from the bottom of my heart, im thinking of your dad and wishing he recovers soon. as someone who also had a father figure battle with severe health issues, i know the pain you're feeling. theres nothing like seeing someone you love struggle long term. keeping him in my thoughts, and wishing the fastest, best possible recovery. all the love to your father, you and your family.

Helloooooo

Many of you have maybe been wondering what's happening on this blog and the person behind it (me), well, here is an update.

The past year, 2024, was very challenging in many ways. And I know many of you relate. We all carry our own weight.

The year ended even worse than it begun, a week before Christmas, my dad, who had been feeling sick for a long time, had to be taken to the hospital, where he still is. He had to undergo triple bypass surgery. Open heart surgery.

He is still in the ICU, he suffers complications. He struggled for a long time so his overall state is complicated. He is awake, aware, and today I visited and spoke to him. But he is going through a lot. And so am I, but that's secondary.

I just wanted to update you all and thank you for your incredible and continuing support since 2013. If you can spare a thought, a prayer, a spell, whatever you believe in, and direct it towards my dad and his recovery, I would deeply appreciate it. Don't send it my way, I'll be okay. I want him to be okay.

My dad is incredible. Soft-spoken, caring, loving. Send him whatever you can spare. Thank you if you read all of it.

But if you found hope in it I am overjoyed because these days it’s rare that people tell you about their hopes and wishes for you. I didn’t interact a lot with you back then but you had that big sister vibe that really comforted me when I found your blog back in the day.

It kinda gave me whiplash and a sense of “oh gosh what did I achieve since 2019?!” but whether we like it or not we all kept going in our lives and should be proud of ourself for still being around and having done our best. Cheers to seeing more of you! 🫶

You may not know how much this means to me in these times. But rest assured that you may have just saved my life a little bit. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate it 💚
