#Repost @leah_jung with @repostapp. ・・・ My 45th magazine cover releases today and I feel especially proud of this collaboration with @MissyInkMagazine. The magazine is run by women and approaches everything with the intention of female empowerment. In almost seven years of modeling (and its various branch-offs) on a daily or weekly basis, I can't tell you how many jobs or meetings I can look back on and realize that I was not treated as an equal and not taken seriously. Pressuring models to be racier than they are comfortable with and\or inappropriate flirting with the girls they are "hiring" to represent their product often seems to be more important than the value that girl, as herself, brings to the project. It took me too long to realize this and sometimes it makes me hate modeling and want to discourage other girls from pursuing it. However, modeling with the right team is SO FUN and REWARDING and I encourage all you lovely ladies to submit to THIS magazine and their advertisers. The content is inspiring, quirky, and uplifting.
