiP, he’ll change his name to Janus at a later point. I always had an in canon way to change it if/when Deceit’s name was revealed.

Okay, so if supers are known and broadcast on the news a lot. Have any of them tried to become a brand and make a job out of hero stuff? Maybe they're similar to something like Youtubers? Is there some kind of organization for heroes so they can be a hero for a living?

Sort of, yes. There was a thing about 50 years ago where people were trying to have it so people with ‘the DNA to create these super-powered children’ were cataloged to keep track in case their abilities surfaced. But it mysteriously was stopped and instead rights to protect them passed through the government to allow their privacy. This allowed them to start careers and businesses based on their powers. There is a divide in people wanting these shut down but it doesn’t get much of a following. 

People correctly assume that people with powers became part of the government and work it from the inside. And because they’re protected, no one knows who.

A lot of these businesses are still new and none are that big yet but they do have there are some that ARE and the community will continue to grow.

Hey guys.  I know it’s been a while, but I have a brand new story to share.

This is my OC Submission for @residentanchor‘s @impractical-au.  In this tale, my character, The Traveler, takes on some baddies with some help from Copy Cat (aka Patton), as well as dwells on how he developed his powers and why he’s come to New Gainesburg.

And to keep things clear, here’s a profile of my OC to make it easier to see his stats:

Age:  29

Pronouns:  He/Him

Hero Name:  The Traveler

Powers:  Portal Creation, Astral Projection

Orientation:  Asexual Biromantic

Motivations:  Wants to know what’s going on, but doesn’t want to hurt people to figure it out; Also wants to help protect innocent people caught in the growing action

Alignment:  Good, Oscillating between Lawful and Neutral

Costume:  Old-fashioned Aviator Goggles, Brown Trench Coat, Grey Scarf, Old-style Brown Work Gloves, Brown Work Boots, Navy Blue Polo Shirt, Dark Blue Jeans

what if there was a person in the city who makes the clothes for supers? Maybe they're neutral and help everyone and keeps their identities a secret but also has safety measures in place for anonymity. Maybe Virgil's boss or someone? Maybe they came to the city because they heard about the supers and wanted to make a profit or they have someone close to them who is also a super or both?

There is actually an OC entry that is a person who makes costumes!!

I don’t remember if there was anyone else but I knew there was someone! (I planned on using them for the story after a point if I could work it in!)

Just finished rereading the four and Remy's origin stories and the first two chapters. And I am still loving this AU of your AU. I did have a couple of questions, though. First, are the five origins and the two chapters the only officially released bits of the story so far? And second, is it too late to send in my OC Profile and Origin Story? I finally finished it.

Ok! First off, Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying it. Second: I did close submissions just because I have SO MANY backlogged and I want to post them before I write the next chapter! There will be a big dump of OCs soon! The submissions will open back up after the next chapter which should be after all that! Second, if you still want to submit, you can! You can either wait or tag this blog! Note that tagging this blog, it might get drowned out and I might miss it. But I will look if you tell me you have and I haven’t responded. (I have some asks like that) Lastly, I’m sorry I didn’t see this earlier. The origins and 2 chapters are all I have out. I could write more but the OC submissions get overwhelming very easily (because I take notes of the ones that fit the lore the best to try to write in or reference in some way. As the story goes on, you’ll notice more being referenced or appearing).  <3

Good. You should. Impractical Logan is just ALiP Logan who still thinks he’s better than everyone else.

The new chapter made me feel a way I can’t explain. It made me aware of just how much things are changing. Everything is changing, and getting better and I guess it felt like the future.

This story is MUCH different. Now that I have a full lore and cast of characters, I can add their families in more naturally and spin this story I have. I know it won’t be a story for everyone but it’ll be interesting at least.

Roman sat on the couch of his shared apartment, hunched over with his mask in his hands. It was crudely made with his limited knowledge and a few hours online searching, but he was proud of it. He ran his thumb over a part of the border that held on a piece of gold ribbon that was hanging on by hot glue. It was uncomfortable to wear but it was his. It’s what made him Prince Charging. It’s what allowed him to run around and help people as he had always dreamed.
