Angel Dust was an associate of the mafia, which means he was an errand boy and was only at most involved with drug deals. Though he would occasionally steal from them. In the end, he got caught, and was beaten and murdered. When he arrived in hell, he made quick work to make sure he wouldn’t ever be the underdog again. He isn't an overlord and doesn’t have a gang or anything, but he managed to get a big enough name for himself that people don’t bother him. He also always carries around a gun, and an annoyed attitude.

Husk is addicted to gambling, and in return has a lot of losses. He quickly got sick of losing and decided to cheat. It’s not like the casino wasn’t cheating first. Obviously, since hell is full of all sorts of people who’ve existed for a long time, he needed to find new and innovative ways to get away with cheating. He didn’t want to lose a hand, after all. Eventually, he got really good at inventing stuff, so even though it wasn’t really his passion, he started to make more stuff instead of gambling. (Not weapons though) Nowadays he’s known for being a menace because of all the tools he’s sold.

Alastor is a very powerful sinner and overlord. He has long since proven all that he is capable of. Nowadays, he’s gotten quite bored. Not even killing the people who choose to go against him (Vox) merely making fun of them now and then. He was discontent, but willing to accept that he would have to live like this now. Until he got this fantastic idea… To open a hotel geared toward rehabilitating sinners. It was a stupid idea (to him), and that’s what made it so funny! It was sure to be entertaining.

He basically owned some people through his contracts, from people who wanted to cling to life, even if their existence was in hell. But having to keep track of the people he controlled was annoying, so he only brought on 2 people. Nifty and Pentious. Now all he has to do is convince people to come join…

Also I know contracts in hell are now going to be concepts instead of souls,,, but I don't know what their deal would be because of that whoops

Niffty was an overlord. She rose to power thanks to the ease she could take down any target. She was hard to spot due to her short size, and merciless with her knives. Whether she was overconfident or just feeling crazy, one day she attacked Alasor… And lost. Right when she thought she was about to die, Alastor struck a “deal”with her. That was how ended up working for Alastor.

After Vaggie became a fallen angel, she was left without a weapon. And everybody knows how easy it is to die at the hands of hell’s residents. So she tried her best to seek shelter, and ended up in the hands of Val. She made a deal with him, selling her safety, so now if she breaks the contract (if it dissolves willingly by the contractor, then it’s fine) then she will never be safe again.

Charlie wants to be able to connect with the residents of the pride ring, but not really knowing how to do that, she settles for walking around instead. She’s not really in control of the ring (that would be her dad) so she can’t change the system at all, which frustrates her a lot. She was having a really bad day when she met Vaggie, and poured out her heart to her.

Vaggie at the time didn’t know this was the literal Princess of Hell, someone, as a former angel, she should despise with all her heart. No, at the time she was just a sinner who needed someone to talk to.

After this encounter, Charlie and Vaggie started meeting each other more and more. Each time, Vaggie unintentionally convinced Charlie that hell was unredeemable.

Charlie hasn’t given up on her people entirely, but doesn’t know how to argue with Vaggie. So lost a lot of her hope.
