Meh. Why can’t it just be Sonic that’s chubby?

[hmmmmm okay I'm gonna answer this one seriously. Why can't both of them be chubby? A story can have more than one fat character. A relationship can have more than one fat partner. Characters can have different body types, and different relationships to food, and different views on their weight. They can have different struggles and different joys and different preferences. They can do all of this while both being fat.

If you want a blog where Shadow is skinny you can follow literally 99% of Sonic blogs out there. That's fine if that's what you want. But I have decided that here, on my blog(s), Shadow is allowed to be soft. He's allowed to change, to grow, to lose himself and find himself again, to become more comfortable with being kind to himself, to learn to be gentle with himself. He deserves that; everyone deserves that.

I don't know what reason you would have to be okay with Sonic being fat but not Shadow, but whatever it is, it doesn't have a place on this blog. My Shadow is a character many people relate to, especially with his self image and self worth struggles, and I want everyone to know without a doubt that they are allowed to be fat and happy.

TLDR: chubby Shadow is here to stay, on both of my blogs. They will be loved wholeheartedly by their Sonics, and by their friends, and by me, and by our followers. They will not be made to be small.]

I made more fankids for my SonShadAmy pairing as per the poll requested with slight angst.

Pearl is Shadow's and Amy's. Healthy.

Rosa, Mia and Luna are triplets (yes I made a reference to Sonic Underground) sonic was trapped and unaware he was carrying kids. He got out and ran back to Tails but Tails couldn't save Mia.

My mom also gave me the idea from an old saying: Speak No Evil. See No Evil and Hear No Evil. Indigo can't talk. Rosa can't hear. Luna can't see.

Following the events of the Showdown and watching live as his role model lost by a slim margin. Indigo stood up, heading straight to his Uncle's workshop where a prototype dimensional gun was in the world. Hooked up to a stand, wires plugged to a power source. It was amateur at best but it would work for what he needed. All he had to do was type a name or some sort of desired destination. It would in turn lock on and open a portal.

He grabbed a wrist watch that would connect to the machine across time and space. Placing it on as he limped through the portal into a familiar but different Hedgehog Village. Everyone looked the same but only one stood out to him. Sitting at the Meh Burger, poking at the food and drink sitting in front of him. Ears folded down. He didn't dash over. He just walked and took the chair in front of his friend. He didn't reach out but he did get his attention.

“Oh, hey bud. Uh, not really in the mood to race ya.” His gaze went back to the food. “Sorry to disappoint you.”

‘no race. Heard the news. I'm sorry.’

“Oh, you were following that too huh? Yeah uh…it was close. Gave it my all…thought…” Rush let a long sigh out. “I really thought if I won, I could earn their respect. Get noticed maybe. I don't know. Something!” He held his head. “...heh, just like me to fail right? After all, Shadow won't…and Dad he…”

Indi put his head on the table and watched.

“Sorry bud, I know you have a great family but…not everyone got lucky.” He pushed his food away. “This was stupid. Why did I bother trying?”

‘for what it's worth. You inspired me. I thought people like me with issues couldn't do anything. Yet look at how far you got!? You are a hero to me! Always will be! Just wait, one day, you'll surpass them. Make them see how amazing Rush the Hedgehog is!’ Indigo posed for a second.

It got his friend to laugh for a moment, “you think so?”

‘I know so! I am honored to call someone as cool as you a friend.’

“Heh, thanks Indi. It means a lot.”

‘Wanna go throw rocks into the lava?’

“Yeah why not. Little bit of danger never hurt anyone,” Silas stood up and stretched. “First one there is a rotten Meh Burger.”

‘oh it's on!’

Both sped right out of town. Surprising everyone.

I am having a low moment about my own weight but then I remembered you guys (gestures to Yaoi and Yuri) and how you accepted it and embraced it. I always....try to stay thin and keep the "healthy" image society wants but seeing you guys just be you and healthy....makes me hope I can accept it one day.

I know how hard it is to break away from the image you think everybody wants you to be. But honestly, the people that matter just want you to be you.

Learning to accept and love yourself as you are takes time and work. It’s not gonna happen overnight. But it’s so worth the effort.

It may seem impossible at times, but soon you’ll look back and realise just how far you’ve come.

You’ll still have ups and downs… but the downs get easier, and the ups become more frequent.

Yeah we’re awesome, but so are you. Thanks for being you, too!

So! I saw my eye doctor. Turns out. I need glasses. Permanent ones. So once I get my glasses (hopefully soon) I can proceed to stop... squinting at what I type and actually write once more.

Patient 2: S [taken in with a flu the same day as Patient K. Will be put under observation)

Health: 90%

He seems to be worried about being locked up. He is stressing over the people who are getting sick and blames himself. He appears to have a flu, we have given him antibiotics to help and sleep medicine to keep him calm.

Current Symptoms

Vomiting

Body aches and chills

Sore throat

Before the escape of Patient 1 and the others. We saw no change in Patient 2. We gave him the flu meds and saw no change so assumed it was a normal flu. Only recently did we notice that as we grew sick at different speeds. His being the slowest

Day 3 of observation

The patient has finally shown signs of stage 1 that we all have. We will continue to observe ourselves and him.

Like us, he claims to be hearing a voice. This voice is asking for something but due to moments of memery? Memories? Memory, can't recall what was asked. He can't recall our questions, nor can we. Seems we all have been experiencing black outs and have been unable to recall if we said, did or asked anything.

It's been harder for us to think. Harder to do or even move quickly. For me, feels as if I am walking through…I can't recall what I was going to write. What's going on with us? What's…what's happening to us?

I think…is it stage 3? No..stage 2. It's 2. We, I confirmed that we are indeed infected with a different strand. Patient 2 has the same as us. Most of them left? Died? I can't remember. Right…the stats. Whose stats are these? Mine? His?

We don't feel thirsty…or hungry. The voices though…they need something. What did they need? It's been so quiet. When was the last time I talked? Could I ever? Did we…who is we? It's just me and…that guy in the glass. He doesn't move. Is he dead? What's dead even mean?

I have a moment but this could be the last for a while. We can't recall things. It's so hard to remember how this started. Please don't hurt us. The things in our heads. They want a body. One that isn't ours. We can hear them. Find them a body. Help us be free of them. I want to remember my family, my friends, my life before things went bad.

Being lucid hurts. I vomit this black ooze. Patient S does the same. I've let him out and he simply wanders the lab. The voices want out. Get this virus out of us. Don't trust Patient K. She travels with those who lost themselves to the virus. Please. I beg you. Don't trust her. Don't trust them. They will eat you. But we won't. We aren't hungry. We aren't thirsty. They want out. Get them out! I beg you! If you find us wandering, I promise we are safe. We just…can't…what was I going to write? Oh right…stats…
