(In Kirwall) A Templar named Samson is completely denied lyrium for allowing a Mage to write to his loved one, the effects of which are withdrawal, loss of memory and/or function, and possibly death.

(In Kirkwall, 9:31-9:37) Templars use Tranquility to make the mage compliant (without a superior’s knowledge) or as punishment, even though Harrowed Mages by Chantry Law cannot be made Tranquil [Anders’ dialogue, DA2]

(In Kirkwall, 9:31-9:37) Templars rape Mages 

(In Kirkwall, 9:37) Despite having no trouble from Circle Mages, but rather outside Mages. The Right of Annulment was sent for and eventually called for by the Knight Commander herself (without Divine authorization) [Meredith dialogue, DA2]

(In Antiva, 3:09) The Right of Annulment was called to cover up the serial murders of Mages by a Templar (the Templar’s own murders reaching over a hundred mages)

(In Rivain, 9:40) While other Circles rebelled the Rivain Circle remained in order, however the Right of Annulment was called because the Mages had families and young women were trained as Seers (spirit mediums).

(9:40) The Templars left, because they felt the Chantry wasn’t being Hard Enough on Mages. [Asunder]

Mages used to be allowed to practice magic freely and honorably, when they accepted “proud” positions as “accessories” for nobles. [Vivienne, DA:I]

Solitary Isolation is used in at least 2 (Major) Circles as a punishment. [Asunder, Anders WoT]

Relationships of any kind are forbidden in all Circles for Mages. Templars are discouraged, but still given the allowance of families/family ties.

Without Warning Mages are trapped in a “room” with Demons and must outsmart or fight them to be allowed to live (A Harrowing).

The Rivain, Chasind, and Avvar have all found ways to prevent and possibly remove a demonic possession, but these are all considered to be “Hedge Magics” and less viable than instant death or Tranquility (the removal of a Fade connection and a person’s emotional center).

I decided to whip up this little visual helper really quickly since I noticed some writers struggling to appropriately name the parts of Cullen’s outfit. Here, I’ve offered some lore-friendly (and real-life armor) terms to use if you’re ever in need of an accurate word for a certain piece.

This is such an interesting dissection of a very common trope in writing female characters that I never really thought about before, but it’s so prevalent and so obvious and so fucking disgusting.

The bi mod you were all waiting for (at least I sure was).

The intent of this mod isn’t just to allow women to romance Morrigan and men to romance Alistair, it’s to add everything missing in these romances to make them as immersive as possible. Whenever there’s an opportunity to flirt with an npc that was gender restricted, I made it open for gay/bi wardens as well (cause let’s be real, the only gender restrictions were in favour of straight flirting). This involved a ton of dialogue and audio editing, along with constructing brand new dialogue.

What this mod includes:

Characters won’t misgender the Warden. This applies to every time the Warden’s relationship with Alistair or Morrigan is acknowledged.

Any gendered dialogue has been edited.

Added new banter for characters so that they’ll acknowledge the gay relationships.

Added jealousy dialogues for Alistair and Morrigan if the Warden is cheating on either of them with the other.

Women can do the dark ritual with Morrigan.

Women can marry Anora.

Men can marry Alistair.

Previously dude exlusive flirting options for Leliana are now open to women.

Removed unnecessary gender restrictions on the Warden’s dialogue options.

Any bugs that I encountered have been fixed.

Anytime someone talks about Dumbledore’s death, I always smile. He is literally my most hated character, and knowing that he died is cathartic for me. He was a manipulative POS who deserved every ounce of suffering from the ring he got after what he did to Harry, Sirius, Remus, Snape, and everyone else-all for the “greater good”. He never changed his mantra from the Grindlewald days, just shifted his opinion of “good” and kept on screwing everyone else over while making them think he was amazing.
