“The point of it wasn’t that she wasn’t your type, but my love. Young son of Zeus.” Even on such a grim topic a son of his brother could always be expected to think of only the beauty they saw, and how they saw it. “Perhaps the resemblance of yours and your fathers falling lays within the way you both hold the world. Zeus barely batted an eye at your sisters passing. Didn’t call for revenge, and he didn’t bat an eyelash when… my mourning turned to anger and the fate fell onto the mortals heads.”
“Your father’s actions speak loud. He’s self centered, prideful, a glutton for lust and such things.” A shake of the Gods head as light as the sigh that left his lips as Hades rested back against the throne of his realm. “No one can tell you if you are too much like your father, say for you, Apollo. If you think you’re to much like him then you’ll be the only one of us who can change that.”
☼ The young god only could find himself smiling at this prospect. “I suppose you are right. I can be who I choose to be. I don’t have to follow directly in his steps. Though even I know that if his rule was to fall, the reign would not pass to me. His banishment on you would lift and you and Poseidon would be first in lineage for this.”
Though whether or not this was true, he was not certain. He just had the feeling that it would not be him if both he and his step-mother fell from their place. Though he frowned after a moment, and after having a moment of silence, he did grant this; “I have knowledge of any and all written poems, though I kept close to the ones closest to home. Aunt Persephone loved you. And I know that. I’ve seen the writings myself. But I am also all knowing of future event.”
There was another pause before continuing. “-I foresaw things. I see all waking moments of my existence. I should have warned you. It would have been against my father, but I should have told you what he was planning of her. Hera may have had me sentenced to a century of mortality, gods know, gods all know. I know the right and the wrongs and yet I have failed. While all is twisted, we all are family...and we all should not be subjected to such ignorance.” He admitted, shaking his head.
Why was it that the young god felt so close to human emotion while the others had seemed to withheld from most? Was it the mortal’s pull to music, life, death and poetry? More importantly, the god questioned if it were more of a blessing or a dreaded curse?

“I’m doing okay. But in all honesty, pretty tired,” She puffed her cheeks up like a chipmunk in some goofy expression. “I’ve been running literally all day. I stopped to pet a cute dog, of course. But other than that, running nonstop! It’d be nice to slow down a bit.” The puffed cheeks turned into a pout, and Iris plopped herself onto the floor. No chair necessary.
This was business as usual for her. Letter after letter after letter, making sure Iris-messages were going through. As a minor goddess, she always felt like she was treading on delicate feet around the other gods– one misstep around the Olympians could be dangerous; she knew that from her own mythology. Apollo and Dionysus were fun, Artemis was calm, but Hermes was the only one she felt safe around.
Indeed, this was detectable in her eyes– she watched the god closely out of her side vision, all while putting on an excellent pretense of feeling carefree with loose posture. Usually, Iris was carefree, so playful and cheerful, but being around the Olympians made her a bit stressed.
“How’re you, then? The world of poetry treating you well? –Ha!”
☼ The god chuckled to himself. “Poetry, the sun upon so much more- I feel like I am going faster than Hermes himself with how little I see anyone else much less take the time to rest. I used to be nothing more than a ball of energy. Not to say I cannot still be. Ah, but I have had to slow down as I have started to listen to the mortals more carefully and transmit the oracles in timely manner.”
Came and went like headaches really, though, by the end of the day, he could at least be mostly satisfied with his work. “Hm, of reminds me.” He noted, assuring all of the paperwork was settled before standing- well over the little goddess’ head. While there was a cluttered mess of his “workspace”, he seemed to know where all was, and so took no time to pull out a small bundle of rolled scripture.
“I have predicted the mortal’s next century; do see that the worshipers of the highest praise find these, yes?” They loved to find hidden treasures, and with so he was sure that she would hide them quite easily. “They will preach the next oncomings as they find your hidings.” Some new, some old; droughts, storms among so much more.
“I am certain that may keep you busy for some time, no?”
#colourphone#Just normal god things treating archelogical finds and heavenly visions no more than a game of where's waldo

Hermes took a deep breath, crossed his arms over his chest and slightly leaned his head backwards. He knew straight from the first words which came from his brother’s mouth that this was going to be a long speech. The younger god really needed to gather all his focus that he wouldn’t be making unnecessary comments while Apollo was speaking, and a few times it was extremely hard which was probably able to tell from his facial expressions.

“Okay.. honestly, I have no idea how you went from this topic to Hera banishing you from the Olympus. Like, for real, aren’t you a bit melodramatic now?” the brunet male asked, and raised his eyebrows when he also slightly tilted his head. He needed to admit that it wasn’t he best idea but would it lead to Apollo being banished from Olympus? He hardly believed it. “And, if you, or we, get into trouble, just tell the truth that I am the one behind this idea. I’ll take all the blame.”
Getting in trouble was in his blood but so was also getting out of them. He was famous for the story where he stole Apollo’s cows but what he got as an punishment from that prank, as he wanted to call it instead of calling it a theft. He only needed to apologise and give his invention, the lyre, to him, and that was it. Of course he had been an infant back then but he also had been an infant who had kept insisting that he was innocent, and he had no idea his half-brother’s cows would be.
“If I wanted to do this with Athena, or with someone else, I would have asked them,” Hermes pointed out as for him, it was obvious that he wasn’t going to run between many people, just to find out which one them would like to do this with him. However, he sighed again, this time letting his shoulders fall a bit lower than they were before. “But okay, if you don’t want to do this, I’ll ask someone else. Artemis probably would do this, especially when she hears that you are too afraid to do it. At least she’ll get something to mock you for a while.” Was it low to use the possible sibling rivalry to get something what he wanted? Probably, but he known for his ability to trick people, and he was manipulative, not that he liked to mention about it to many people.
☼ “Hey, hey, I resent that. I am the king of bad ideas. Bros before hoes.” Though the god stopped. He did anything possibly to keep his sister from any man touching her. “Er- well, wait, Artemis isn’t...still. Point made.” He hoped.
“I just didn’t want to be harped by my step-mother because I hurt one of her precious babies. You have heard her rants. Pretty sure even uncle Hades can hear it in the underworld. Otherwise, if it’s a race against the chariot you want, then by all means, it’s not my funeral. I’m just driving, it’s the pegasi you are racing.”
Though this brought a smirk. “And if you can’t beat a few old horses, then dude, that’s a new low record.” Because beating highest points were seemingly easy for him. They always were. Though the mortals had created “video games”. He wondered if he could be beat in that. Not the highest priority.
The god stretched with a groan before hinting for his brother to join him. “Now I have to go on ahead and wake them up, then. Somedays I wonder when they will start to refuse the work after so many thousands of years.” He shrugged at the prospect. “-I am not doubting that Poseidon could not give me more, after all. God of the ocean, though most unknown to his love of horses. To wonder how much the mortals know of us.”

☼ “Eradicate the homes! Tear the families apart and weed out the weak!” The Romans had overthrown the Spartans with ease. The land was now conquered. The weak were to be killed with the soldiers of the land, and women and children separated from the rest. They would build even more of an army under powerful force labor, and those of power would become lower than slaves- and yet spared.
Why spare them? Knowledge, the riches; the intimidation that they were going to be able to cast to the rest of the planet. Though before all else; “Prepare a royal execution! The King of Sparta will live no longer!” The sun god was ruthless and unforgiving. Though the Prince, that was his alone to matter with. Sparta was no more. And for once, the god was pleased with his men and the efforts made.

The teen glanced up at her father, bright hues gazing at his features. They looked so unalike - aside from the eye color - one could hardly say they were father daughter. Yet they were - there was no doubt about it. As long as she knew, it was fine with her. If her friends ever met him, they wouldn’t believe it.
"The night is pretty,” she murmured in her own tongue. Never had she met her aunt, but hopefully one day she would. Same with the other gods and goddesses of Olympus. It wasn’t a big deal if she didn’t. There was no complaint from her, considering some stories she had managed to hear around camp.
Nozomi looked away and reached out to touch the nearest branch of a tree with her finger tips, stealing a leaf from its stem. The night was calm at the moment, which only meant one of two things: things were about to get worse, or it would stay calm, at the risk of suspence. Whichever was fine by her. Rubbing the leaf between her fingers, her pace slowed slightly as her gaze traveled towards the starry sky. “Have you ever thought if your roles were switched with Artemis - where you ruled the night instead?” It was an interesting concept, at least to her.
☼ “No, my dearest daughter. The night is exotic, alluring, awe-inspiring. However, I have a firm job as the Prince of my own father’s kingdom. And some things are not meant to be traded lightly. My dependence is for only your, and the rest of the mortals, with the rising sun. With no sun there is no food, and a banishment of human life. All living would become exiled.”
He smiled weakly. “There are very certain things that your aunt does that even I have a hard time understanding. Two sides to one coin as always said, and with it opposite personal views. I believe she is satisfied where she is; and whether she is of mine- well, that would be something to ask her yourself.” He was often reckless in view, creating chaos among peace. He did wonder what she really thought of him, sometimes. Though he doubted that she would have said anything, if there was anything bad at all.

;; Alright guys. I have to apologize.
I have not meant to be away so long. I am so glad to see that my numbers only rose in my absence. I just....feel like my Apollo does little to nothing on his characterization. I may keep him, I may not. I don’t know as of yet. I have not even been outside of a few fandoms lately. My active 8 blogs turned to 2, save of course check ins here and there. I will try again to remember to get on Apollo and try again to write him, though I fear that I am anything but a writer for Apollo, especially for the Percy Jackson fandom aside the general myth.
Things crumbled out of control here and for awhile I have been doubting since. I will be reading the bios and rules of the rps that have newly followed me: you are welcome here, and thank you all for your patience. And of course, please feel free to message me if there are any questions.

do you miss your mom?
☼ “Some may say no, others may say yes. A mother’s love is sometimes more powerful than anything else that we could create ourselves and yet at times goes unappreciated. Ah, I remember how my mother used to rub dirt from my face, or in other instances scold me when I had broken one of her many vases, but no less, she always seemed to stay around for me. And sometimes I never do quite enough in return.”
The god seemed to ponder, going silent for a beat. “Why, if a mother can love more than a child, then by certain, not even a father that I have been can even match it. I am quite certain, even at my worst, nothing will change that kind of commitment.”

I have accidentally set off airport bleepers at my local airport because I still have a titanium place in my head from some thankfully cured childhood cancer, which has been cleared for almost 4 years this next coming year, as of January 13.
I can sense weather pressure changes in headaches, which forces me awake with rain, sleep more with heavy snow and even seize up with tornado activity; as well as felt the pressure from an English hurricane all the way in the midwestern state of Minnesota, US.
I am currently getting a degree from Eastern Gateway Community College online from Ohio state for an Associate of the Arts, and plan to be finished with that in 2019, with an eventual transfer to a Bachelors degree in Creative writing. I have been writing for fun for over 10 years, and have been an accelerated reader for even longer, even dabbling a bit into the creative arts for music and theatre. I have been on Tumblr for almost 8 years, and have blogs in Disney, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Black Rock Shooter, LOTR, Star Wars as well as fandomless OCs and General Greek mythology, and am very likely welcome to interacting with various fandoms.
