Here’s a shoutout to all the people whose parents went through a divorce when they were at an age where they could process and understand what they were going through: you guys have it especially fucking rough. Backstory; my parents got divorced before I turned 2, and I have no recollection at all of us living under the same roof. In fact I was amazed at my friends, whose parents lived together. It was something that was so normal to me, it amazed me that some families all lived under the same roof. But hearing stories from people whose parents divorced while they were pre-teens or teenagers I’m so glad my parents got it over with while I was too young to really understand.
