On The Floor
Steve Rogers x Reader
Summary: While clubbing with the Avengers, you are bothered by a creepy man on the dancefloor. You turn to Steve for help.
Word Count: 1344
It had all started when Tony had announced how âfucking boredâ he was, which had caused Steve to huff at his use of profanity. Now, you were standing at the entrance of a  very fancy club (that Tony had picked, of course.) with the rest of the Avengers because Tony had decided that it would be best for you all to go clubbing.

Privilege
Chibs Telford x Reader (and a bit Juice Ortiz x Reader)
Summary: Your old man really isnât in the mood for dancing with you at Opie and Lylaâs wedding. Luckily, youâve got a couple tricks up your sleeve to make him join you on the dancefloor. Turns out, Juiceâs crush on you can really come in handy.
Word Count: 854
âCome on, Chibs.â You said as the band began playing an upbeat rhythm, âThis is my favourite song, and you know it. Just dance with me.â
You were tired of just sitting around, and had been begging your boyfriend to get on the dancefloor with you for the last couple of minutes. âPlease,â You said sweetly, doing your best to convince him. âThis is a wedding, weâre supposed to have fun! Not just sit around,â âNah,â He shook his head, and raised his beer to his mouth to take another sip before continuing to speak, âIâm not in the mood for dancing. Sorry, lass.â
To be exact, he never was. And usually, it didnât bother you much that he never danced with you at parties. You were fine with dancing on your own, or just chilling with him at a table. But it was a wedding, after all, and nearly all of your friends were on the dancefloor with their old men. Lyla and Opie enjoyed their newly-wed bliss, and even Jax had gotten up to dance with Tara. They all seemed to have such a great time, and you couldnât help but feel a bit jealous as you watched them.

Canât Keep Running From You (Part 3)
Summary: You went too far, and Draco has finally had enough of you. At least thatâs what you think. But true feelings donât just vanish, and neither does his desire to protect you.
Words: 4303
A/N: This is the last part to this mini-series, and you can find the other parts here: Part 1 Part 2
Iâd be really thankful for some feedback, so if anyone wants to tell me what they thought about this I would love that đ„° Thank you for reading!
You hadnât expected him to react like this. And even worse, you didnât want him to react like this. Students walked all around you, but their chatter and laughter were dulled in your ears.
You knew you needed to head to class, but your feet didnât move, no matter how hard you tried. You shook your head, trying to compose yourself.
It wasnât until another student accidentally bumped outright into you that you were brought back into reality. You mouthed a hasty sorry to the girl and quickly began walking to your class.
Over the next few days, you didnât talk to Draco at all. Whenever you sought him out, he went out of his way to get away from you. One day, when Professor Sprout wanted you to work together in Herbology class, he even went so far and requested another partner to be paired up with.
It hurt more than you had expected, though you werenât sure why. You tried to tell yourself it was just your bruised ego, now that you were the one being avoided. But if it was just that, then why did your breath stop every time you spotted Draco in your classes, the hallways, the Great Hall?
This is what you had wanted all along, wasnât it? Didnât you want it to be over? If so, why did it hurt so freaking much?
You tried your best to distract yourself from these thoughts, and throwing yourself into your schoolwork was your favoured method to do so at the moment.
But sooner than you liked, it was Friday, and the weekend was getting closer. You had never thought of yourself to be in the position to dread the free time that came with it, but for the first time in your life, you did.
You had finished all your homework already, and as you left your last lesson for to the day, you knew there were no more distractions from Draco. At least not until Monday.
You couldnât even hang out with your usual friends, since the Golden Trio had some project due together that Hermione would make sure to force them to work for all weekend.
âY/N, wait up,â Pansyâs voice called out behind you, just as you were walking away from your last class.
âYeah?â You stopped in your tracks, curious as to why she wanted to talk to you.
âWeâre having another party at the Slytherin Dungeon tonight, you want to come?â She asked, before putting on a sceptical face, âJust donât leave as early as last time. You still didnât tell me why, by the way.â

Canât Keep Running From You (Part 2)
Summary: You give in to Draco, until you canât anymore. The back and forth seems to break both your hearts.Â
Word Count: 2724
A/N: This is the second part to this mini-series, you can find the first one here!
The next morning, you woke up in your dorm room with a throbbing headache. Your hangover was painful enough, you were glad that you had at least dodged Filch and the inevitable detention if he had spotted you. Thankfully, you had made it back in time to your room.Â
You wondered whether Draco had escaped him, and thinking of him brought what had happened last night back into your mind. The memories were hazy, but you remembered enough for deep regret to form in you.Â
Oh Merlin, you had really told Draco all about your ex, even though you had sworn yourself to never tell a soul. And worse, you had kissed him. Sure, you could try and blame it on the alcohol if Draco confronted you, but at the same time you knew that he would never buy into that.
There was a small part of you that didnât regret that kiss, didnât regret how it had made you feel like him and you were the only two people in the world for just a second.Â
But at the same time, you felt as if you had lead him on, made him believe that there was actually a chance for you two to get serious and end this back and forth. But there wasnât this chance, there couldnât be.
Draco Malfoy was the type of guy to break your heart into a million pieces once you let him in, you were sure of it.Â

Canât Keep Running From You (Part 1)
Summary: You have been hurt badly in the past and trusted the wrong guy, and you donât ever want that to happen again. Still, you canât deny your growing feelings for Draco Malfoy. Itâs a game of push and pull between the two of you, and it keeps getting harder to avoid him. Draco doesnât want to give up on the connection you both have, but will that end in you being the one to hurt him?
Word Count: 3064
[TW: mentions of alcohol]
A/N: You can find the second part to this mini-series here!
âIâll be back in a minute, Pansy. I promise Iâll join in with the next round of shots,â
You had just stepped out of the Slytherin dorm room, trying to get away from the party that was happening in there for just a moment. Your mind was already buzzing from the fruity bowl of punch that Pansy had managed to sneak in, and you needed some time to breath.
You werenât quite sure how you had managed to get invited to a Slytherin party in the first place, but you definitely werenât going to complain. You mused that it was probably Draco Malfoyâs doing, anyway, It had been a fun night so far, even though you hadnât gotten to talk to him for more than a minute since you had arrived. You were probably better of that way, though.
It was a push and pull between Draco and you, it always had been. There was something there, and you both knew it ever since you first met.
But you had been hurt before, your trust betrayed by your previous boyfriend. That had left a bigger mark on you than you had ever thought possible. You had never been a person that trusted easily, and your ex going behind your back was the last straw. Those feelings that you had for Draco, those scared you. You knew that he was someone you could see yourself getting serious with, and that was a risk you werenât ready to take. You didnât want history to repeat itself, and ending up hurt again.
You took a deep breath and mentally prepared yourself to go back in, still craving the blondâs presence but wanting to force yourself to keep on avoiding him, nonetheless.
Behind you, you could hear the entrance door of the common room being swung open. You turned around instinctively, and froze in place when you recognized the figure that stepped out.

Ugly Sweaters (12 Days of Christmas)
Fred Weasley x Reader
Summary: Your boyfriend Fred Weasley questions how hard it can possibly be to knit Christmas sweaters like his mother does. A playful competition between him and you ensues, and neither of you want to lose this bet.Â
A/N: This is the Second Day of 12 Days of Christmas
Prompt â Ugly sweaters
It was quite early this morning at the Burrow, and you still felt rather sleepy as you sat at the table having breakfast with your boyfriend Fred. It was the day before Christmas, and it certainly wasnât time for any gifts yet. Still, Molly came over to you with a neatly wrapped gift in her hands as soon as she spotted you.
âOh Y/N, Iâm glad youâre both awake already. I thought it would be good to give this to you early so you could wear it in this cold,â She handed you the package with a smile, and you opened it gratefully.
âThank you, Molly,â You grinned whole-heartedly at the woman in front of you as soon as you had opened it, holding up the knitted sweater with your initial on it that she had just gifted you, âItâs so beautiful. But you really shouldnât have-â
âYouâre welcome, dear.â Molly interrupted you gently, âYouâre part of the family now, of course I made you one too.â
âThanks so much,â You had only been in a relationship with Fred since the beginning of the year, so the fact that she already welcomed you into the family meant a lot to you, âIâm sure it must have been a lot of effort.â
âItâs really not, Mum uses a charm to knit most of these sweaters-â Fred interrupted your conversation rudely, munching on his breakfast in between words.
âIâm sure itâs still a lot of work,â You interjected, and Molly backed you up in front of her son.
âFred Weasley- I donât think Iâve taught you to be this rude to your mother,â She scolded him, but Fred only grinned at her, âIf you think itâs that easy, why donât you try and make them next Christmas? For the whole family, of course-â
âWhy wait till next year?â Fred prompted, seemingly enjoying to scolding looks you were both giving him and wanting to tease you further, âI can make one today and still have a relaxing Christmas,â

Last-Minute Christmas Shopping (12 Days of Christmas)
Happy Lowman x Reader
Summary: Your boyfriend Happy Lowman doesnât want to be dragged to the mall for some Christmas shopping, but you insist on him coming. His frugal ways donât make things easy, though. But turns out, thereâs some things even Happy doesnât want to save costs on. And thatâs his special gift for you.
A/N: This is the Third Day of 12 Days of Christmas
Prompt â Getting lost at the mall
Merely a few days left until Christmas and neither your boyfriend Happy nor you had managed to get some real shopping for gifts done. Not that Happy was particularly fond of this gift-giving tradition, anyway. But you insisted on getting some for your SAMCRO family and dragged your boyfriend with you.
âAnd you really think itâs necessary for me to come with you?â Happy asked while getting into the driver seat of your car, âThe mall will be packed with people, Iâm not in the mood for that,â
âI need someone to carry the shopping bags, donât I?â You questioned and sat down in the passenger seat next to him. You had insisted on taking your car, since transporting your Christmas shopping with his bike would be impossible, âIt wonât take long, I promise,â
âSure,â Happy huffed and started the car, âWeâll see about that.â
The drive to the mall took longer than you had anticipated, with the highways already packed with people travelling back and forth for the holidays and some last-minute shopping.

Making a Mess (12 Days of Christmas)
Harry Potter x Reader
Summary: Molly Weasley lets you in on her famous caramel biscuit recipe and youâre happy to help. Though it seems like it might just be a setup for you to get some alone time with your crush Harry Potter. You knew Ron had brought you along for the holidays for a reason, but now he even told his mother about your crush on Harry?
A/N: This is the Fourth Day of 12 Days of Christmas
(Also I swapped the character out for this one spontaneously, I just thought Harry fit the prompt best.)
Prompt â Baking Cookies
âAnd now, weâll just add the butter and mix it all up,â Molly explained and quickly spoke a quiet charm to get the spoon to do his rounds in the bowl of dough.
You were standing next to her in the Burrowâs kitchen, intently listening to her instructions for her famous caramel biscuits. For days, Fred and George had been begging her to make this treat and she finally decided it was time. Since you were staying at the Weasleyâs this holiday, Molly used the chance to get some help in the kitchen and show you her recipe.
You were a childhood friend of Ron and had befriended the rest of the golden trio quite quickly as well. You were especially fond of Harry, and Ron never failed to tease you for your growing crush.
He had even gone so far as to invite you along for the holidays, just so you would get to spend them with Harry, who was also staying at the Burrow. Thankfully, Harry was oblivious to your feelings. You intended on keeping it that way since you were sure they were unrequited.
âAre you listening, Y/N?â Molly suddenly spoke up and pulled you out of your thoughts, âItâs really important not to over-mix the dough.â
âYes, I understand,â You quickly nodded, heat rushing to your cheeks as if she had caught you doing something wrong. It was so easy to get lost in your thoughts about Harry.
âOkay then, dear,â She narrowed your eyes at you and placed her hands on her hips, âSomething on your mind? A boy, maybe?â
âWhat?â You exclaimed, inwardly already damning Ron. Had he told her about your crush? âNo, of course not.â
âIf you say so.â Molly nodded, her hands still on her hips, âWeâll continue then. Now we just need to cut out the biscuits and stick them in the oven.â
âAlright,â You nodded, spotting a pile biscuit cutters in all different shapes on the counter next to you.
âIâll need to get back to knitting now so Iâll be finished before Christmas, but Iâm sure youâll manage this,â She explained before glancing outside the kitchen, seemingly looking for someone, âBut I guess you could still use some help. Harry, dear?â

A Special Thank You (12 Days of Christmas)
Juice Ortiz x Reader
Summary: While helping you wrap your Christmas gifts, your boyfriend Juice Ortiz surprises you with a special present of his own to show you his gratitude for everything youâve done for him.
A/N: This is the Sixth Day of 12 Days of Christmas
Prompt â Â Wrapping Presents
âGod, how many presents did you buy?â Juice exclaimed as soon as he stepped into the living room of the house you both shared.
He had been busy with the club lately and therefore you had been in charge of the Christmas shopping for this year. Now that you had piled all the gifts all up to wrap them, he could see the full extent of your shopping spree.
âJust enough,â You simply responded as you sat on the wooden floor in front of your TV, with packages spread all around you, âSAMCROâs a big family, I couldnât help it.â
âI guess youâre right about that,â Juice agreed with you, thinking about the chosen family you had found your way into as a couple. Since he had met you, the club felt more like home than ever.
âAre you just gonna stand there or will you help me with this?â You teased your boyfriend, gesturing to the wrapping paper next to you.
âHelp you, of course, baby,â Juice gave you a wide smile, happy about finally getting some quality time with you for the first time in days. He would do anything with you right now, it didnât matter at all whether it was something as mundane as gift wrapping.
He carefully stepped over the piles around the room and sat down next to you, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek as he got into position.
âLetâs just start with the big ones and then weâll go over to the smaller ones,â You instructed, grabbing the pair of scissors you had brought with you.
âYes, ma'am,â Juice sarcastically saluted you, the look in his still gentle even as he teased you.

A Special Thank You (12 Days of Christmas)

Summary: While helping you wrap your Christmas gifts, your boyfriend Juice Ortiz surprises you with a special present of his own to show you his gratitude for everything youâve done for him.
A/N: This is the Sixth Day of 12 Days of Christmas
Prompt â Â Wrapping Presents
"God, how many presents did you buy?" Juice exclaimed as soon as he stepped into the living room of the house you both shared.
He had been busy with the club lately and therefore you had been in charge of the Christmas shopping for this year. Now that you had piled all the gifts all up to wrap them, he could see the full extent of your shopping spree.
"Just enough," You simply responded as you sat on the wooden floor in front of your TV, with packages spread all around you, "SAMCRO's a big family, I couldn't help it."
"I guess you're right about that," Juice agreed with you, thinking about the chosen family you had found your way into as a couple. Since he had met you, the club felt more like home than ever.
"Are you just gonna stand there or will you help me with this?" You teased your boyfriend, gesturing to the wrapping paper next to you.

"Let's just start with the big ones and then we'll go over to the smaller ones," You instructed, grabbing the pair of scissors you had brought with you.
"Yes, ma'am," Juice sarcastically saluted you, the look in his still gentle even as he teased you.
You playfully rolled your eyes at him and quickly shoved a package to wrap in his lap, so he would be too busy to tease you further.
"I'll get to work asap, don't worry," He chuckled, proceeding to wait for you to cut a piece of wrapping paper for him.
It took more than half an hour for you to sort through the bigger gifts and wrap them up, with you adding a little handwritten card to each of it.
"You're so cheesy," Juice grinned at you but there was no doubt in your mind that he appreciated your gesture. He loved the way you fit right in with the club, how close you had grown to his brothers over the years.
"Is this for Jax?" He asked, holding up a leather-clad journal.
"He's been writing so much lately, I thought it'd fit," You nodded, "Do you think it's a bad idea?"
"It's perfect. Very thoughtful," Juice assured you, "Thank you for taking care of the shopping. I know I haven't been of much help with that,"
"You were busy, Juice. I didn't mind at all," You said truthfully, "I'm just glad we can spend some time together now,"
"Me too." Your boyfriend replied and leaned over for a quick, yet earnest kiss.
Both of you went back to your task after that and sometime later, everything you bought was wrapped up neatly in front of you.
"All done," You announced happily.
"There's still one present missing," Juice interjected, slipping his hand into the right pocket of his jeans. You didn't notice though and instead looked around the room, trying to find the present he was talking about.
"We have all wrapped, don't we?" You questioned with raised eyebrows and turned your gaze to him again.
"I might have an extra one," He smirked at you, pulling a small velvet pouch out of his pocket.
"Juice?" You questioned, your eyes falling to the pouch in his hands. He gave it to you.
"Let's just say it's an early Christmas gift for you," Juice explained gently, watching as you pulled the necklace he had picked out for you out of the bag. He could see your eyes glistening and a grateful smile forming on your face.
"You didn't have to-" You tried to argue but Juice didn't let you.
"You deserve it, baby." He whispered, "You took care of all this and even more than that each and every day. You're the best old lady I could have ever wished for,"
A tear rolled down your face but it was out of happiness.
"Thank you so much," You said quietly, in awe of the beautiful gesture.
"No, thank you," Juice answered and cupped your face with his hands. Slowly, he leaned in to kiss you, showing you exactly how grateful he was to have you.

A/N: This is the Fourth Day of 12 Days of Christmas
(Also I swapped the character out for this one spontaneously, I just thought Harry fit the prompt best.)
Prompt â Baking Cookies
"And now, we'll just add the butter and mix it all up," Molly explained and quickly spoke a quiet charm to get the spoon to do his rounds in the bowl of dough.
You were standing next to her in the Burrow's kitchen, intently listening to her instructions for her famous caramel biscuits. For days, Fred and George had been begging her to make this treat and she finally decided it was time. Since you were staying at the Weasley's this holiday, Molly used the chance to get some help in the kitchen and show you her recipe.
"Are you listening, Y/N?" Molly suddenly spoke up and pulled you out of your thoughts, "It's really important not to over-mix the dough."
"Yes, I understand," You quickly nodded, heat rushing to your cheeks as if she had caught you doing something wrong. It was so easy to get lost in your thoughts about Harry.

"Alright," You nodded, spotting a pile biscuit cutters in all different shapes on the counter next to you.
"I'll need to get back to knitting now so I'll be finished before Christmas, but I'm sure you'll manage this," She explained before glancing outside the kitchen, seemingly looking for someone, "But I guess you could still use some help. Harry, dear?"
You felt your stomach flutter when you heard her call out that name but desperately hoped he wouldn't hear her. Your crush always became painfully obvious whenever you were alone with Harry, you were sure even he would catch on one day.
"Yes?" Harry responded in a loud voice and came over to the kitchen instantly. Your eyes met briefly when he entered the room, and that alone sent shudders through your body.
"Would you be so kind and assist Y/N with the biscuits? I have some stuff to do and I'm sure all the others are busy, too."
You knew exactly that Fred, George and Ron were just lolling around the living room. She could have asked anyone else for help, this was certainly a setup. Harry didn't seem to notice or mind.
"Sure," He hastily exclaimed, "What do I have to do?"
Molly exited the room and left you to explain.
"We'll have to roll out the dough and cut out the biscuits," Your voice was weirdly shaky when you finally spoke up and you cleared your throat.
"Okay, I think we're able to do that," Harry nodded enthusiastically, which caused you to smile.
"Yeah, I'd like to think so." You laughed quietly and Harry came up to the counter beside you, his shoulder brushing lightly against yours.
You were suddenly painfully aware of the apron that Molly had dressed you in, fearing that you looked completely ridiculous.
"I think I could use one of those too," Harry suddenly pointed at the apron, as if he had sensed that you felt insecure in it, "Doubt I could make it look as cute as you do, though. I mean-" He stumbled over his words, but his intention made you grin. Did he just compliment you?
"Another one is over there," You showed him an apron that was draped over a nearby chair and Harry grabbed it immediately, pulling it over his head. He struggled with closing it behind his back for a moment. It was quite an adorable sight.
"Could you maybe-" He pointed to the loose strings, "Could you close it for me?"
"Yes, sure," You mumbled, quickly moving to stand behind him and grabbing the strings. Unintentionally, you ended up standing a bit closer than necessary to him. Harry didn't move away.
You quickly tied a knot into the strings and Harry turned around to gave you a thankful smile. Facing each other like this with barely a distance between the two of you, made your body freeze up.
For a moment, everything around you quietened down and it was just him looking deeply into your eyes. You didn't want to get lost in this fantasy.
With an abrupt movement, you stepped away from him and towards the counter again. Quickly, you took the dough out of the bowl and set it down on the counter. Getting back to the task ahead of you was a welcome distraction.
"Let's do this," You tried to sound nonchalant, but Harry looked confused due to your sudden movement.
"Okay, yes," He nodded, his face looking a bit reddened. He pushed his glasses further back onto his nose with his finger and then clapped his hands together, "Let's do this then." He echoed your words awkwardly.
Harry watched as you rolled the dough out, fiddling around with the biscuit cutters in front of him.
"Which cutter shape should we use?" You asked him, desperately attempting to make some conversation.
"I like the heart shape," Harry promptly said but struggled with his words when he tried to make up an explanation, "I mean- it's just.. a nice shape. Very Christmas-sy, I suppose. Festival of love and all that-"
"I like it, too." You responded simply, and a relieved smile began playing around Harry's lips, "I need some flour to roll it up properly, can you spread some on the counter?"
Harry gave you a nod, reaching out for the bag of flour and lifting it. Somehow, his hands managed to let it slip through and the bag fell out of his hand.
You coughed as you were engulfed in a cloud of white flour, the powder landing all over your apron as the bag fell over and onto the ground.
"Oh bloody- shit, I'm sorry Y/N," Harry quickly let out, squatting down instantly to grabbed the bag from the flour.
Once you stopped coughing, you laughed loudly. Both you and he looked like a complete mess, with dough sticking to your fingers and flour all over you.
Harry joined your laughter, relieved that you weren't angry at all with him.
"It's fine, don't worry," You assured him but Harry still ran a hand through his hair awkwardly. You could only watch as the white flour found his way from his hand onto his head and stuck to his dark hair.
"Wait," You tried to bring his attention to the mess he was making of his hair, "You've got something there,"
"Oh no," Harry looked at his fingers and then turned his eyes up to his head, realising what he had done.
"If you let me, I can help you with that," You said, completely ignoring the fact that your clothes were still completely covered in flour as well.
"Please," Harry murmured and gave the smallest nod.
After stepping over to the kitchen sink and quickly cleaning up your hands with some water, you went over to him again.
Slowly, you lifted your hands to his head and let them run through his hair. You weren't sure what had given you the sudden courage to act this boldly. Maybe it was the fact that you could just claim you were helping him get rid of the mess, instead of this just being blatant flirting.
Harry's eyes fell close as soon as you touched his hair and he lifted his hands, ever so softly wrapping them around your wrists to keep you in place. The atmosphere in the room seemed to have shifted, and Harry's soft breathing, as well as the heat radiation off his body, were the only things that filled up your senses.
"Y/N.." Harry whispered, opening his eyes and looking into your deeply. Your fingers came to rest in the nape of his neck and his hands wrapped gently around your wrist kept them there for a moment.
Then, Harry released his grip on you and moved his arms downwards. Your heart stopped when he placed them on your hips.
"Harry?" You asked ever so quietly.
The boy in front of you didn't answer. Instead, he just dipped his head low and let his lips meet yours.
Your mind went blank as he kissed you. There was nothing left for you to do, besides reciprocating his kiss.
You didn't know how much time had passed when you both pulled away from each other, but it somehow felt like both an eternity and just a few seconds at the same time.
"We still have to clean this up, I suppose," Harry chuckled but still tightened his arms around your waist with no intention of letting go anytime soon.
"And get those biscuits ready," You added with a grin, wrapping your arms around his neck.
"We'll get to that in due time," Harry murmured before leaning in for another heartfelt kiss.

A/N: This is the Third Day of 12 Days of Christmas

Merely a few days left until Christmas and neither your boyfriend Happy nor you had managed to get some real shopping for gifts done. Not that Happy was particularly fond of this gift-giving tradition, anyway. But you insisted on getting some for your SAMCRO family and dragged your boyfriend with you.
"And you really think it's necessary for me to come with you?" Happy asked while getting into the driver seat of your car, "The mall will be packed with people, I'm not in the mood for that,"
"I need someone to carry the shopping bags, don't I?" You questioned and sat down in the passenger seat next to him. You had insisted on taking your car, since transporting your Christmas shopping with his bike would be impossible, "It won't take long, I promise,"
"Sure," Happy huffed and started the car, "We'll see about that."
The drive to the mall took longer than you had anticipated, with the highways already packed with people travelling back and forth for the holidays and some last-minute shopping.
After a while, you finally arrived at your destination and made your way towards the entrance. Happy gripped your hand tightly as you walked to the first shop of the day, a perfumery where you hoped to find a gift for Gemma. He didn't want to lose you in the crowd wandering through the mall.
"You think it's necessary to buy such an expensive perfume for her?" Happy asked as you looked through the huge assortment of women's scents in front of you, "Won't some drugstore shit do? No one can tell the difference,"
"No, that won't do," You insisted, holding a Lancome fragrance in your hand and inspecting it, "She's done a lot for me and the club, I want to give her a nice gift,"
You had grown close to Gemma over the last years, ever since Happy had first introduced you as his girlfriend. She took you under her wing and showed you the ropes of the MC life, and you would always be thankful for that.
"Drugstore perfume is also nice," Happy rebutted, shrugging his shoulders. This man would never let go of his frugal ways, you had learned that by now.
"Sure it is. But I've worked hard all year, I can afford it," You explained and added sarcastically, "Don't worry Hap, I won't ask you for a dime for these gifts."
"I can chip in, darling," Your boyfriend responded, "As long as you're buying financially responsible gifts. You know I'm saving up for something."
You couldn't help but laugh, you were used to this kind of behaviour from him and found it nothing but amusing. You knew his frugality was so ingrained in his personality, there was no changing it now. But over the last weeks, it had worsened somehow. Happy was always mentioning saving up for something but had never really told you what for. It was probably just for some tuning on his bike, you had figured.
"Look, baby," You began, realizing the shopping would go by quicker if you got rid of him for a few minutes, "I'm not gonna have this discussion with you with every gift I'm buying today. Why don't you just wait outside until I'm ready?"
"You sure you'll be fine by yourself?" Happy asked, looking around the crowded store filled with stressed-out people all over.
"Yeah, yeah," You insisted, putting the fragrance you had picked out for Gemma into your shopping bag, "I'll meet you outside this store in half an hour."
"Okay, babe." He gave your hand a tight squeeze, probably the most PDA he was capable of right now, Â and then left you in the store.
You let out a relieved sigh, knowing that the shopping could be done much quicker now. After paying for Gemma's perfume, you headed to the next store to get some more stuff.
You settled for a beautiful leather-clad journal for Jax, as he had been in the habit of writing lately. Then, you picked out a videogame for Juice and settled on a few bottles of their favourite liquor for most of the other MC members. Bobby had asked for some weed like usual, but you couldn't exactly get that at the mall. You'd have to ask your boyfriend to get hold of that later.
It wasn't usual for you to splash out on Christmas like this every year, but the past months had been particularly hard for everyone and you thought this was well-deserved.
About half an hour later, you arrived nearly on the dot at your meeting spot with Happy. But your boyfriend was nowhere to be seen. A few more minutes passed, and there was still no trace of him. Your eyes scanned through the crowds of people passing by you, looking for Happy's trademark grumpy look and his leather cut. Had he maybe already left?
Maybe it would be better to look for him instead of just standing there, but you didn't know where to start. He surely wouldn't be doing some shopping on his own, that much you thought. The only shops nearby were a toy store and a jewellery store, he wouldn't be in there, would he?
But you were proven wrong. A second later, Happy exited the jewellery store with a small bag in his hand. You meet his eyes and Happy seemed to quickly want to hide his bag.
"What have you got there?" You asked directly, way too curious about what he was trying to hide from you.
"Nothing." Happy replied a bit too quickly, and you narrowed your eyes at him.
"You sure?" You followed up with a smirk, trying to look behind his back where he was holding his shopping bag.
"It's a gift for my mom. Necklace or whatever, she asked for it." He shrugged, not sounding as nonchalant as he probably wanted to, "Let's just get out of here."
He took the bags you were holding in his hand, and let his smaller one slip into one of them.
"Fine, whatever you say, Hap," You followed him outside, and Happy didn't say much until you were back in your car.
"You can stop smirking now," Happy reminded you, "I don't know what you think I just bought, but I promise it's just a necklace for Mom. It was on sale."
"Okay, then. Can I see it?"
"What's that necklace got to do with you? You'll see it when I give it to her on Christmas." He started the car, visibly frustrated with your curiosity.
"Fine, baby." You laughed, and threw your hands up in surrender, "Geez, I'll leave it alone."
A few days later, on Christmas eve to be exact, you finally got to see what Happy had bought on that day in the mall. The thing he had been saving up for these last months.
Surrounded by all your friends and chosen family, Happy got on his knees and pulled out a small box. In it was the most gorgeous ring you had ever seen and of course you let him slip it onto your finger. Your loud yes echoed through the room and the applause and cheering of all your loved ones were deafening.
When it came to your proposal, even Happy couldn't be frugal.

It was the day before Christmas, and it certainly wasn't time for any gifts yet. Still, Molly came over to you with a neatly wrapped gift in her hands as soon as she spotted you.
"Oh Y/N, I'm glad you're both awake already. I thought it would be good to give this to you early so you could wear it in this cold," She handed you the package with a smile, and you opened it gratefully.
"Thank you, Molly," You grinned whole-heartedly at the woman in front of you as soon as you had opened it, holding up the knitted sweater with your initial on it that she had just gifted you, "It's so beautiful. But you really shouldn't have-"
"You're welcome, dear." Molly interrupted you gently, "You're part of the family now, of course I made you one too."
"Thanks so much," You had only been in a relationship with Fred since the beginning of the year, so the fact that she already welcomed you into the family meant a lot to you, "I'm sure it must have been a lot of effort."
"It's really not, Mum uses a charm to knit most of these sweaters-" Fred interrupted your conversation rudely, munching on his breakfast in between words.
"I'm sure it's still a lot of work," You interjected, and Molly backed you up in front of her son.
"Fred Weasley- I don't think I've taught you to be this rude to your mother," She scolded him, but Fred only grinned at her, "If you think it's that easy, why don't you try and make them next Christmas? For the whole family, of course-"
"Why wait till next year?" Fred prompted, seemingly enjoying to scolding looks you were both giving him and wanting to tease you further, "I can make one today and still have a relaxing Christmas,"
"I'd like to see you try." Molly huffed at her son, and you grinned at his cockiness.
"I'm sure Y/N could, too." He added, "We could even make it a competition."
"Don't try and pull me into this," You rebutted, even though you were quite sure that it was already too late for your refusal. Fred always managed to pull you into his pranks and ideas, which was part of why you liked him so much.
"Come on darling, are you that scared to lose?" Fred smirked at you, knowing that he could count on your competitive streak.
"What would the competition even be?" You questioned, your curiosity taking over.
"We'll both try and knit a sweater, with or without magic," Your boyfriend explained, "And whoever's sweater looks better by this evening, that person wins. The loser has to do the dishes over the Christmas days."
"That's a huge bet," You figured, knowing how many dishes would pile up just today with how many people were here, especially with the holiday feast would prepare.
"That's why it's fun," Fred shrugged his shoulders, "I already know you can't resist a competition like this, darling,"
"Fine, I'm in." You grinned at him, "Let's do this."
"You two really are quite a match," Molly said after having observed this interaction, and walked towards the kitchen with a laugh, "Knitting needles and wool are in the cupboard over there," She pointed out, before returning to the stove and continuing to cook.
Both Fred and you got up at the same time, rushing over to the cupboard to be the first to start on their sweater.
"I've got no time to lose," Fred playfully lifted you up just as you opened the cupboard, turning you away from it and letting you down on the ground again just so he could be the first to grab some utensils.
"You're an arse," You teased him, but your loving tone made it clear you didn't mean that. You grabbed some needles and wool after him and made your way over to the couch so you could figure this all out. You had heard Hermione use a charm to knit some hats for house-elves once before and you tried your best to remember it.
Meanwhile, Fred sat down at the dinner table again. He had seen his mother knit these sweaters lots of times before, surely it couldn't be that hard?
Both of you took your time to try to remember the exact charm, all while making sure the other didn't eavesdrop on you to get a clue.
You quietly muttered what you thought were the right words to your knitting needles, but they didn't move at all.
"How's it going over there?" Fred's voice called over to you.
"Perfectly," You lied, sounding as self-assured as possible, "I'll be finished in no time, I'm sure."
"Same over here," Fred returned your words, all while his needles weren't moving either.
It took both of you a bit more time until you finally remembered the charm, and even then things didn't go smoothly.
Almost an hour later, as most of the others had begun to wake up too, you had at least managed to get the knitting needles to start the sweater. You wondered how it was going for Fred, but you didn't have to question that for long.
"What are you trying to do there?" George had woken up as well and you could hear his deep morning voice coming from where Fred was, even as you sat on the couch.
"I'm competing with Y/N. We're trying to each make a sweater by tonight and have the best one win," You could hear Fred explaining, and you tell from his tone of voice that he was concentrating intently.
"That doesn't look anything like a sweater," George commented, and you couldn't contain a quiet laugh, "In fact, that doesn't look like anything at all, Fred."
"I'm working on it," You could hear Fred answer, "Watch and learn, George."
You laughed again and then decided it would be best to go back to concentrating on your own work.
By the time Molly called everyone together for lunch, you had only managed to knit one arm. Nevertheless, as you sat down next to Fred to eat, you were making sure to sound triumphant.
"You were right, this really is easier than I thought," You teased him, and Fred simply smiled at you.
"Exactly," He rebutted, "I feel the same." You didn't believe him at all, you were sure he hadn't managed to get further than you with his sweater.
After lunch, you immediately went back to your spot to knit. The others only laughed and shook their heads at both of your competitiveness, finding your contest rather amusing.
George, Ron and Harry even volunteered to be judges on your sweaters this evening, and you happily accepted them.
As the evening arrived, and you had finally finished your work. You had only been interrupted by some snack breaks, and eventually by Fred who had sneaked up to you to steal some kisses. You had hurriedly hidden your sweater then and hoped he hadn't caught a glimpse of your progress.
After dinner, it was time for the judging. The Weasley Family and Harry all gathered in the living room, which was already beautifully decorated for the upcoming holiday.
You went out of the room and quickly pulled over your self-made sweater. It was falling apart at some seams and looked way messier than any knitted fabric you had ever seen. But, it was a completed sweater. Somehow, at least.
As you stepped into the living room, and the others made a point of cheering for you loudly. Fred stepped into the room after you, and you saw what he had made for the first time.
His sweater was only holding together very loosely, and there was only a huge hole on the right side where an arm should have been. Fred had simply shoved his arm through the hole, with no fabric covering it up.
On his chest, there seemed to be some embroidered letters, but you couldn't tell what they said even as you squinted your eyes at it. It was even messier than his usual handwriting.
"What in the bloody hell have you tried to write on there?" Ron asked his brother, while Harry and George were still laughing at the missing arm.
"Isn't it obvious?" Fred grinned, and swung his uncovered arm around your shoulders to pull you close, "It says: Y/N+Fred."
"God, that's so cheesy," You teased him, trying to cover how touched you were by his sweet gesture.
"Oh, I know you like it, darling." He pressed a quick kiss to your cheek before letting go of you, turning around to reveal a drawn on heart on the back of his sweater that no one had noticed yet, "Even the judges have to admit that this is true fashion,"
Everyone laughed out loudly, and you felt your heart flutter at Fred's suaveness
"You don't even have a whole sweater," Harry laughed, "The embroidery's lovely, I suppose. But Y/N has my vote,"
"Good decision," You gave him a thumbs-up, and Fred mockingly huffed.
"I have to agree," Ron said, and George nodded as well, "Nice try, mate. But Y/N at least managed to make something that's wearable. She wins,"
"Thank you, thank you," You bowed down jokingly, "I'm honoured to win this contest,"
"Oh, come on," Fred remarked sarcastically, "You guys just don't have any taste. At least I showed my love with this sweater,"
"And it was very sweet," You turned to Fred, wrapping your arms around his torso, "But still, that doesn't change the fact that you'll be on dish duty all Christmas," You stuck your tongue out at him, and he rolled his eyes. He couldn't pretend to be mad for long though, and a grin quickly appeared on his face again.
You all shared another laugh at Fred's awful sweater and he joined in with some jokes about the practicality of a sweater with an armhole.
After the others had scattered around the house again, only Fred and you were left in the living room. You sat down on the couch and your boyfriend joined you, swinging his arms around your shoulders and pulling you against his chest.
"Just so you know, your sweater would have gotten my vote," You remarked gently, "The embroidery was a nice touch, I have to admit. It was quite romantic actually,"
"Only for you, love," Fred whispered and leaned down to kiss you softly.
Just as you wanted to kiss him back, he pulled away slightly so his lips were hovering over yours.
"You'll help me with the dishes, right?" He murmured against your mouth.
"Never." You teased and quickly closed the distance between your lips again to kiss him before he could have the chance to complain.
Of course, you ended up helping him, proudly wearing the sweater he had made. Turns out, a missing armhole really comes in handy when washing up.
