TWIGGY
Continuing with the fashion icons section, today we will talk about Twiggy, a model, singer and actress who became the role model for many women when it came to dressing with her appearance in the 60s, forming a revolution in aesthetics and trends of that time , she broke the canons of beauty inspired by women like Marilyn Monroe, showing a very thin body and a more androgynous appearance. A makeup style similar to that of dolls accompanied by miniskirts, high boots and colorful clothes were her personal hallmark and as a result she became the first Top model. Now that style so characteristic of her continues to leave its mark.

The little Black Dress
A Coco Chanel innovation in the 20th century, at this time it can be very common to have the typical black dress as a basic in our wardrobe and you will wonder why all the fuss about wearing a black dress, well, this in its time was a symbol in mourning until in 1926 a sketch by Coco of this mythical dress appears with some modifications, making it an elegant and timeless classic model for any woman that over time was used and styled by icons such as Audrey Hepburn.

Iconic women, who would be a better example if it is not Marilyn Monroe, a fashion icon, as well as an example woman for society, that brave and self-confident woman who always radiated light wherever she went, it was inevitable not to admire her with all that power and security that emanated. That woman who challenged stereotypes and the oppression of women with her daring and glamorous dresses but also with that elegant way of dressing in her daily life. If anything can be said, it is that this woman left us one of the best costumes in the cinema as well as great photos and magazine covers, clearly an icon of old Hollywood with those dresses so neat and impressive.
I could go on talking about her for hours and recount the deep admiration I feel for not only her style but her person but it would be too long so let's admire some of Marylin's outfits below.
Rest in peace dear Marilyn.
