you have to be extremely intentional with the choices you make and the life you create for yourself - the people you cultivate relationships with, the things you spend time doing, the career you have, the habits you build - don’t just let things happen to you, take control of what you can and leave the rest to God

I have a huge issue with people who come into my life, distort my views & cause me pain. I’m a wholesome person with a pure outlook on life. It’s not that I haven’t had struggles—I’ve been through literal hell. But I’ve spent years investing in my healing and rewiring my brain. It’s incredibly frustrating when someone disregards all that work and disrupts the peace I’ve fought for.

The reason it’s so disrespectful is because the trauma others create forces me into more involuntary healing. It feels like a theft of my time, energy, and progress, making me repair damage I didn’t cause.

Also when we reach the end of our lives, the brain releases chemicals and electrical activity during the dying process, heightening memory recall and emotional processing. Unresolved trauma, suppressed memories and unhealed wounds can surface, replaying the pain we’ve endured.

In those final moments, our subconscious constructs vivid experiences based on the emotional imprints we carry, bringing up stored memories & unresolved conflicts, feelings of guilt. If someone caused significant pain, that pain resurfaces in those moments, becoming part of your final experience. No one deserves that much power over you.

That’s why, in my humble opinion, you need to be incredibly mindful of who you allow into your life. Not everyone deserves access to your energy, healing, or peace. People bring their unresolved issues & without care, they project their chaos onto you, leaving you to deal with the fallout. Protecting your space isn’t just about avoiding pain—it’s about preserving the life you’ve worked so hard to build. Forgive yourself for your experiences and make peace with situations.
