Theory on Mei & ido backstory if you have any? :O

I have a theory on why they value money and earning it so much :3

They grew up with very few of it. In simple terms - poor. Viewing money as a means of survival and a bigger necessity than others viewed it.

The constant want/need of money is a security measure to make sure they don’t run out of it and end up in the same place they were when younger.

I feel this also adds to their many skill sets. The two most likely had to learn to care for themselves in various ways. Which includes cooking, cleaning, and protection. These go along with their jobs as maids, bodyguards, and assassins. Gaining the experience when younger.

Any shiki headcannons? ^_^

YES!!! The Shiki as a whole have not only like the dinner nights and stuff together but also movie nights and game nights!

Mashiro : He enjoys Frank Sinatra songs and his favorite type of candy is really anything caramel!

Elf : German, tanner, has a few more freckles

Isou : Cut his hair shorter and shorter over the years, not only to blend into styles over time, but also it kept getting in the way of newer and newer experiments.

Mei + Ido : Polish (forgot to mention on last post and pretty sure I stole this from you)

Ikkaku : He has electricity scars along his body due to using his ability and longer eyelashes than he has already

Kojiro : He uses a mobility aid due to his tail, chubby, rosy cheeks, super smooth skin despite not having a routine or such.

Kujaku : She hangs up newspaper clippings about her around her room like posters (nothing from the movie version of her though.) and more makeup

Fourth : Deeper eyebags

Manji : Floppier pointed ears, more piercings along ears, and he wears a fluffy hood like Zakuro when he sleeps due to his horns

Six : Paler with a kinda rosy nose (like he’s always sick)

Yakumo : Either Chinese or Japanese idk yet… those dots under his eyes are on his sides as well and spider bite piercings

Jin : She really enjoys cats and copies their behavior!

Tsu-in : She has different medical themed bows for each day of the week also ‘jelly’ like makeup if that makes sense

Natsumi : Bland taste buds and he has seven different piercings along his ears

Tauro : He spys on the other Shiki members as he didn’t quite trust them yet

Taura : Wears hand me downs from Kujaku and the two have tea times !

Hell : Knocks things (that he can touch) over like a cat

What’s your opinion on Mei & ido :D

I think they’re both really interesting characters! They have good and bad qualities that could easily lead to someone hating them or loving them. (Though I haven’t seen anyone in the fandom hate them so far)

I wanna learn a bit more about why they prioritize money so much and are willing to go to the extremes. Along with them meeting the Shiki.

I love their (mainly Mei’s but Ido contributed a bit too) dynamic with Tauro. Bounty Hunter x Assassin drinking buddies

They both act separately but also as one which I find neat! Honestly I like them even if they are considered antagonists and aren’t the best people - but who in Nanbaka really is that good of a person.

Fire is a naturally destructive thing. Thats why Musashi being in the building of peace is so important.

Musashi’s connection with fire runs deep like any togabjto. Including in their actions and mindset.

In the past Musashi grew from nonviolent to being violent back to nonviolent. Kinda like a fire. A fire starts off small before slowly getting bigger than withering out. Like Musashi’s anger.

He comes to peace with his situation and the past. Despite something that should be ingrained into him to be destructive and violent he isn’t.

And it’s not only the chip that prevented his powers for a while. Once he overrides that chip he still chooses to not be violent.

Turns out earrings make great tiny pin badges. Also I couldn’t think of a way to give him tattoos so I just painted an eye on his top

Figuring out how to give him roots took ages but he wasn’t to tricky apart from that, I think he turned out really cute. Agnes Montague next! 🔥
