I think toy doctors are so nice actually like i remember being a little heartbroken kid when one of my beloved stuffed animals got old and torn up and my mom just threw him out. And i know what it would have meant to me, to have someone lovingly stitch him back up instead so i could love him just a little longer. And I’m really glad there are little kids out there who get to see pictures of their stuffed animals and dolls with little fake hospital beds and casts as they “rest & heal” before returning to them good as new. Like what a sweet thing to do with your life.
#thinking about the time my mom stored my stuff animals in the garage#and did such a poor job of it that squirrels made their way into the bins and made nests#so I had to throw out one of my first/oldest build-a-bears (they were always what I did for my birthday)#and how I had to say goodbye to it standing next to a trash can#was I actively enjoying it while it was stored? no#would it have been nice to retire/donate/dispose of it on my own terms? absolutely#anyway…those stuffed animals may have souls and we should treat them with love and care

being a humanities major who’s friends with stem majors is so funny because you’ll ask your friends what they’re doing today and they’re like “UGH it’s so stressful i have to stabilize the reactor core for my nuclear power midterm and then i have to build the supercomputer from i have no mouth yet i must scream for my electrical engineering homework :/ what about you” and you’re like “oh well i have to read a fun little book and write an essay about gender.” and they still think you have it worse

No, I am not 'hoarding craft supplies.' I am sourcing materials for a very big project that will be revealed to me at a later date- perhaps in a dream.
