Full names and details of every man who was convicted of raping Gisèle Pelicot. The list includes 50 men who could be identified, besides Gisèle's husband, ranging in age from 27 to 74. Among them are a firefighter, a journalist, a nurse, a construction worker, and a prison guard. Most have families of their own, and only about half had previous convictions.

Every time i purchase a moderately expensive item the Karl Marx on my shoulder is like "For shame... you purchase yet another pair of jeans when you have 5 already at home, you despicable commodity fetishist? In my time, a man with five outfits would consider himself blessed beyond measure, and yet you want for more, while there are children starving in the world??" to which the second Karl Marx on my other shoulder says "Objection! Those 5 pairs of jeans all wildly uncomfortable or have holes in the ass, due to the decline of clothing quality driven by the fast fashion industry, unfortunately making this purchase a necessity... Plus, by purchasing a slightly more expensive pair of jeans from an independent brand, seeking quality over 'brand recognition', they are deliberately trying to avoid engaging in conspicuous consumption!" to which the third Karl Marx clinging to my back like that beetle from Doctor Who says "Remember, my friend; the less you eat, drink, buy books, go to the theatre or to balls, or to the pub, and the less you think, love, theorize, sing, paint, fence, etc., the more you will be able to save and the greater will become your treasure which neither moth nor rust will corrupt — your capital. Buy the jeans," to which I say "I don't know if any of you have actually read Karl Marx"

are you normal about disabled people. are you normal about visibly disabled people in public. are you normal about wheelchair users. can you treat them like people instead of obstacles. can you look them in the eye. can you say hi to a disabled person without making an awkward reference to their disability first thing. can you mention disabled people without acting like they're some rare endangered species. can you talk about disabled people without feeling pity, sadness, or grateful for your own life. can you open the door for a disabled person without making it a big deal. are you normal about disabled people

I will never get tired of how funny it is when people respond to the posts they don't like by turning it into blackout poetry. What sheer fucking splendour, grabbing something you loathe and then turning it into art as an expression of your utter disrespect and disregard of this person's stupid-ass opinions. It's not simply contempt, but an elaborate display of how little it matters to you.
What a way to show that you find this person so beneath your respect that you won't argue their stupid opinions, you won't even gracefully ignore them like you would politely and tactfully turn a blind eye to the embarrassing mishaps of some fool who doesn't know better. No, you choose to turn it into a plaything, making it your arts and crafts material.
The hilarious indignity of having someone pick up something you thought were bold and fine statements, the pinnacle of truth, and saying "this block of stupid text is as worthless as a rock, but allow me to carve it into art, so that it could perhaps be turned into something that possesses worth and beauty."

Halloween Reminders:
Discard any candy that has been Cursed
In the event that you are magically transformed into your costume, do not panic. It'll probably be pretty fun.
Discard any candy that looks at you funny.
In the event your soul is stolen, bummer. Try to enjoy your night anyway. Eat some candy. Honestly it's kinda like your appendix, you don't really use it as much as you'd think.
Discard any candy that speaks in ancient languages. That just can't be good.
Have fun! This world is a nightmare. Enjoy every chance for whimsy, whenever you can

So much of what society treats as a joke is just mocking disability. Their idea of lazy is a disabled person trying to survive, whether that be living with their parents as an adult or using pre prepared food. Cringe culture is based entirely around mocking neurodivergent people and their interests. Symptoms and characteristics of disability such as urgency issues, drooling, tremors, tics, strabismus and speech impediments are used as cheap punchlines.
In children’s tv shows disabled characters such as those with speech impediments are treated as a joke, with symptoms of disability being portrayed as synonymous to stupid.
This idea is being taught from a young age in the media and it’s engrained into our language and culture. This goes beyond jokes, it contributes to the alienation of people with disabilities.
Once you start noticing these things you realise how constant and normalised it is.
Reducing an entire person to a punchline is wrong. Using a disability symptom as an insult is wrong. It’s disturbing how normalised it is to not treat people with basic decency and respect.

Say it with me, kids, "I do not deserve this pain. I am in chronic pain due to forces outside of my control. I should not have to earn pain relief. I am good. I do not deserve to be shamed for my pain. It is not my fault."
