Apart from all the beautiful songs and great songwriting, one of the things that I like the most about “Flicker” is that Niall has been challenging himself with two octave songs in which he goes from his lowest notes to his highest belts, and he has performed them live very decently. 

His range here is nothing we haven’t seen during his 1D era, but he has proved he can sing all the songs in his album, and I 200% prefer an artist that knows his limits to someone who shows an apparently amazing talent on studio but can’t replicate it on the stage.
