Then the waves take the words I wrote in the sand. Like I love you, I need you, I’ll see you again.

people really just walk into horror movies and expect them not to deal with uncomfortable things despite the genre being dedicated to discomfort.
i saw so many people complain that lisa frankenstein, a movie where one of the leads is famously a rotting corpse, was too gross for them. when i walked out of nosferatu, i heard people say that the nudity was uncalled for... in a vampire film. nudity? in MY gothic horror?! unheard of!
a LOT of people really need to accept that maybe some genres just aren't to their taste, idk. not every movie needs to be cookie-cutter clean. sexuality is a staple of gothic horror, if not the wider genre horror in General. you don't need to enjoy it, but it doesn't make these things uncalled for.

i love how whenever something gets popular the underground tormented avant garde bloggers start becoming self conscious of liking it/finding it funny, and it eventually evolves into aggression towards it. doesnt matter what it is. unrelated but i saw someone call isopods cringe today

something I learned in film class is that the camera makes people look as if they’re standing further apart than they actually are, leading actors to have to stand uncomfortably close to each other to make it appear natural on screen. so my question is how fucking close were you standing to jensen ackles misha

A recent convo I had about how Finnish people tend to hug way less than some other cultures do, made me wonder how common hugs actually are in different cultures. So, help a lad out and tell me when was the last time you were hugged? (like, properly, not one of those "blink and you miss it" one-arm-over-the shoulder deals).
Please choose the option closest to your situation.
(Also would be neat if folks would reblog and mention in tags where do they hail from, since that was sorta the point sparking this poll in the first place)

You can give yourself one genetic mutation and it is safe, effective, and cheap*. What are doing?
*i know that a lot of these aren’t just due to one gene but are a complex interplay of several genes, epigenetic factors, and environmental factors, but we are playing pretend here
