Title: Fan Service

Description:

Ngern Anupart and August Vachiravit may look like the best celebrity pairing on Thai TV right now. But in reality... they hate each other to death. Nobody in public would know since Ngern Anupart is a master of Fan Service and August Vachiravit has to play along with it, that was their relationship, Fan Service relationship. But when a drunken August witnessed Ngern brutally dumped by his girlfriend, he just had to do something. Unknown to him, his intervention would change their relationship forever, as well as his relationship with his long time admirer, Beam Papangkorn.

Foreword:

Hey Everyone! I really hope you guys will enjoy the story, it's my first fanfic after a very long while and I only decided to write it because I happen to have some time on my hands for the moment, and because ngerngust are sexy together, just like Beam Papangkorn on his own, hehehehe. It's a light hearted fanfic with a lot of grammar mistakes, which I would like to apologize for in advance. There are many other characters to come as the story unflolds so please look forward to it! Bottom line, please do enjoy and leave a  comment if you like it so that I can better myself with it. Without further delays, ladies and gentlemen here is the first chapter of 'Fan Service'!

CHAPTER ONE - OF HATE, LOVE AND MISTAKES

If there was one thing that August Vachiravit hated the most in this world, it was an ability; an exceptional ability of a certain someone that was being displayed live on national television,

“So who do you think looks the handsomest today?”

“It’s August!” That certain someone answered, an answer August knew was going to be spout out as soon as the reporter asked the question. Now one must wonder, why in the world would anybody hate somebody for praising him? Was it because August was too arrogant that he despises compliments? Or was it because he was too humble? The answer was actually none of the above. It was not that there was anything wrong with compliments, August loved compliments, but he loved them with a pinch of sincerity, even if it was just a pinch. The reason why August hated being complimented in that particular occasion was because it came out of that certain someone’s mouth, it came out of his co-star, Ngern Anupart’s mouth. Why would a compliment towards August be different if Ngern said it? Simply because of one reason,

Ngern Anupart hated August Vachiravit and vice versa.

But if that were true, why would Ngern compliment August at all? Well it was because of this exceptional ability of Ngern’s that August called the EFSA, also known as the ‘Excellent Fan Service Ability’. This is an ability of Ngern that even August must admit defeat to, because Ngern Anupart was the master of Fan Service, to the point that, if there were ever an EFSA award, Ngern would win it, every single year, limitless time in a row.

It wasn’t that August hated fan service, he hated doing it with Ngern, well firstly because he hated Ngern, secondly because Ngern hated him even more and thirdly because everybody was completely fooled by Ngern’s EFSA. This is the ability that made Ngern so loved by their fans and so loved by their managers because it earned them a lot of money. It was an ability that kept the fans wanting more of the NgernGust fantasy. But in reality, things were very different. And when that interview ended, reality took over.

“August!” Ngern called out with a smile as he jogged towards August who was heading backstage after the interview. August slowed down and looked back at Ngern with an even bigger smile. They were after all still in public’s view.

“What is it?” August asked when Ngern finally caught up. Ngern placed his hand on August’s back just slightly above his derriere, a gesture that gets all the fans worked up. And still with the sweetest smile Ngern whispered closely in August’s ear,

“Next time, maybe you could compliment me back idiot? Because as you know, I’m tired of doing all the work in this job that makes you shit loads of money, get with the program asshole.” Ngern finished with a curse as usual and pulled away from August whilst gently caressing August’s cheek, followed by an expected squeal from the fans. August smiled gently in response and kept on walking as he looked down and silently under his breath uttered,

“Fucking retard.”

Yeah, they really fucking hated each other.

“!!**HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAPTAIN**!!” They all shouted together when Captain Chonlathorn entered the café with his girlfriend. It was a birthday surprise arranged by White Wo. Unlike Ngern and August, Captain and White were best friends in real life, so much so that at one point they even dated a set of twins together. That was why, when White Wo asked everyone to come to Captain’s surprise party, he wasn’t really asking, he was telling. And that was also why August could not make a good enough excuse not to attend the party that he knew Ngern was going to attend. So he went. He convinced himself that there are going to be a lot of people anyway and that once he gets drunk he won’t be able to tell them apart from each other anyway, so he went.

That, ladies and gentlemen, was August Vachiravit’s first big mistake of the day.

“Auugussssttt!” A slurred voice called out to August. Upon turning around to see the source, August saw a slightly unbalanced White Wo. “Broooo” White slurred again as he placed his hand around August’s shoulder. “Thanks for coming my man, I know you didn’t want to be here, but for being here anyway, I shall give you my greatest gratitude!”

“Shit White, you drunk already? Captain like… Just came…”

“Yeah man, I started early! Captain will understand, He knows me!” They both laughed as White tried to balance himself on August’s shoulder. “But see! You didn’t have to worry about a thing, I can’t even see Ngern anywhere, where is the motherfucker!?” White Wo looked around and walked away as he searched for Ngern in a dramatic walk.

“August!” Another voice called him out, a voice that sounded much more sober and strangely sexy to his ears, so once again he turned around to see the bearer of the voice.

“Beam!” August responded happily after seeing who it was. It was Beam Papangkorn, Ngern’s other co-star in his new movie. Beam was a good friend to August, Beam understood August when he complained about Ngern because Beam had to put up with Ngern himself, though not as long as August had to.

“How have you been Gust?” Beam asked as he gave August a warm hug.

“I’m good man, you?”

“Better now that I don’t have to deal with a certain someone everyday” Beam said earning a cute understanding laughter from August.

“I’m jealous! I have to deal with him even when we’re not filming anymore. It’s never ending!” August sighed.

“That’s alright, I’ll comfort you anytime you need me to, you know that right?” It was probably the tone or maybe even the mood of Beam’s voice that made August smiled sweetly and unconsciously when he answered,

“Yeah I do” August blushed slightly without knowing the reason why.

“Drinks on me?” Beam offered.

“I only drink shots though” August smirked

“Oh yeah?” Beam smiled at August’s cheeky-ness.

“Yeap, and only patrons or B52” August clarified earning a laughter from Beam.

“Wow Gust! Are you trying to make my task of getting you drunk a lot easier!” Beam blatantly flirted.

“Hah! That’s only if you don’t get drunk before I do, which is highly unlikely!” August challenged welcoming the flirtation.

That, honorable readers, was August Vachiravit’s second big mistake of the day.

“Okay! Challenge accepted!” Beam said as he shamelessly took August’s hand into his and dragged him to the bar.

“Two shots of coffee patron and two shots of B52 please!” Beam ordered as soon as they got to the bar.

“Woah! You’re ordering both of them off the bat!”

“I don’t want to make you choose, I would rather you have everything you want” Beam smirked sexily.

“What are you? Pick up lines bank!?”  August teased in return.

“Let’s drink!” Beam picked up the coffee patron shot and looked August in the eye. “And let’s have the greatest night we won’t ever remember!” Beam said as they toasted without realizing that their life was going to be turned upside down in a matter of hours, or to be exact in the next hour and twenty minutes.

After an hour and twenty minutes of heavy drinking, Beam finally gave in and announced August as the winner of their drinking competition. The twist was however, Beam was not drunk. Unknown to August, Beam was a champion drinker. It was a legacy of his dad and his cousins, who all forced him to drink in their crazy but warm family events. Besides, Beam wanted to make sure that he was going to be able to send August back home safely.

So did Beam have a real crush on August? The term ‘a real crush’ would be a total understatement. Beam took a liking in August from the very beginning of Lovesick the Series, but he did not know how to reach out to him. So one day when Beam was offered by a talent agency to audition for an upcoming boys love themed movie potentially involving Lovesick the Series casts including August, Beam took a leap of faith and auditioned. As expected, he got one of the lead roles. Why expected? Because let’s just face the real world for a minute and admit that Beam Papangkorn is so sexy he would be banned from entering high traffic cities for fear of him stopping traffic completely all together if you know what I mean… You really should know what I mean… Seriously.

Unfortunately however, Beam found out that August was not going to be involved in the movie at all, but instead, of all people, it had to be somebody he wanted to work with the least, Ngern Anupart. Nevertheless, his hard work was not all in vain, because through the movie Beam got to hang out with a lot of Lovesick casts and finally met August in a dinner gathering one night. Of all this hard work and determination, August had not the slightest idea. And the lovesick Beam Papangkorn did not mind that obliviousness at all, because it was not praises or comforting words that Beam wanted from August, All he wanted was August’s company, his caresses, his anger, his laughter… and maybe later, if it wasn’t too much to ask, a little bit of blow jobs now and then.

In contrast to the composed and sober Beam, August was a gorgeous mess. He was stumbling all over the place singing parts of Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ in all the wrong pitches. So when Beam had to go to the toilet, he had to take August to the outdoor swimming pool area near where the toilet was and sat him down on a bench.

“Wait here! I won’t be too long I promise! Don’t go anywhere!” Beam warned August.

“Yes please! I mean yes sir!” August slurred as he saluted Beam. Beam smiled and left for the toilet after making sure that August was somewhat in a stable position. But as soon as Beam left, trouble came. When he had somewhat a momentary clear vision, August saw two figures not too far from him. The two arguing as they were, even the drunk August could make that they were a couple. But when August decided to rub his eyes to get a clearer vision, he realized that it was his nemesis, Ngern and his hot girlfriend. “Who would have guessed, the perfect man is having a lover’s spit.” August scoffed joyfully as he slowly tried to get closer to catch a glimpse of the conversation.

“So let me ask you once again! What am I lacking?” Ngern half shouted, frustration clear in his voice.

“Let me tell you once again! Nothing in particular!” His girlfriend shouted back.

“Then why are you asking to break up?”

“Because I need something else in my life Ngern! We have been dating since we were thirteen! Back then we knew nothing, we are all grown up now, I need something new!”

“In other words, you are bored of me right!”

“In other words… yes! And I have been for a while but you just wouldn’t listen!”

“Is that why you cheated on me!?”

“Yes but still you wouldn’t take the hint, I mean I had to cheat on you a few times to get you to this point!” She cruelly retorted without any remorse, arrogance surrounding her. Ngern fell silent.

August hated Ngern, that was undisputed, but at that moment, even August wavered. She was so brutal she’d put Machiavelli to shame. The look on Ngern’s face was so devastated, was so helpless and vulnerable. He was not the Ngern that August knew, and somehow it made August angry.

“Okay” Ngern said helplessly, he was ready to give up. Couples break up all the time, she was right, they were young when they got together, it was silly of him to think they were going to be together forever. He really was ready to give up before their conversation started. But when she said that, he realized that she was not even sorry in the slightest, Ngern felt betrayed and senselessly spouted, “I’ve been bored of you too anyway!” He said changing his tone to one that was more of the Ngern that August knew, earning a surprised look from his girlfriend. Putting the best act in his entire acting career Ngern continued, “Oh don’t be so surprised sweetheart, I’m Ngern Anupart. I can cheat on you with somebody who is a thousand times prettier than you.” Ngern bluffed, trying his best to crush her ego like she crushed his heart. It was a convincing enough bluff, but he forgot a tiny fact, the fact that she had been his girlfriend for the last six years of his life and thus, he had to do better than that.

“Oh yeah?” She scoffed. “So you have been cheating on me Ngern?” She smirked. “Sure sure sure, with whom if I may ask?” She smugly asked.

“With…” Ngern stopped mid sentence, he didn’t know whose name to say.

“Don’t think by saying some random name I will be convinced babe, show me proof!” She challenged. “Oh but of course you can’t. Do you know why?” She moved a step closer towards him. “Because in this relationship Ngern, I’m the one who does the cheating, I’m the one in power!” and with that Ngern fell into another silence, only this time he was not sure he could recover from it like last time.

“Oh but you’re not!” A slurred voice came into the conversation and it was none other than the drunken August.

That, distinguished audience, was August Vachiravit’s third big mistake of the day.

“August?” Ngern was confused, since when was August there and what the hell is he doing? Was he drunk?

“Well well, if it isn’t your gay screen boyfriend!” Ngern’s girlfriend identified August.

“Well well, if it isn’t… whatever the fuck your name is, it’s not important since you are an insignificant waste of biomass” August retorted back slightly proud of his smartass comeback. Whilst all this was happening, Ngern couldn’t say anything, it was too much, he was too confused at what was happening, what was this idiot August trying to do? “Listen big head”

“AH!” She gasped at the insult.

“Ngern has been cheating on you alright!” August paused. He looked at Ngern briefly and said in a ridiculously victorious tone “with me! The great motherfucking August Vachiravit!” August’s declaration earned an even louder gasp from Ngern’s girlfriend and set of bulging eyeballs from Ngern. But before he could say anything his girlfiend shouted,

“Oh yeah! Well fuck if that was true, you would know my name!” She called him out.

“Oh yeah! Well fucking sorry if I don’t know you’re name but it’s my name he calls out when we make love not yours bitch!” August snapped back, Ngern’s girlfriend was horrified, Ngern was terrified.

“Oh yeah! Talk is all you can do is what I say! You can’t proof shit to me!” she shouted desperately.

“Oh yeah! Watch me!” August said as he turned to Ngern and forcibly pulled the dumb founded and vulnerable Ngern towards him, and before Ngern could even react, August’s soft lips were on his.

That, assembled spectators, was August Vachiravit’s final and biggest mistake of the day.

Because whilst he achieved his objective of getting Ngern’s girlfriend frustrated out of her mind, he also got Ngern both extremely surprised and extremely angry out of his mind. And most importantly, in the unseen distance watching silently everything that was happening, he got Beam Papangkorn completely and utterly heartbroken.
