Small Business Grants Program by Facebook
This year there is no doubt that many small businesses across the globe, especially here in the Philippines are affected because of this pandemic. Some decided to stop its operation, and cut manpower to avoid major losses.
Yesterday, while browsing the internet I saw a post about Small business grants program by Facebook that offers $100 million ( P4.8 billion) cash and ad credits to those businesses that are really affected by the pandemic.
According to Facebook, this will allow more than 30,000 small businesses in 30 selected countries, including the Philippines for the said program.
"We know that your business may be experiencing disruptions resulting from the global outbreak of covid-19. We've heard that a little financial support can go a long way, so we're offering $100 million in cash grants and ad credits to help during the this challenging time." statement from Facebook
Here in the Philippines, according to Facebook they will give P55 million cash grants and ad credits to 500 eligible small businesses in Metro Manila. The application will run from October 6 to 12, 2020.
Here is the qualification for the small business grants program by facebook
1. Securities and exchange commission (SEC) registration business entity.
2. Articles of Incorporarion of Partnership
3. Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Certificate of Registration
And also your small business should have atleast 2-50 employees. Almost one year in operation, and truly affected by this pandemic.
