“Yeah it is- I like to explore!” He smiles softly. “Maybe I can show you around.”

I nod a little, always enjoying exploring. I used to run around everywhere and find hiding places. I wonder where the hiding places are here?

Cole nods a little and takes a step back so he doesn’t overwhelm you. “Well uh- welcome to our home! I hope we can be friends.”

“‘S Big.” I say, about his home. It’s so big. And so nice. And so clean.

“Hi,” he says again. “I can’t believe I finally have a little sister!”

I study the little boy shyly, not really sure what to make of him. He seems nice.

A little boy comes running, grinning from ear to ear. “Hi daddy!”

“Hi buddy!” Chernan beams. “I have someone for you to meet. Czarina, this is your new brother Cole. Cole, this is your new sister Czarina.”

Cole gives you a wave. “Hi,” he says softly. “Nice to meet you.”

I kick a little as Chernan moves to set me down, then hide behind his leg, “hi.” I mumble.

“No bad men,” he promises. “Everyone here loves children.”

"Oh," I nod a little and then slightly turn my head so I can see the adults and the children.

"These are all your family," he tells you. "You won't ever have any problem with these people. Promise."

“No bad men?” I murmur into his shoulder.

He gently wipes your tears with his sleeve and kisses your cheek before starting to walk you toward his quarters again.

I shy into him more when I realize there’s actually a lot of people here. But they all look like this man.

“It’s just fine,” he promises. “No need to cry, my love.”

“No cry,” I sniffle again, wiping my face.

“Oh no it’s okay!” He assures you, showing you another. “Look! There’s plenty to go around!”

I sniffle back the tears and nod a little, “o-kay.”

“Those are roses!” He hums. “Very colorful and rich.”

I gently touch the flower again but panic when petals fall off, “uh oh.” I tear up.

He stops by the greenhouse room and gives you a smile as he points to the plants. “Isn’t this room pretty? Every Mando planet has one in its palace.”

“Ooo,” I coo and reach out to touch a flower, “pretty!”

“It’s okay,” he whispers. “They will all be nice to you, I promise.” He gives a nod to the guards and walks you inside, heading for his quarters.

“Big.” I say again, studying the building curiously. Growing up among concrete, it’s weird to see twisting vines and pretty trees everywhere.

“Yes it is,” he nods his agreement. “So… my little boy Cole is not much older than you. He is seven. I think you’ll like him a lot! At least I hope so, anyway.”

I hold the bear tighter as he walks off the ship, shying into him at the sight of people. I don’t trust people.

“Oh! Looks like we’re home,” he hums, “we have many friends that are looking forward to meeting you!”

I finish up my bread and my milk before leaning into him again, “big.” I say, studying the city.

Chernan laughs softly, "You like that huh? Here," he gathers some more butter and spreads it on your piece, "Try some more of it!"

I take another bite of my bread and let out a squeal, kicking my legs a bit. Oh it’s very good. The best thing I’ve ever had.

I look over as the ship jostles a little bit, autopilot bringing us into Ordo.

"It's called butter," he hums, "It's like... a very smooth topping that makes my bread soft and gives it some flavor. Do you wanna try?"

I lean in and take a little bite from his bread piece, immediately looking at him with wide eyes because it’s so good.

"Oh- no that's your piece," he smiles softly, grabbing his own, "I have plenty, see?"

I tilt my head in confusion as he spreads butter on his, “whut?”
