today feels like a friday or a weekday off instead of a saturday. my boyfriend is working unfortunately so i'm on my own this weekend. that means productively restful time. i finished my critical thinking course a few weeks ago so i've moved on to crypto graphical studies. it's really itching my brain the right way which is helping affirm my choice to pursue network engineering. (just 1.5 more years of this shit and i'll graduate from undergrad (and hopefully be employable lol)!!)

i've also been diving back into my heathenry practice lately and it's been helping a lot to keep me balanced. my life has been nothing but grind and hustle for the past two years since i started uni back. doing my mediation, prayers, and offerings is so healing.

happy autism awareness day to all the girls who had “ friends” growing up who were actually bullying them . to the girls who always sat alone in the grass and wondered why nobody wanted to talk . to the girls who spoke to animals like they were listening . to the girls who created a little world in their room . to the girls who always felt ashamed for how deeply they love things and how passionately they enjoyed media . to the girls who covered their ears when they were overwhelmed by everything . to the girls who carrying a special thing around to feel safe . to the girls who never understood what they did wrong to feel so lonely . to the girls who were diagnosed later in life because they weren’t little boys who liked trains. you are so special and beautiful and you’re not worse for it, you love deeply and that is so wonderful please never try to push that down . 40 minutes researching grad schools

plus, i grabbed coffee with an old friend and spent time with my parents. a good day all-around!

University life can be pretty hard: one day you're on top of your game and the next day you're feeling so bad you don't even want to get out of bed. It's weird but it's also normal. It's part of the process. I remember during my bachelor days, whenever I had a bad day, I would think that I would never graduate, I would never achieve my dream of becoming an engineer. But now here I am, abroad, at the dream school doing a Master's Degree in what I love. Consistency is the only thing that will help us, so let's be consistent!
