Many Months Later...
So I have been writing. Not as much as I'd like, and certainly not on the projects I wanted to focus on for the year. But I have been writing. And I like what I've done.
Now to stick with it. Pray that I not get bored with it. And then some.

The days has been a blur for me. I do not remember when was the last time I properly sat down to plot, worldbuild or write for my projects. Whatever I have written, it's always during spare pockets of time.
It's been a tiring set of weeks; some good, some could be better. I've a lot to reflect on, outside of writing. But I really would like to just go back and exist for writing. For being creative. Those were good moments. I hope I can do more of those.

I don't seem to be in the mood for writing.
A problem, in my opinion.
Trying to see if reading books (not fanfic, I love them, but I feel like an exercise in liking new characters is needed as well) will get me out of my writing slump as much as it will get me out of my reading slump.
The last book I blazed through had been Silver Under Nightfall, before I stopped part way. Brain decided "well we know how this will go" about the romance subplot and the mystery subplot wasn't enough to get me back to it.
Seeing if a Tempest of Tea will do the trick. So far, loved the first chapter; not sure of the second. Oops.
Well, I have a stack of library books borrowed recently right in front of me. One of them has to kick me back into the gear right?
RIGHT?

Mmm... I can't tell if I've hit a creative wall again or if I'm just too tired to be creative.
...and as soon as I said that, I reminded myself of a fic fest project I had to undertake and was plotting for in the back of my mind these past few days. Lowkey. Though I'm still unsure what the plot or who the main characters of it will be, I do know I want it to be related to the light/dark academia themes.
Also, was very much reminded of this blog after scrolling and watching about ten journaling tiktok vids on my fyp XD

The original draft for this blog's first post ended up being a trauma dump so.... ehmm.... oops?
Well, let's see where this new first one takes us.
My bird app account of the same name is still up but I don't use it as much. It's more like a museum of collages, since the ficdom there enjoy making edits and posts for their fics there.
I supposed this space will be where I take down my thought process that comes with writing fics. Apparently, as in I only realised this after the original draft, I ramble a lot. And the way the bird app works doesn't exactly fit the style I go for.
