Anyone has any idea of when exactly did the Jeju filming happen? Like based on their looks? Because I remember people on twitter claiming seeing Jikook in there around August 14th, and then people making assumptions that it had happened in late September instead, around Chuseok, because of Jimin's picture on Instagram around that time + TH's pictures.

But for some reason I think Jungkook said he'd been with his family in Busan? Or did I dream that up? Other than that, Jungkook schedule in September was INSANE.

(The trailers implied it was filmed in Autumn but the trailers also were misleading enough to hide a whole member so let's just say I believe nothing.)

So...Who then?

A BRIEF SYNOPSIS of WHO:

Jimin is searching for the girl he thinks is out there for him (one who he can give the world and more to). He can't understand why he hasn't found her. Who is his heart waiting for?

Clue: it's the person who literally falls into his path. This is the ONLY person for him - everyone else has walked away.

I have to confess... I didn't hear WHO as more than a generic pop song the first couple of times i listened. I was in my car driving home from work when i first listened, and then bustling around with domestic stuff as i listened a second time.

Its very unusual for me to be so casual and negligent with first listens but my head wasn't in the game. I didn't want to push it.

So I consciously put it aside until i could give it the attention it deserves.

I want to clearly state that if WHO was purely a fun and impersonal pop song i wouldn't be judging the song or Jimin for that. It's got a catchy tune and i enjoyed it, and I'm not expecting everything Jimin creates to speak to me personally.

Some things are just for fun and that's okay.

But I think there more to this song...

As with much of Jimin’s work, what seems simple on the surface is more complex when you dig a little deeper...

I watched the mv with the lyrics onscreen and my impression is forming (It's still basically a first impression though so i probably missed things)

What i notice, reading the lyrics as i listen, is that it's not the love song i first thought it was.

It's not a love song at all.

This song is all about about Jimin

and it's full of questions...

She's always on his mind, this woman he has yet to find. He thinks about her every day.

He's not telling us his standards are too high, or all the girls he likes are unavailable, or he never goes out to meet people.

He's telling us he's been searching but he hasn't even MET her yet.

Hes telling us he doesn't know why he hasn't found her.

((Why the insistence that it has to be a 'her'?

That's easy: because growing up in a hereronormative world, we are conditioned to believe we must find someone of the opposite sex to love. That's the default. If you believe - as i do - that Jimin struggled with his identity and that he didn't recognise his love for JK as ROMANTIC love until JK started returning his affection, then it makes sense that he believed he would (or should) fall in love with a girl. ))

But back to the song...

He tells us that he goes out and meets a lot of people:

But he still doesn't know who she might be.

HE'S NEVER MET HER...

"We've never met" he says it twice in succession. So he hasnt even met a girl he thinks COULD be the one?

If the sentence Jungkook and Jimin seem the closest I heard they enlisted together in the military said by some random dude on the internet is sending you into a meltdown mode it's time to take a break from the fandom because A. They did enlist together and currently are serving together in the military. And B. They are obviously extremely close if not the closest for making that joined decision. Any person who isn't even a fan of BTS can see that because that's just the normal conclusion to make when learning about this and people have every right to state their own personal opinion when reacting to moments. It's not that deep🤷‍♀️ and if is that deep for you it's time to ask yourself why

Wait let me put on my delulu hat for a minute: Jimin gave some of his furniture to his dad because he is moving into Jungkook's house that he is building after military service 😂

We all know that Jungkook bought a house in Itaewon a few years ago. That house was torn down and new construction started a few months ago. It is assumed that Jungkook is building a new house or building, actually and it will be ready this year. It is assumed that it is Jungkook's because that property has not been sold, not that it is known.

I started doing something like this yesterday but gave up halfway through, stormy is far more patient than I am 🙇 But if I may add

While true, this is said with the implication that he meant the same special forces Taehyung is joining and with Taehyung.

What JK said in the live 특전사 "[...]The service term lasts 4 years and 3 months in comparison with the usual 1 year and 9 months for a typical conscript in the regular army"

What TH is doing: 수방사 특임대 "[...]Many executives from special warfare /special mission units such as special forces or special operations regiments [the one JK mentioned wanting to join] are transferred here."

Both get translated the same and can apparently have some overlap but aren't the same thing. And again, even IF he had said the exact same place and the possibility had been on the table, nothing in here indicates he wouldn't have done it with the very same person he's doing it with right now.

"Jungkook has a song he always sings to Taehyung"

Taehyung did claim this during a live in October. He then proceeded to play this video from Jungkook's live months prior covering the song so it's not entirely clear to me if he was saying he really sings it to him or that he listens to his cover.

Jimin said Tae and JK share their music and everything and do not share it with the members.

This rings a bell as something that was indeed said very many years ago (about music they listen to, not their own) but I can't remember the context or where.

The issue with a lot of their narratives is many have some basis in reality but are so taken out of context that the meaning changes entirely, yet it allows them to fool people into believing they're true.

How do these people lie so much and honestly believe their ship is real Stormy? How many things are even correct here? As far as i can tell the only correct thing is that Jk said Tae listened to Seven first. Everything else is either a straight up lie, mistranslation or something taken out of context. These are the things that taekookers believe to be true and somehow jikookers are the jokers?

True! JK was the first to hear some of Tae's songs. And Tae did record A singular song at JKs house/studio. The whole album though wasn't mentioned specifically (but that might still be true) and only one song was recorded at JKs place I believe. Comes from JKs live and Tae's You Quiz interview

False! I think they just made that up. I did a little searching anyway, lol but yeah no....

"The members said Taekook will never separate"

False! The members made a fortune teller joke where one said "so you guys can never be apart then?" As a silly joke about the color shirts they were wearing. Proof here

False! The only thing said about JK was that he didn't like answering his phone and basically never did. Everything else was made up. From MBTI labs

And Tae wore an Morrissey/Oscar Wilde shirt (openly gay and put on trial for being gay) and JK wore a jacket with scripture about two men being jailed for their practices and one of which many people believe to be gay/queer coded and a shirt with references to Taylor Meed's poetry (openly gay and wrote for a gay newspaper). Idk what the rest of that was about though lol

True, they were in a luxury hotel and danced RUN BTS!

Lol but he still never said that, but he did say "I miss you" a lot, but that's not "I haven't seen him in weeks and months" lol Proof about the numbers here

False! Wasnt said anywhere by anyone, just an opinion from a shipper lol

False! They spent lots of time together, but this is just a shipper fighting other shippers.... No facts, no ship or friendship in BTS will ever be zero either
