I wish you all could STOP WRITING MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS WHO SUPPOSED TO BE VERY NICE IN CANON, AS ABUSERS, R@PISTS AND TOXIC TO US READERS.

And STOP TRYING TO ACT "This is a fantasy and some people like it!!" NO, THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE. Who knows what it will do to other minors because they will ignore your "Minors DNI!" And read it anyway.

Come on, this is a generation where everyone could access the internet, even minors and kids could.

Please, YOU ALL WEREN'T LIKE THE DISGUSTING SIDE OF BOOKTOK, I wish our favorite characters can be realistic and still kind to us readers.

But anyway, PLEASE PUT TRIGGERS WARNING AND DISCLAIMERS THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT MIMICK THE FANTASY YOU WROTE.

hiya there! I just found your blog and saw requests were open :D could you write giyuu reacting to the reader confessing their feelings for him?? Maybe some time after the final battle is over and everyone’s trying to find a new normal(?) ~

so yes, our sweet, sweet water hashira and a confession

 I think either way, pre-final battle or not giyuu’d probably be a little awkward when receiving a confession just because, even now, he wouldn’t believe someone could actually harbor feelings for him

but after the final battle things are looking up and everybody’s doing the best they can, all things considered, including giyuu

sO now the time has come, you’ve recovered from most of your injuries, tanjiro’s been improving, and you haven’t been too preoccupied with him or caring for the others

after harboring feelings for your fellow (former) hashira for too long, you were ready to spill

hopefully he wouldn’t mind the near death experience being your push

your palms are a little sweaty as you sit down across from him, even when you try to smooth your clothes down with them

because communication wasn’t always his jam, giyuu had gotten pretty good at reading body language and notices the change from your normal behavior

eventually, after a bit of somewhat stinted small talk you decide to just get on with it

it’s not your greatest work but it gets the job done

to be honest, I think for a moment he’d kind of just???? sit there????

like not to be rude he’s just in a bit of shock 

so for a while giyuu watches silently as you go on and I’m not gonna lie, inside he’s probably freaking out like

oh my god???? they having feelings???? for me??

I don’t think it’d be like a complete “how would this happen” moment, just that he never thought you’d see him that way

and after all your word vomit the two of you sit in silence for a moment

you think that maybe, just maybe you shouldn’t have said anything, until you notice the light blush on his cheeks

boy oh boy does your heart go flying

when giyuu does try to speak up he kinda flounders, mouth opening and closing before he stops, takes a deep breath, and then speaks

it’s definitely not the smoothest thing he’s ever said, and he’s shaking a little, talking quietly enough you’re having a hard time hearing him

when he notices the confused, but still patient, look on your face he sighs and decides it’s now or never

taking the initiative, giyuu pulls you forward by your haori, lips meeting in a fairly sloppy way

not that you really cared

there’s maybe a second where you’re spooked, eyes wide, but you slowly melt into it, hands coming to rest over his where they’re gripping your haori and you smile before pulling away

you pull him into a hug, left hand settling itself in his still fairly new cut hair and breath a sigh of relief

considering who you two were, this went fairly well

you’d count this as a win
