Ignis saw the look of worry and it made his heart beat faster, was he acting weird, did Oliver realise? Was Oliver questionning their friendship in his head right now? Ignis tried to not overthink it knowing it wouldn't help, but his ADHD was only making it worse for him. His hands shakily lowered themselves to rest on his thighs.

"To bed? You want to take me to bed?"

The brunette didn't realise how wrong this sounded at first, but when he did his face turned bright red and he put his hand over his mouth.

"I mean- I- I'm not tired, it's okay."

He desperately tried to move on with the conversation, mentally slapping himself for talking in a weird way in front of his crush, Ignis really didn't want to ruin what they had.

Ignis blinked a couple of times, then gulped at the look Daphne gave him, he knew this wasn't anything good, so he sighed and reluctantly agreed, not wanting to start a whole argument for that.

"Okayy... But I AM fine, you don't need to worry about me"

He muttered, then looking at the food, he wanted to resist and not eat, because it would prove Daphne was right about him being tired and hungry. But he picked up a fork and took a bite, feeling strangely lighter then.

Ignis struggled to even keep his eyes opened, without mentionning he looked like he was about to pass out any minute now. He felt his hands touch the blond's and it sent a shiver down his spine, his cheeks reddened a little, what was he thinking? He couldn't fall in love with his best friend, it was stupid, and Oliver was probably into someone else anyways. It took him.a while to process what had just happened. He didn't even bother listening to the blond's words, Iggy just nodded hesitantly, completely starstruck by how close they were.

"Uh... I guess."

He attempted to detache their hands a little, trying to keep his distances so he wouldn't melt in a puddle here and now. The brunette hoped he didn't look too strange already.

Ignis was too focused to hear Charlie get in and jumped in place when she spooked him, he took a deep breath realising it was just her and smiled, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh- hey Watergirl!"

Ignis' eyes widened at the question and he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, not knowing what to answer, he stopped chewing the end of his glasses as asked and giggled slightly, putting them back on.

"Oh, yeah, i got the habbit from my dad, my bad. And i'm working on a motorcycle engine, I ate uhhh... This... morning?"

Ignis hesitated, not sure when he last ate something, he shrugged it off trying to change the topic.

Ignis went up to his desk, sitting back down as the chair creaked under his weight, it was an old chair, but Ignis was too lazy to repair it, and he didn't want to ruin it. He looked up at the blonde, wondering what he was thinking. His face was telling him that he was pretty worried, and Ignis squinted. The brunette put on a confident smile, trying his best to reassure Oliver and make him ignore the bags under his eyes.

"I took a break like... an hour ago, I'm good, Ollie, nothing to worry about"

Ignis lied, he hadn't taken a break since yesterday night, but he didn't want to admit it to Oliver. He then picked up a screwdriver, tinkering some bolts and screws with it on the unfinished mechanism, his body language was screaming for rest, but his mental state was determined to get this done, also it was for someone else, he couldn't mess it up. If he did the kid wouldn't trust him anymore, or worse, they would think he's not good enough, that's not an option.

Ignis stared up at Oliver, a little awkward still, the brunette didn't want to worry his friend more than he already was, it wasn't that bad if Ignis didn't eat... atleast to him it wasn't. Ignis then moved out of the way to let Oliver in slowly, he stared back at his project, sighing under his breath.

"I'm making an engine for the motorcycle of another kid here, it's a little tricky, but of course I'll be done in like what... two days? Maybe three"

Ignis shrugged then, as if it was no big deal, because it would be two days of ONLY working, no breaks, no resting, no sleep, ect... That was his thing, to tire himself to exhaustion. He also repressed his emotions, using humor to cover it up, he didn't understand how the blonde could tell so easily through his act, but it made his heart flutter a little.

Ignis didn't hear the knocking at first because he had headphones on, music kept him focused so it was almost necessary. But when he did heard a small background noise, he turned his head and looked at the door, getting someone was outside. He stood up, stretching his back, and then went to open the door. He looked up to see who it was and wasn't surprised to find Oliver standing there, Ignis raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Ollie? Whatcha doing here? Wait... is that soup?"

Ignis resisted the urge to lick his lips at the scent of soup right under his nose, he hadn't eat anything all day and his stomach was growling for some food, he choose to ignore that though, not wanting to worry his friend. It wasn't that big of a deal anyways, was it?

"You didn't have to bring food to me, you know"

The brunette then let out an awkward giggle, trying to deny and push away his hunger.
