the neptune waves

like the dream i once had in my youth

the ocean sits calmly, waiting for me there

along with the dark starry night and clouds that cuddled

smothering in the taste of the salt air


my feet touched the pale white sand, feeling its’ tranquillity

breathing in the heavy smoked poison of the pain

what i wouldn't give to be running circles around the star of acubens

or to trade lingering promises, with nothing to lose and nothing to gain

as i peaked beneath the trenches, a glimpse of spite and sadism peaked

the clutches of a hand so strong it could pierce through the head

and yet, love was just simply a human defect that God had created

it is but a glamor for unconventional living, to keep the humans fed
