STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
Bokyung has become humble due to her training as an idol. It really brought her down to earth and has made her realize there are always ways to grow and improve. She has also adapted a skill for songwriting mostly as way to practice and explore her rapping. Not wanting to disappoint people Bokyung can become very determined to succeed when the time comes.
Weaknesses:
By nature Boyung is non-committal, a habit developed in her childhood. She finds it hard to stick to Lady’s strict schedule. Dance is also another weakness, Bokyung does not pick up choreography easily and it can often times affect her performance with her focusing more on the movement and less on singing. Criticism is a hard pill for Bokyung to swallow, so she is very sensitive to the hateful comment left by Lady antis which can have negative effects on her self esteem.
BIO&PERSONALITY:
The second born of a couple married for eight years previously, it seemed like Oh Bokyung was born into a happy home, prepared to raise and support her with loving arms. But with a father who she only really got to see a few times a month due to his job that forced him to travel and a mother stressed from a her full-time job and raising two children had put a strain on their relationship. And unlucky for Bokyung’s parents, she was born with a strong desire for attention. Thought her dad did shower her with affection when he was around, it was a moment that happened rarely. So the young Bokyung used the weapon of annoyance to attract the attention of her family. Her mother’s tiring workload cause her to come home exhausted without enough energy to deal with Bokyung’s irritating actions and an older brother who could simply careless. Bokyung soon abandoned this tactic and sought out other ways. Noticing how her mother would organize her schedule around her brother’s extracurricular activities, she started to ask her mom if she could join a activity herself. But when Bokyung still felt neglected she would quickly quit and turn to a new outlet. This went on for a few years until she eventually got tired of the cycle, now content with her school life she no longer need the approval of her parents, further distancing herself from them.
But then disaster struck, when Bokyung was in middle school plan for her family to relocate to Japan. She furious to say the least, first her parents ignored her and now they were taking her to a foreign land, aways from her friends, her home. In her anger Bokyung ignored the japanese language books her parents gave her, in denial the months before the trip which made the move much more difficult. Anger soon changed to fear, in a place alien to her with a language she hardly understood the once outgoing girl became reclusive. Bokyung then started to see music as a way to express herself. Thought some say math is the universal language, to her it was music. As her stay in Japan progressed, Bokyung begin to get used to her new life, making a few friend and started opening up. While in her second year of high some of her classmates asked her to help them with their korean while preparing for an audition for a korean entertainment agency. Bokyung was intrigued and started to do research about the topic. A spark ignited in her, now determined to become a singer. Bokyung signed up to audition for J-Soul Music. Her parents were against it at first, not wanting their child to be so far away from them, and knowing that Bokyung had the tendency to drop activities so they didn’t want her to sign into a contract and regret it. But having not seen their little girl that persistent in a long time, they gave in giving Bokyung their blessing, which didn’t really affect her as the relationship with her parents was very rocky and she didn’t really care about their opinion. After her nail biting audition Bokyung was accepted as a J-Soul music trainee and was sent on a plane back to Korea.
Contrary to Bokyung’s belief, trainee life was far from easy for her. The strict rules and training was very overwhelming to her. Living a pretty lax lifestyle before becoming a trainee, the constant surveillance and evaluations was a huge change. And to her surprise she didn’t feel relaxed as she thought she’d be. Though she was back home in Korea, Bokyung didn't have comfort and support of her family, something she never realized and missed. Not used to the criticism, she took every critique very personally so when her vocal training started to focus more on rap more than singing she became very self conscious of her voice. Bokyung soon started to form a love for rap after continuous practicing and fellow trainees introducing her to various rappers. It has become a still she is rather proud of and actively tries improve. After about two years of trainee Bokyung was set to be in the line up of Lady. This was probably the best news she had ever heard, finally that rough period of her life was over. Under the name Kat, Bokyung debuted as the lead rapper and sub-vocalist of J-Soul Music’s Lady.
As a child Bokyung was very lively and extroverted but this changed after the move to Japan this changed, becoming shy and closed off. Though she has gotten better with interaction not to the extent it was when she was young. Bokyung tries to channel her inner youth and show a bubbly persona, she can only really extend this to the stage and has a hard time keeping it up on camera. Though Rings know her to be pretty innocent and sometimes clueless, which is pretty true Bokyung in real life. She’s also known for being a jokester from bad corny jokes, to playing stupid pranks on her members. Bokyung still needs to get used to the idol life, but with each day she gets more comfortable, and hopes to be able to fully enjoy her life.

Once she decides on something she can’t stand to have it changed. Or when she doesn’t like something she will stay with her opinion. Baby hates it to wait and can be pretty impatient. Much to the dismay of others. But she just wants things to be done in an instant so why the need to wait? When Baby is close to someone or has a crush on someone she gets really jealous. Baby is even more bubbly and cutesy on camera then off camera. Off camera she tones it down a bit trying not to annoy everyone as well as stopping herself from running out of energy. Her fans love how cute Baby is and she enjoys to do even more aegyo for her fans. She prefers to hide her emotions on camera and only off camera she truly tells other people how she feels.Baby enjoys it when other people take care of her and she knows how to use that to her advantage. STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
Strengths: Chaewon, as the leader, works hard as she often feels that she lucky to have been given the spot. She is constantly trying to improve herself. She is also very lively, fun to be around, and easy to approach. She is a glass half full kind of person. Very determined when she has a goal to work towards.
Weaknesses: She has time management problems. Even though she works hard, she is very hard on herself. Especially with the criticism that Lady gets, she tends to take it personally. She also has a hard time speaking up for herself. Eventually, she’ll get the words out, but by then it might be too late. In the past she has been very gullible, so now she is reserved when trusting new people.
BIO/PERSONALITY:
The youngest in her family, Bang Chaewon lived in Seoul with her mother, stepfather, and two older step-sisters. Before all of this, Chaewon used to be an only child and lived a normal life in a city that bordered the capital, Incheon. She was a very happy child and some would say a little spoiled. But she was unaware of the fact that her parent’s marriage was struggling. Behind closed doors, they would constantly argue and fight one another but never showed this side to their young daughter. So it was a shock to her when her dad packed up and left the house. She was only 8 years old, so how could she really comprehend something so complex as a divorce? All she knew was that she wouldn’t be seeing her father as much as much as she wanted too. However, her dad was never really absent from her life as he could call often to keep in touch and make weekend visits from his new home in Busan.
Now that Chaewon and her mom were on their own, the started to struggle with money. Her mother would work overtime at a restaurant in Seoul to keep them afloat so she didn’t see her a lot. It was during these times that Chaewon had to preoccupy herself. She turned to reading to calm her active imagination and she was drawn to anything related to space. She didn’t know why she was so attracted to space but she just was. She would stay up late to look out her window, trying to find some stars in the sky. It was hard for a while with the small amounts of money that they would come by but it was still a comfortable life. It wasn’t until her mother meet a man at her job who would soon become her stepfather. Chaewon, being as close as she was to her father, didn’t take to well to having a new man trying to come into her life. But her mother had really fallen in love with this new man and within the year they were married. At eleven years old, Chaewon gained a new dad and two sisters and was moved into a new home in Seoul.
Adjusting to the new life was quite difficult. She never really knew how to interact with her sisters. They were older than her and of course they were very close to one another. Chaewon was a single child and was used to having all of the attention on her.. To her, her stepsisters seemed to be in a world of their own. Booth of the girls had their activities together including a YouTube channel that they shared. The would update frequently with vlogs and makeup videos. And when it came to her stepfather, she barely took heed to anything he said, despite the attempts that he made to be apart of her life. She already had a dad she didn’t need another one. The first year of their life together, Chaewon was definitely felt like an outsider in her new home.
It wasn’t until her stepfather suggested to his daughters that they add Chaewon to their YouTube channel. Of course Chaewon was against the idea entirely but her mother was very pushy and she caved in. The first time they recorded it was quite awkward, but as they continued to do videos together with the suggestion of their parents, all three of them started to loosen up and get closer to one another. Soon it was impossible to film a video without all three girls present. They also started to do covers of popular songs and this is where Chaewon would shine. The comments would always be sweet and encouraging and that would make her want to do singing videos. She even asked her mother to put her in music class where she learned the basics of singing and how to play the piano. This was the beginning of her love for music. As the girls got closer, she started to open up to her step dad. Her home life was easier but outside of the home she still seemed to struggle with making friends.
But when a group of girls approached Chaewon, she was beyond ecstatic. Sadly these girls weren’t as nice as they appeared at first and Chaewon was too gullible to see it at first. To hang out with them, Chaewon would steal from stores and treat other classmates like dirt. It wasn’t until they got in trouble and the other girls left Chaewon to take the blame, that she saw who they really were. She practically had to beg so that they would call the police or her parents. She had gotten away with a warning and she promised she’d never do anything like that again. However, her friends still hung around and followed her like a dark cloud. She had felt so hurt by them, people who she thought she could trust, that she started to become more reclusive. She wanted to tell them to get lost, but every time she tried they’d reminded her that they had proof of all the things she did. School had become hell for her, the only outlet being the videos she uploaded and reading the comments that encouraged to keep singing and try different music styles. She was contacted by J-Soul Music asking her to audition in a competition in the upcoming months. She won the audition and soon started her training 16. She was transferred to a school that was closer to the dorm building and it was a breath of fresh air for her. She was very dedicated to her training and practiced hard. It all paid off when she debuted as Lady’s leader and main vocalist.
Chaewon is practically the same person on and off screen. The only thing that people don’t see her for all that she is. Because of her very 4-D personality, people also tend to think she is quite the airhead but she isn’t. She is very smart and her past experiences made her very wary of people. But at the same time she doesn’t want that to taint her personality so she tries to give people the benefit of the doubt. She is really focused on bringing Lady to the level of her sunbaes and for people to see the talent that they posses. But something that is always nagging her in the back of her mind is that she is also worried that her past shenanigans are going to resurface in one way or another.

HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 165/47
TRAINING PERIOD: 7 years
INTERESTING FACTS: Rosie can speak fluent Korean and English. She can also speak basic Japanese and Chinese. She has multilingual parents that send her to learn different languages at a very young age. Rosie loves to dance and it’s hard to get her to stop once she starts dancing. She is the oldest member of the group and the member with the longest training period.
STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES: Strengths: +Logical + Dedicated +Friendly Rosie prefers to think about something before deciding on what to do. She prefers her logic over her heaer. Then she is extremly dedicated. Once she is into something she won’t stop until she happy with it. Also she is friendly. Welcoming everyone and smiling at them. It doesn’t matter who the person is. Weaknesses: -Chaotic -Moody -Pushy On the other side she is pretty chaotic. Her room is mostly a mess and you are better without giving her anything or she is going to probably loose it expect it really matters to her than she will take care of it. When she isn’t on stage. Rosie can be quite moody as well. Depending how her surroundings are or how someone is treating her she can get angry, sad or mad. Then she can also be quite pushy. Only thinking about her side of the stories expecting results right that moment which just doesn’t work.
BIO/PERSONALITY:
Rosalind was born and raised in New Zeeland. As her parents had to travel a lot thanks to their work Rosalind learnt quickly to adapt to new languages at a young age. The longest time she spend in a country before going to Korea to become an idol was 1 year and a half. As her parents still had to travel Rosie lived with her grandparents. The first years of training were fun. She enjoyed being challenged every day. Getting better and improving steadily. But over time it became harder and harder for Rosie as she started to loose confidence from time to time comparing herself to other trainees. Which made her feel worried going to the company every day. Without her her grandparents she would have given up during that time. In the end it was all worth it though. As her company revealed to her she was going to debut in a girl group. Once she met the other girls Rosie quickly realised that she was the oldest of them all but that didn’t change the fact that she got along with them all. Having trained for the longest she felt the pressure to actually make it. Once SWEETHEART debuted the time went by so fast and at the moment Rosie is really happy about the success her group gets.
Rosie is mostly a happy person. She likes to smile and it happens rarely that you find her without a smile on her face. She is friendly on camera and likes to talk to a lot. Her fans ‘Sweeties’ love her for that. She takes care of her members and is the last one to leave the stage after a performance making sure all her members leave the stage safely. The same is the other way around. Rosie gets on stage last making sure everyone is on stage. Off camera Rosie is taking care of her members as well but she is glad not to be the leader as she fears the responsibility of it all. As the oldest member of SWEETHEART Rosie does takes her responsibilities seriously and her members know that they can depend on her. Even though she has a outgoing personality Rosie prefers to stay inside during her free time. She doesn’t need to go out after all the stressful schedules expect she feels like she needs to get some fresh air.

MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM: Lim Nayoung
NAME/STAGENAME: Kim Young-ah/Willemijn Kooiman
BIRTHDATE/AGE: 18, her birthday is the 11th of December, 1998
COMPANY/POSITION: Crystal Media
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 172 cm, 55 kg
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: Young-ah entered the company in September 2012.
INTERESTING FACTS: Young-ah is the daughter of two adopted Koreans living in the Netherlands, which made Dutch her mother tongue. Her favorite dog is the Samoyed.
STRENGTHS:
Singing, Young-ah is a very talented singer, her lower register is very developed. She is not a strong belter but she manages to surprise with her head voice! Her surprising performances in trot were the reason she got accepted into Crystal Media, and are something to look forward to.
Composing, being a skilled pianist, she took interest in writing music when she entered the company. She has been working on some songs and hopes to one day produce music for artists, maybe even her own group…?
English, as Young-ah’s native language is Dutch, English came almost naturally to her. She has successfully taken the Cambridge Proficiency test. She is known to help the other trainees with their English studies and keeps improving them and herself every day.
WEAKNESSES:
Korean, Young-ah started learning Korean when she entered the company, but she keeps having a hard time with the language. Recently, she has started to take more intensive courses, as her level is only intermediate and she has a hard time understanding the staff.
Rapping, her pronunciation is lacking, which makes rapping really hard. She isn’t sure if her inability to rap has made her chance at debuting nonexistent, so instead of extra vocal training, she now follows extra courses of rap to make her a more rounded idol someday.
Charm, her face is seems to show no emotion. While performing, this is not neat. How explosive her dancing might be, or how emotional her voice may sound, her face can’t seem to change from a neutral stance. This is a deal breaking quality, and in order to debut, she should really work on her expressions.
BIO/Personality:
Born in the Netherlands to two adopted Koreans, Willemijn, whose Korean name is Young-ah, has been an outlier in her early years. Not really fitting into the “Korean” standard, if there even was one, but also not really being “Dutch” either, she had identity problems for as long as she could remember. Being different from her classmates made making friends not much easier.
Her love for music bloomed, though, as she could spend her time creating songs. She would always dream of becoming a singer of some kind and started doing urban dance when she was around 7 years old. When she was 11, she found out about Girls’ Generation through their song “Gee”. The fact that they were Korean and in the entertainment industry opened a new door for Willemijn. She started training her voice more and more and so that she could maybe one day be like them too. Two years later, when her family pays a visit to Korea during the summer, she has enough courage to ask her parents to audition for an entertainment company. Her parents believe in her dream, and let her audition. After performing both English and Dutch songs during an open audition, the people surveying ask her if she can also sing a Korean song. Only knowing one by heart, the trot song her parents play every now and then, she starts singing. She surprised the staff and was accepted into the company soon after.
Moving to Korea wasn’t easy. Making friends when she doesn’t speak their language is hard, almost impossible, and as she entered one of the, if not the most, competitive company out there in the industry. Her helpful nature, however, when it came to teaching English, made her a few friends. She hopes to one day debut with them.
Training is hard. While the singing goes just fine, her lacking Korean gets in the way a lot of the times. The dance training is tiring, as she expected, but the worst is rap. Not understanding a lot, not being able to pronounce the words the right way and fast enough, and not being able to write her own lines really makes her one of the worst when it comes to rap. These hardships made her hard on herself, resulting in lack of sleep and just passing grades. But it’s nothing she can’t handle.
Young-ah is a helpful girl. At first most people don’t know how she feels as her face is not really expressive, but as she is known around the company as someone who will help you and is seen as a mentor to many trainees, her expression is not a problem. Outside of the company, this is more of a problem. Online forums have picked up on this trainee and the staff has seen it too. Young-ah is too determined and focused to care about the comments and is working on her expressions now too.

When she’s very close to someone Scarlett shows a more humorous and fun side. She does take pride in being professional while working however. She’s always polite to staff, trainees, and elders, and takes criticism with stride. Music is her life and she couldn’t imagine living without it. She loves the rhythm she feels in her when she sings and raps.

it starts off in a hospital located in seoul, where parents from the upper class are blessed with a beautiful baby girl. father, an active businessman in the tech industry. mother – a fiercely revered supermodel, it was only natural for bae hanuel to grow successful in their wake. dance lessons, vocal lessons, her music career begins at the tender age of 10, where she becomes the shiny new toy to observe and speculate by curious neitzens on public forums. barely accustomed to the spotlight, often the child actress to star in television shows and the like, which in turn, earns her the nickname of ‘little hanuel’ across several magazine outlets. some would call it exploitation, she never truly had a chance to relive childhood, but she grew up already a big name in the industry, well-aware of its negative effects. of course, it goes without saying that her experiences helped shaped who she is, none of which are publicly acknowledged due to many rumours following her trainee stage to tarnish her near-perfect image. and it’s still gossiped about to this day among neitzens on public forums. among her lineage, she was the embodiment. auditioned for j-soul music – though she didn’t need to with his credentials, passed with flying colours, and trained for three years before she debuted. to many, she is known as LADY’s lead dancer, and affectionately, the aegyo machine of the group. many of her fanbase believe she worked through blood, sweat & tears to be in the place she is right now. others say she received special treatment due to the nature of her upbringing. either way, the path from childhood star to idol was paved out before her.
in a personal interview, the member of LADY described how her dream of becoming a dancer successfully catapulted her fame since the beginning of her music career. ‘ever since i was a child, i’d always wanted to dance,’ she said, smiling. ‘it wasn’t until my parents divorced that i discovered dancing was the key to my happiness. dancing got me through their divorce, and my confidence built enough for me to audition into j-soul music. but before that, i was into ballet.’ she describes her ballet teacher, and how she would always work very hard to please everyone in the studio, although her habit of pushing herself has not wavered until now. ‘i used to practise a lot by myself to the point where i would forget to eat… the members have told me that isn’t healthy, so i have gotten used to setting an alarm to remind myself to have lunch.’
aside from dancing, hanuel also liked to sleep, so much so she gets called the ‘sleepiest’ member of LADY. ‘seriously, i sleep a lot… i wake up around 2pm, sometimes even 3pm. on my days off, i practise with the members and practise by myself. it’s not all bad because i still manage to juggle all these things, and still find time to go hang out with my unnies.’ she also adds she doesn’t have a sleeping schedule, as she cannot maintain one especially when promoting for an album. when asked what her new year’s resolution is, she answered with strengthening her vocal skills. ‘because i’m always finding myself in awe of my unnies, i want to be worthy enough when singing next to them. and of course, i want to find time to dance often.’ needless to say, LADY’s fans better except to see a stronger side of their passionate dancer, one that will be sure to capture the hearts of both rings and non-fans alike.
PERSONALITY
all in all, hanuel is not one to shy away from cameras. she’s an open book, a girl that both empowers the duality between a caring dongsaeng and a fiery flame. despite few neitzens who have found a way to badmouth the dancer both on forums and on her social media accounts, the bubbly personality she’s had since debut does not seem to have diminished from her character. her thirst to do great and an ambitious streak best seen in an olympian, she knows what she wants, willing to do the most to achieve her goals. it’s no secret that her upbringing had helped shaped the person she is today, but such success has not simply fallen into her lap. her passion for dancing has been acknowledged by the ceo himself, and various seniors have commented on her unique movement on stage.
she does an amazing job in coming across charming to the public, but anyone that knows her more personally behind the scenes are aware of her bad habits. using manipulation disguised as aeygo is a skill more seen in people like hanuel who have grown up in a world where she was centre focused, and in earning the position of lead dancer amongst one of the biggest popular girl groups in kpop merely inflated that strive for perfection. occasionally, pann articles showcase real examples of bae hanuel, with rumours and inside information, but rings are quick with damage control. every few months, forums become loaded with articles saying she is merely just a pretty face for fans to admire, and that her talents are overrated at best.
j-soul gave her the personality of cute, innocent girl upon debut, but strong and unpredictable, she plays up her persona whenever cameras are rolling, always aware that the public see her as a role model for young girls to look up to. in a way, she almost feels like she’s bound to her idol personality so much she considers them to be separate personas, comments on how fans are getting mixed doses of the idol hanuel and the real hanuel on and off stage.

NAME/STAGENAME: Jung Sung Hwa / Star
BIRTHDATE&AGE: November 6, 1996 / 20
COMPANY&POSITION:Main Rapper and Sub-Vocalist of Lady
HEIGHT&WEIGHT: 163cm & 43kg
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: trained for 5 years, since 2010
INTERESTING FACTS: Since a young child Sung Hwa did ballet, but never really went anywhere it. Because of it though, her parents began calling their star, thus where her stage name was born. She's known for having a resting bitch face whenever the camera is not on her.
STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES: Sung Hwa's strengths are always shown on camera...from the way she gives out fanservice like presents to her rap delivery whenever on stage. She knows what the fans like and she makes sure to give it to them. Her singing is rather weak for she often sings a bit off key when struggling with notes out of her range. Her weakness is most definitely the way she acts when she thinks the cameras aren't around. Her personality does a complete 180 which keeps people away from and has caused quite a few negative headlines.
BIO&PERSONALITY:
Her cries screamed star, wealth and fame. Or more like her parents. She was born to popular singer Lee Jae Kyung and successful business man Jung Jae Hwa on November 6th 1996. Jung Sung Hwa was surrounded by warmth and love and happy new parents smiling down at her as she slept soundly unaware of many things but content wrapped up in her mothers arms.
Her cries echoed loudly in the big empty house. She was now six years old and her parents were never around. Mom was busy singing and dad was busy negotiating contracts, never seeing each other for more than a few minutes every week. Jung Sung Hwa was surrounded by her stuffed animals and loved them greatly. She named one mom and one dad and kept them with her at all times of the day.
Those cries fell silent as she lied in her bed, trying to hide the noise so grandma wouldn’t hear from outside of her room. Grandma was all she had. Grandma cooked the best food. Grandma gave the best hugs. Grandma surrounded her with warmth and love and cried silently outside Sung Hwa ’s room as she pretended that she couldn’t hear her grandchild cry because she knew Sung Hwa would deny it.
Her cries loud and happy as she ran out to her grandma waiting out in the car. She had gotten into the J-SOUL Music. Little fourteen year old Jung Sung Hwa was going to show those kids, show her parents and become something. Something good. Someone good. It was all thanks to her father, who was good friends with CEO Kim. It was his way of surrounding his only daughter by warmth and love in her life to get her smiling again.
Her cries filled with surprise and embarrassment as she was told that she would be better of rapping than singing during monthly evaluations. But she laughed and thanked the instructors for guiding her, and especially thanked her grandma who sat at home bedridden.
Her cries full of anger as they stood inside her. Father. Mother. She had finally thought she had done something for herself only to be told how she really into the company years later. She felt broken. Sung Hwa no longer wanted to be an idol. But she needed to. Grandma needed her the most. Grandma was sick and her parents were not getting a second more of her attention or care.
Her cries weren’t alone that day. Now nineteen years old she cried with her grandma’s friends, cousins, aunts and uncles and whoever else showed up. Grandma couldn’t fight off her cold and it took her quietly in the night as Sung Hwa slept soundly beside her unknowing that would be the last day she was surrounded by her grandma’s warmth and love for the rest of her own life. Sung Hwa was left lonely. Empty. Cold
Jung Sung Hwa was a sad, lonely and angry child, and she hasn't improved since then. Sung Hwa, now known as Star, is the type of person that loves to stand on stage and perform. During performances she is the happiest - a bright smile on her face. As she loved performing even as a little kid and never was afraid of the spotlight, she still loves it to this day. Until now that hasn’t changed. During interview she is smiling brightly but her answers are mostly simple and she prefers to keep them short. Even though she loves performing with the rest of Lady, Star prefers to have the spotlight for herself while performing. Her favourite spot is the middle of the stage and all eyes on her. She is really strict and known for her perfectionistic traits. She hates when something is not done perfectly. That is why she never takes a break. She is also really bold and self-centered sometimes which has bought her mostly negative reactions from other people. If you are her friend though she rarely, if ever shows you her weak side and the fact that she doesn't really know everything.

MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM: Hansol, ToppDogg
NAME/STAGENAME: Mi Hyeonchul, stagename Hyeon
BIRTHDATE&AGE: 25, Feb. 19, 1991
COMPANY&POSITION:
Leader, main vocalist of Diamond
HEIGHT&WEIGHT: 183 cm, 58 kg
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: Joined at sixteen and trained for five years, was twenty-one when Diamond debuted in 2012
INTERESTING FACTS: Despite having been with the same company for just a little over nine years, Hyeon is known for his terrible sense of direction; he often still gets lost on his way to the dorm room, yet insists that he knows the routes to it. This is a point he gets teased for on variety shows. In addition to strong vocals, he is also a strong composer, and has an odd talent for improvised harmonization.
STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES: Naturally, Hyeon is most confident in his vocal abilities. He’s excellent in hitting high and low notes with or without falsetto, and his even vibrato demonstrates his clear control. He composes many songs of his own and hopes that one day he can help his members or himself with solo careers. As far as his attitude, he’s clearly well-meaning (even though he can come off as awkward or brazen) and does care about the rest of Diamond, even if he doesn’t show it as much as he wants to.
On the other hand, his dancing isn’t quite as built as the other members’. His poor sense of direction sometimes seems to extend to his dancing as well when he initially learns the choreography and takes a step to the left instead of the right. As a result, he often has to stay up far later in the evening learning the dances to uphold the strong dancing image Diamond has earned. Once he’s learned the choreography, he can dance well enough not to garner too much criticism or just in general stick out like a sore thumb, but he seems more lethargic compared to his other members due to his staying up far later than he should.
BIO&PERSONALITY:
Mi Hyeonchul is sixteen years old when he realizes that his mother is perhaps one of the bravest women alive.
No, that’s not where the story begins; it begins when he is eight, and his father leaves his family; Hyeonchul’s four and two year old sisters have long since weaned themselves off their father’s presence, and Hyeon doesn’t really care much for the man anyway. But his mother: his mother is not indifferent. She is empowered. She weeps only for a day before returning to their family business as a local souvenir shop, rolling up her sleeves and tossing a broom to Hyeonchul and telling him to get to work. She’s got all the family’s funds transferred into a separate bank account before her husband can take it all, and this move is crucial to Hyeon’s future. He just doesn’t realize it yet.
He is ten when they discover his passion for singing. He’s enrolled in a poor school, and it’s one that can’t afford a music program (or a music program with a good teacher, that is). But his mother is out late one evening, dead on her feet after the forty-five minute commute from the shop to her home, trudging up three flights of stairs to the two-bedroom apartment with reasonable rent and not-so-reasonable architecture. She’s just hardly made it to her door when she hears Hyeonchul, singing a sweet, sound lullaby to his beloved sisters. An idea strikes her, and Hyeonchul is immediately enrolled in singing classes using the family funds. This is for the sake of giving his sisters the brightest future, of course, and his mother already has her plan in mind. He just doesn’t realize it yet.
He is fourteen when he discovers the true reason his mother sent him to singing classes. It had nothing to do with his passion: she wants to send him to an idol company. Hyeonchul is enraged. His mother cries, the second time he’s ever seen her do so, when he accuses her of living vicariously through him. But she insists that it’s only so he can earn money for his sisters’ education, and he can understand that, so he agrees (although with far less zest) to continue on with his lessons. It’s not like it’ll last long anyway; his mother will realize that his two left feet and shy personality will keep him from becoming anything near useful in the idol industry. He’s wrong, of course. He just doesn’t realize it yet.
He is sixteen and at the airport. His sisters cling to him and wish him the best of luck, and he glares at his mother over their shoulders as he holds them close. Hyeonchul is at the boarding gate when he looks back; and that is when the realization hits. Her eyes are sad, but her posture tall; she is brave, he finally understands, to make so many mistakes. To risk the love of her eldest son for the sake of their common goal, to stake it all on the hope that he would forgive her for bartering his life away for the sake of his sisters, her daughters. With one swift turn he exits the boarding area and tucks her away into the crook of his neck in a rough embrace before leaving. They’ll be alright. He realizes it now.
He makes the audition, and his five years of trainee life are rough and strenuous. He can hardly dance, though he’s proven to be skilled in both composition and, thankfully, singing. When Crystal announces that he’s going to join a boy band, he grudgingly has to give credit to his mother for being so adamant he enrolls in the classes. But still . . .
. . . what the hell?
It’s a boy group that’s supposed to have “knife-sharp dance moves” and “edgy concepts” and he hardly thinks that he makes the cut for either of those. And leader? Will he even do well as a leader?
He’s determined, though. He will pull through for his members, and for his sisters. He cashes in on his poor sense of direction and his easily-distracted demeanor to build to a clueless, puppy-like image offstage, and his fierce, intense side to build to Diamond’s concept onstage. He stays up late practicing choreography and rises early practicing vocals. He works hard to spend time with each member of their group and make sure they present a good dynamic on-camera and as much as they can off-camera. And it’s paying off.
Hyeonchul is twenty-five, and Diamond is one of the most popular boy groups in KPop—- and they’re still bound for greater things.
He hopes they all realize that.

MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM: Jeon Wonwoo.
NAME/STAGENAME: Yeun Min-seok/Min.
BIRTHDATE&AGE: 21, January 2nd 1995.
COMPANY&POSITION: Crystal Media, Main Rapper in Diamond.
HEIGHT&WEIGHT: 182cm and 63kg.
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: Joined the company in 2007, was a trainee for five years.
INTERESTING FACTS:
Was a trainee for Galaxy Entertainment for two years before his contact expired.
Originally auditioned for Crystal as a vocalist but was told his voice was more suited towards rap.
Occasionally writes some of the lyrics for the songs, has worked on his own songs but doesn't want to/has no plans in releasing them.
Lived in Osaka, Japan from the age of five until he moved back to Korea to become a trainee so is fluent in Japanese, he also knows Chinese and conversational English.
Auditioned for Galaxy Entertainment at an audition in Japan.
Known as the 'cold, silent one of the group' due to his appearance even though his personality is the opposite to that.
Doesn't like doing aegyo because he can't do it except from the voice.
Shy and naturally quite awkward but is still very enthusiastic towards fanservice as he doesn't show this with his stage persona.
STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
RAP: Rap is Min-seok's speciality as the main rapper of Diamond and has become his primary love over time, over the years he's devoted more time in improving his own individual style and has even moved towards preparing his own work outside of the group.
DANCE: Diamond has a reputation due to their sharp, precise dancing abilities and choreography and Min-seok upholds this. Since the age of six Min-seok has always had a primary focus on dance and remains persistent on improving.
LYRIC WRITING: Min-seok has always enjoyed writing his own songs even though said songs never really see the light of day due to his own criticisms, however he has contributed to some of the songs over the years.
Weaknesses:
CONFIDENCE: As Min on stage, part of his persona is to be a confident person who borders cocky almost. This is a sharp contrast to Min-seok who has always lacked confidence in more ways than one, when Diamond first debuted he received a lot of negative comments about his looks and still believes them to be true today.
LANGUAGE: Min-seok was born in Korea into a Korean family but due to moving to Japan at such a young age and remembering little of Korea before that he's more fluent in Japanese than Korean which can sometimes cause a problem as he still struggles with some words and phrases and in turn relies more on his members for help.
VOCAL: Even though he originally trained to be a vocalist in Galaxy and was ready to trainee as one under Crystal and for years before had practiced vocally, over the years he has neglected focusing on this and as a result isn't as good as he once was. Due to his deep voice he lacks range so if possible he will avoid having to do anything vocal on tracks.
BIO&PERSONALITY:
Min-seok was born into a relatively wealthy family in Busan, his parents both having well paid jobs although his father was mostly absent due to the travel required for his work which meant Min-seok saw little of him. Being the youngest of two he always looked up to his elder brother as a child, the two sharing many a quality which in turn meant the pair got along excellently and really did come as a pair more often than not. The Yeun family ran into financial issues when Min-seok was only five years old which caused his mother to lose her job, with this his father struggled to be able to support the household and when a promotion was offered in Osaka, Japan, Yeun Chang-min was quick to take it resulting in the family moving from Busan to Osaka.
Min-seok was then raised in Japan and had become accustomed to living there, especially due to the young age he had moved from Korea he hardly remembered anything about his brief childhood there so had nothing to miss. Due to being the younger sibling Min-seok tended to follow and copy anything Hyungwoo, his brother, did. This included Min-seok taking a interest in dance and singing when his brother joined a after school club specialising in the two areas.
This started out as a hobby for a six year old Min-seok while his brother was more passionate in the two fields, pushing his little brother to be the same when they joined a separate dance group outside of the club and were trained in many different styles of dance. Throughout school Min-seok showed more interest towards the entertainment side of the world although this didn't settle well with his parent's due to their insistence of him pursuing a more work based profession in the future, the only reason why he was allowed to continue going to vocal and dance classes was with the understanding that Min-seok remained focused on his studies primarily and put them first.
While the youngest in the Yeun family was firmly pushed towards his education, Hyungwoo experienced more freedom to the point where his thoughts turned towards focusing on entertainment and so he had decided to go to an audition for a company in Seoul that was being held in Japan, however knowing his brother's mutual desire for this lifestyle he offered to bring his little brother with him. Min-seok's father allowed this under the terms that Min-seok himself wouldn't audition.
Truthfully, he didn't go to audition, even though he had begged his brother to let him but due to his young age his brother agreed with their father for the time being, however when Min-seok was at the auditions alongside Hyungwoo he was told by the people there they'd like to see him audition too. To his surprise he made it through the initial rounds with his brother but ultimately was the only Yeun sibling to be accepted into Galaxy Entertainment.
When he returned home with the news his mother and father were disgraced with his actions and didn't support his wishes in going back to Seoul, however they eventually relented but made it abundantly clear that they would not support him on this career path.
For two years Min-seok was a trainee at Galaxy Entertainment before his contract ran out and he decided that he didn't want to renew it and had actually started to rethink about becoming a idol after the long hours and the language difficulties he was facing. However, a scout for Crystal Media asked Min-seok to come to an audition after hearing about him as a trainee at Galaxy.
Originally auditioning to focus on vocal and dance Min-seok was told his voice was more suited towards rap and he discovered his passion for it since then, he trained as a Crystal trainee for five years before being shortlisted for Diamond in 2012 and was one of the last members to be officially announced as a member and so a 17 year old Min-seok debuted in Diamond. To this day his parent's have yet to see any of his concerts and have only visited him in Seoul a handful of times, even when they relocated back to Busan. However, this doesn't change the fact that half of his paychecks have been going back to his parents since his debut.

MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM: Park Jimin (BTS) NAME/STAGENAME: Lee Minjae / N/A BIRTHDATE&AGE: October 13, 1996 // 20 years old (international) COMPANY&POSITION: Galaxy Entertainment // Main vocalist of 360°Z HEIGHT&WEIGHT: 175cm // 59kg
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: Trainee for 5 years.
INTERESTING FACTS: Prior to becoming a trainee, Minjae was the youngest member of a now viral dance crew based in his hometown. He’s known to frequently respond to fan comments on social media. He originally auditioned for J-Soul Music, but was unfortunately rejected and later picked up by Galaxy Entertainment.
STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES: [ + ] DANCE : Despite his position as main vocalist of the group, above all else Lee Minjae is a dancer at heart. Growing up dancing, being a part of a dance crew, and even attending an arts school for dance, his experience and passion can be felt even when he’s not center stage. Though he lacks the title of main or lead dancer, his skills are on par with theirs, earning him a well-deserved spot within 360°Z’s talented dance line. [ + ] SINGING : He isn’t the main vocal for nothing, after all — however, he wasn’t always the “gifted” singer that fans know him to be today! After initially auditioning for J-Soul Music, he was praised for his dancing ability but told that he lacked the basic skills necessary to even be a sub-vocal and that there was absolutely nothing special about his voice. This resulted in countless lessons and practice once he’d become a trainee at Galaxy Entertainment. The beautiful voice he has today was a result of years of determination and hard work. [ + ] CHARISMA : Even netizens can’t deny that his stage presence is no joke. He knows how to get the audience to look his way and to keep their attention, be it a beckoning gesture or captivating gaze. [ - ] RAPPING : There’s no getting around it; Minjae simply can’t rap. Perhaps he doesn’t possess the proper “swag”, or maybe his voice just isn’t suited for it, but the other members find it a bit difficult to take his rapping seriously. It’s for the best that he sticks to singing for now, though he has expressed interest in improving and often goes to the rappers of the group for guidance. [ - ] WORKAHOLIC TENDENCIES: While determination is certainly a trait to admire, and one gravely necessary for an idol, there is definitely a point where it becomes too much — a point which Minjae had crossed long ago. Frequently falling victim to stress and fatigue, one would wonder how he manages to keep up with the demanding schedule of a new but popular group. It caused problems as a trainee, and though he’s trying to change his ways there’s still a part of him that believes the extra practice, the occasional dizziness and exhaustion, is all for the best.
BIO&PERSONALITY: The beginnings of Lee Minjae’s story consist of the smell of coffee and fresh sweets, pure unabashed laughter and lingering hugs, the squeak of tennis shoes against a hard floor. He grew up in Busan, adored by his parents and older sister. A loving and supporting household, which also just so happened to be located above the popular cafe his parents had opened before Minjae had been born. His childhood was fairly normal, perhaps better than most. There were times when the Lee family was short on money, but there was never a shortage of love and for that Minjae grew up a sweet, caring boy. His love for music manifested itself at a young age. As a baby he watched music shows in the living room with his family, eyes glistening as he babbled incoherently in admiration. His mother still jokingly tells others that their youngest child was dancing before he even started walking properly, always mimicking the moves that he saw on TV as he sang along to the currently trending songs. With parents as supportive as his, it came as no surprise that they would save up enough funds to send the boy off for dancing lessons as soon as he was old enough, and with that his love for it only grew. He showed lots of promise, and his instructors always praised him — he was just bursting at the seams with potential and with the amount of hard work he was already putting into it at such a young age, he was destined for greater things. Age thirteen, Minjae sits just outside of the room where auditions were being held for J-Soul Music. It hadn’t taken long for the boy to decide that this was what he wanted to do for a living. Make music, perform, make those around him happy. It was his dream. He wanted it so badly he could taste it. His audition starts, he gives it his all. Then…. “You’re an amazing dancer, especially for someone your age. But there is absolutely nothing special about your voice. I didn’t feel a thing while you were singing. We need to be confident that the trainees we bring in are going to be successful, but unfortunately when I look at you I see no promise.” Rejection. What little confidence Minjae had gathered up prior to the audition were crushed in the palms of the panel’s hands. Nothing special, they had said. No promise. He was hurt, so hurt, and for a brief period of time he debated giving up. But he loved it too much. He practiced harder, and a few months later, he tried again. Galaxy Entertainment was holding auditions. Like J-Soul, they commended his dancing skills, and also acknowledged that his singing was lacking. This time, however, they added that he seemed promising, and that with the right training he could become a top idol. They would be keeping in touch. Minjae was beaming the entire bus ride back to his home in Busan. He’s fourteen when he moves to Seoul, from the comfort of his childhood home to the far from glamorous dormitories for Galaxy’s trainees. His entire lifestyle changed, and adjusting was a tough process. Waking up early for practice, rushing to the new school that was so different from the one he’d previously attended, hurrying back to the trainee building to make it in time for more training, then keeping said training up until late hours of the night only to start over the next morning. It was hard, but Minjae was determined and pushed through. One year turned to two, two to four, and in his fifth year as a Galaxy trainee it happens. He’s experienced many things, but nothing has shocked him more to this day than the news that he would be debuting in Galaxy Entertainment’s new boy group. The news had been so great that he had cried by himself shortly after ( he never told anyone, though the members of 360° probably wouldn’t be that surprised if they knew ). It was time to adjust again. He moved into the group’s dorm with the other future members, regular trainee lessons were replaced by recording, photoshoots, filming for their debut music videos. Then, eventually, finally — their official debut stage. None of it feels real to him, no matter how much time has passed, and he’s always humble and grateful for the opportunity to finally pursue his dream.
Minjae gives off a very sexy, confident and charismatic vibe when he’s performing on stage with his groupmates. He takes the things that he is passionate about very seriously, often one of the first to enter the practice room and almost always the last one to leave. However, pull him off stage and you’ve got a very sweet and caring boy who’s actually much shyer than one would expect. It's this reverse charm that earned the affection of many fans. He listens well to those around him, especially if they’re older than him, and is always taking care of people in any way that he can ( resulting in the "errand boy" role typically reserved for the maknae to be passed onto him --- not that he minds ). Around friends he likes to joke around even if his jokes aren’t funny at all more often than not and goof off. He strives to make those around him happy, even if it’s sometimes at his own expense. He’s a bit sensitive, but the biggest problem is that he often keeps his troubles to himself. He genuinely believes that as long as the people he cares about are happy, he’s perfectly fine. He’s the type to keep his stress to himself, and he doesn’t like to talk about what’s bothering him. He often gets so immersed in his practice that he forgets to eat meals or to even return to the dorms. He also struggles with body image issues, often overexerting himself to maintain a fit and attractive body.

BIRTHDATE&AGE: 05 january, 1991 / twenty-six
COMPANY&POSITION: actress under crystal media
HEIGHT&WEIGHT: n/a
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: n/a
INTERESTING FACTS: n/a
STRENGTHS&WEAKNESSES:
( + ): hard working - eunji is known as being a girl that works hard to make everything perfect, if someone tells her she needs to change something and work harder in it then she'll do it until it's what they want. ( + ): calm - in the eye of the public, eunji is a very calm and nice girl that doesn't really make anything bad. she's always in her place with a smile in her face, waiting for her turn to talk. ( - ): insincere - eunji is not honest at all, even though many don't notice it eunji never says what her heart whats to say, in fact, she finds herself lying to others in every situation possible. ( - ): materialistic - every since little kim eunji finds herself being attracted to money and things of that type, she's not sure of how it began but she surely loves to be related to someone who has some money to spend
BIO&PERSONALITY:
FIRST, born in the middle of almost nothing, kim eunji was a happy child. always playing around with those who were with her, she had a bright and huge smile that made everyone feel good in a matter of seconds. kim eunji was born in 1991, in a quite cold day - despite being cold, the family felt warm, having a new baby in the family after so many tries was like a dream come true, they couldn’t be more happy to call kim eunji their daugther.
SECOND, the first day of school was like going to heaven to eunji. making new friends and learning things, how could the girl not be happy? when she got home late in the afternoon, the stories that she’d tell with her baby like voice and korean would make her parents melt and fall even more in love with their daugther. but they didn’t know half of what was happening.
THIRD, she always seemed like a cute and shy kid - someone that had difficulties in talking but would make friends without trying much, everyone seemed to like her but the truth is that kim eunji wasn’t shy, isn’t shy and will never be shy. the girl wanted to be like others and have many things, she wanted money and expensive toys - brand clothes and jewleries, it was a shame her parents didn’t get that much money. so the clever 10 something girl had the idea of pretending.
FOURTH, for many years eunji pretended to be shy, to be sad, to be happy, to make stories about her life and about her true self. some call it being two-faced, maybe even being a snake? you call it, eunji doesn’t know what she’s like now - if she’s a nice person or someone who is just pretending and takes information and things from others and uses it against them whenever she feels like it’ll bother her.
FIFTH, at a point of her teenage years she found herself being asked to participate in cfs and things of that type - knowing that money was involved eunji couldn’t really help but to take the offer, less did she know that the money was actually going to her parents since she was a minor at the time. to say the teenager was mad is the least, she was the one working, the money shouldn’t be going to those who didn’t work a tiny bit - not that she hated her parents but surely they weren’t that important to her at an certain point.
SIXTH, twenty years old and now she’s free. the money goes to her and she can finally do whatever she’d like to do, in this case, acting. now, it wasn’t that hard to her since she found herself to be an actual pro at it - but finding a good company was starting to be hard, eunji wanted a company that would support her and promote her in a proper way, she didn’t want trash, she had enough of that.
SEVENTH, crystal media came like magic and in 2011 eunji signed a contract with the company - having her first role in early 2012 - the answer was amazing, of course some people thought she was lacking but others found her acting amazing for a newbie, some even knew her from the little kid that used to appear on the tv, oh, but surely no one knows that the kim eunji that appears on the tv, the shy, nice and innocent girl is not actually real - actually on one knows how fake she can be most of the time, but it’s a secret eunji wants to keep to herself, no one needs to know her true self, not even those close to her.

FACECLAIM: choi youngjae
NAME/STAGENAME: lee sanghyeok
BIRTHDATE/AGE: november 21, 1997 (age 19)
COMPANY/POSITION: j-soul music trainee
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 177 cm / 59 kg
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: 2012
INTERESTING FACTS:
he can play the piano, and took violin lessons as a child as well, but quickly decided that wasn’t for him.
he is fluent in english.
he’s allergic to seafood.
he doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol and takes good care of his body.
he is able to fall asleep pretty much everywhere.
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
strengths: sanghyeok’s strongest point would be his voice, despite not having taken any singing lessons prior to becoming a trainee under j-soul. he works hard to make sure everything is perfect and rarely ever complains about anything.
weaknesses: he isn’t the best dancer and spends a lot of time remembering the steps of a dance routine. sanghyeok takes extra dance classes to make sure he can keep up with the rest of the trainees.
BIO/PERSONALITY:
( zero. ) it all starts in suwon. sanghyeok is the youngest of three, and the only son to be born in their happy little family. his sisters argue over who gets to feed him, and his parents give him nothing but love and attention. he laughs — a lot. and they love every minute of it. it’s the perfect life for a perfect family, but it doesn’t stay that way. it rarely ever does.
( six. ) his parents don't seem to be doing much other than argue every time they're in the same room. they go silent when sanghyeok walks in, as if what they're talking about is supposed to be a secret, but he isn't dumb. he knows the tone in their voices; it's the same as when they're mad at him or one of his sisters. he doesn't understand why they're mad at each other, but he hopes they stop fighting soon. they don't.
( seven. ) making new friends has never been an issue for sanghyeok, so when their new neighbours move in, it’s no surprise he gets along with the boy next door almost right away. they bond over their favourite television shows — and later on, as they grow older, their favourite video games and music. the pair are attached to the hip whenever they are together, despite the difference in age and personalities. he spends most of his time at his friend’s house because he doesn’t have to listen to his parents fight over every little thing. oh, how he wishes this was his family instead.
( nine. ) silence. there is nothing but silence when he comes home from school one day, and his mother tells him his father left. sanghyeok asks her when he will be back. she tells him never. there is anger in his voice and he is smart enough not to ask her any more questions. when his sister comes home, she explains to him that their parents are getting divorced. he knows that word — divorce. some of his classmates have told him about it, and he never thought it would ever happen to his parents. but it does.
( ten. ) sanghyeok starts taking piano lessons. he is beyond excited and even tries to teach his best friend the things he learns, but he doesn't seem interested. the boy does sing with him, however, and they make a promise to perform on stage together someday. some dreams will never be more than just dreams.
( twelve. ) his mother loses her job. his sisters give her part of their earnings in the hopes to help her out, and sanghyeok decides he wants to help out to, so he tells her she can take all his savings, if they need the money. there's sincerity in his eyes, and his mother smiles at him through her tears. she tells him to keep his money, however. 'it's not that bad, sweetheart,' she says. he hopes she is right.
( fourteen. ) he isn’t supposed to be here. j-soul isn’t his first choice, and he feels guilty the moment he steps through the door. it's the better choice, he tells himself, but that doesn't do anything take away the nauseous feeling in the pit of his stomach. he cries when he gets accepted, although it's a mix of emotions that wells up inside of him. his best friend doesn't say a word to him other than 'congratulations'. even the greatest friendships aren't meant to last forever.
( sixteen. ) his father gets sick, and he tries to visit him as much as possible, but his current lifestyle doesn't leave much room for personal matters. it's one of his sisters who calls him one afternoon, telling him to come to the hospital, and sanghyeok— he can't. he can't leave in the middle of filming, he tells himself, but he will as soon as they are done. it won't make any difference, will it? it does. he arrives at the hospital shortly after his father passes away. his sisters call him selfish. he agrees.
( nineteen. ) trainee life is anything but glamorous, but sanghyeok has given up too much to back out now. he has sacrificed too much to give up. he will debut. one way or another.

BIRTHDATE/AGE: seventeen (march 7, 1999)
COMPANY/POSITION: trainee (crystal media)
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 176 cm / 63 kg
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: 2013
INTERESTING FACTS:
although he doesn’t look like it, he can easily eat multiple servings of food and still be hungry afterwards.
he likes to compliment other people, but when someone compliments him, he gets a little flustered.
he is really competitive, no matter if it’s a dance competition or a friendly match in a video game.
his shy and quiet personality contrasts his ability to put down a strong performance on stage, which isn’t surprising, as that’s where he feels the most comfortable and happy.
he looks up to prime and knows all of their songs by heart.
when he was younger, he wanted to be a chef. he claims to be one of the best chefs among his fellow trainees, but there’s no real proof of that just yet.
he absolutely loves horror movies and stories, but gets incredibly scared and is unable to sleep without any lights afterwards.
he dislikes doing aegyo and hopes he won’t have to do it too much in the future.
he likes to sleep and is usually one of the last ones to get out of bed in the morning.
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
strengths
his strongest point is dancing, and it’s something he has been doing for nearly half of his life. he spends more time in the practice room than most, even though he picks up on a new choreography quickly, mostly because he wants to make sure everything is perfect.
despite his shy personality, taeyong is very friendly when he opens up to people. he will rarely ever say no to someone when they ask for his help and is extremely loyal towards his friends.
he’s a hard worker and sincere about everything. he doesn’t like to give up, no matter how difficult something is, and will spend as much time as necessary working on it until he gets it right.
his ability to choreograph a dance routine can and will most likely come in handy in the future, and he hopes he will be able to choreograph at least one dance for his group when he debuts.
weaknesses
while he has potential, he isn’t the strongest vocally. he’s gotten a lot better since he joined the company, but there is still a lot he can improve on. he beats himself up over this a lot.
taeyong tends to push himself hard, and while there is nothing wrong with putting effort into something you really want, he pushes himself a little too hard sometimes and it takes a toll on his physical and mental health.
his self-esteem is constantly fluctuating. he asks for criticism a lot, but only because he’s insecure about his performance and always finds things he thinks he needs to improve on.
he’s incredibly private and reserved, and difficult to get to know. he prefers silence to small talk most of the time. his personality can become an issue in the future, as fans might think he comes off as cold.
he’s really stubborn and can become quite blunt in his irritation.
BIO/PERSONALITY:
( i. ) they are a happy family — for a little while. park taeyong is the product of young, foolish love, and it doesn’t take long before his mother gets up and leaves. he is merely eighteen months old and unaware of the events going on around him. his father isn’t prepared to raise a child by himself, but instead of walking away, he tries his best to provide his son with everything he needs.
( ii. ) taebaek is his home for the first five years of his life. it’s a small city, spread out through the mountains and valleys, with friendly people all around. at least, that is what his father tells him. taeyong doesn’t have many memories of his birthplace, and the things he does recall are a little vague. they stop visiting the city all together after his grandmother passes away.
his father is offered a teaching job in suwon and he takes it without any hesitation. it’s a huge change for both of them, and taeyong kind of misses the mountains. they move into a small house next to a family of five and he makes friends with their only son almost immediately, which comes a surprise to his father, as taeyong is normally quite shy and quiet around people he doesn’t know. the boys bond over their love for music and video games, and soon they are inseparable, despite the two year age difference. their parents joke they are like long lost twin, and sometimes he wishes that was true. it doesn’t stop him from treating his best friend like a brother, even if they aren’t blood-related.
taeyong does well in school. he gets good grades and is eager to learn new things. the only thing that doesn’t go well for him is making new friends, and he ends up with only a handful of them. he doesn’t mind — much. it’s more than enough for someone who likes to keep to himself, though he hears the whispers when they think he isn’t listening, and he wonders if it’s truly so bad to want to be alone. they pity him, he knows. he just doesn’t understand why.
( iii. ) he finds solace in dancing. there is a dance studio close to where they live, and while he is hesitant the first time he steps through the doors, it becomes like a second home to him. taeyong spends most of his free time at the studio, where he goes straight out of school. his father comes to pick him up every day, despite his busy work schedule, and the two of them go home together. he appreciates it more than he will ever tell anyone.
as one of the best dancers at the studio, he gets chosen to represent them at a local competition as a solo act and wins, which grants him a spot at a national championship. he's both nervous and excited, and when it's his turn to perform, he almost turns around and runs away. almost. his hands are shaking when he enters the stage, but it all disappears the moment he starts dancing. taeyong returns home empty-handed and he is heartbroken. a part of him fears they will be mad and disappointed, but they tell him he did good and they're proud of him. it makes him feel a little bit better.
( iv. ) his father finds love again, and taeyong is happy for him, even though it's a little strange to have a woman living with them. it has always been him and his father, and now it isn't anymore. but he doesn't mind. she's nice and he likes her cooking more than anything, and he even feels excited when they tell him she's pregnant and he's going to be big brother. taeyong secretly hopes for a boy, but it turns out to be a girl, and that's okay. he loves her just as much.
( v. ) it takes a little bit of convincing from family and friends and everyone at the dance studio, but taeyong auditions for crystal media. he choreographs the dance himself and puts down a strong performance, but he still worries he hasn't done enough. his fear melts away the moment he hears he's accepted, and it's replaced by the most intense happiness he has felt in his entire life.
it's the start of his greatest adventure yet.

OOC INFO
NAME/ALIAS, PRONOUNS, TIMEZONE: jac, she/her, est
ACTIVITY: couple hours a day.
RESERVATION: -
MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM: song jihyo
NAME/STAGENAME: Yu Jihyun / Lili
BIRTHDATE/AGE: 34. August 15 1981.
POSITION:
director of management - galaxy
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: The fans want to know everything. cm/kg, please!
TRAINING PERIOD: This applies to idols and soloists only.
INTERESTING FACTS: Was your character a trainee under a different company before? Can they play any instruments? Do they speak more than one language? Anything works!
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
jihyun’s strengths lie in her analytical and logical mind. she has a clear head and is able to effortlessly separate personal and professional. yet despite the rational nature of yu jihyun, she is still a warm and caring person due to her motherly instincts. while strict and tolerates no nonsense, she still loves all those she manages like she does her child.
her weaknesses lies in her lack of a personal life. since losing her child, she has since poured her everything into work. her lack of outside communication for a while had led to a weakened verbal filter and a far more brusque nature. rather than ladylike and womanly, she is more on the rough side and can easily fit in as one of the boys. ironic, considering she is a mother figure in many celebrities’ and coworkers’ lives.
moreover, having reunited with her child later provides her a chance to work on her motherly instincts while still managing the line between work and play. special treatment is not given — not unless warranted and backed by performance (which, in itself, is not exclusively for her daughter).
BIO/PERSONALITY:
I. AS A GENIUS
yu jihyun is born during a storm. Her mother is screaming as thunder roars and she comes out crying with her strong little lungs. her father holds her and tears well up in his eyes. “you, my child, are destined for greatness.”
she starts talking and walking before she even turns a year old. she learns to speak korean and japanese through observation and being immersed in japanese tv. she starts reading a year later, going through all the books her parents buy her one after the other. since then, she’s been an avid reader. her father decides right then that his genius daughter has to be taught the same things as first graders are learning.
at five years old, her parents figure that jihyun’s 152 iq and her eidetic memory make it easy for her to learn all she needs by reading. so she self-reads and self-teaches, seen by a teacher as a formality every week. she reads so much that she eventually has her own book collection of many differing genres. soon enough, she gets bored with just reading and begs her father to enroll her in a taekwondo class.
when she starts acting, she tries to learn musical instruments with the help of her co-stars, who are so enamored by her that they just can’t resist when little jihyun bats her lashes and asks them to teach her. she continues taekwondo and starts learning judo as well. she’s in a normal high school before her singing career takes off. she’s nicknamed lilith the demon queen, which she finds charming and so debuted under the stage name lili. she finishes ahead of her classmates ( wow, what a surprise ) and goes back to her celebrity life.
II. AS AN ACTRESS
she’s six when she starts acting. her memory makes it easy for her to remember scripts. acting is perhaps second only to reading when it comes to her life’s true loves.
III. AS A SINGER
she was known for singing ballads. but eventually she ventures into different genres to become more well-rounded. she finds herself enthralled by rap and dance so that’s where her career eventually takes her. she still sings, of course, but she doesn’t let go of rap either.
IV. AS A MOM
her mother strikes her hard across the cheek when she tells them of her pregnancy. there she is, eighteen and pregnant, at the height of her career. her mother cries and shouts: “ your career is ending! why would you do this to me? ” that’s when jihyun realizes her mom’s love is linked to her fame.
she practically disappears off the face of the earth because of her mother, who locks her down in their home so that no one could see her growing belly. to keep herself busy, jihyun enrolls in online classes for a degree in creative design.
when she finally gives birth, her mother takes her baby away and says there’s no way jihyun can keep it. so her child is taken away from her, given to an adoption agency through a family contact, and jihyun never even got to hold her baby in her arms. when her mother says it’s time to lose weight and get her career back, she tries hard to fight back the bile climbing up her throat.
V. AS A BUSINESSWOMAN
she continues school and finishes her degrees: hr & management as well as creative design. she’s quick to graduate because of her memory, able to take qualification tests to get credit on things she already knows through her readings.
her first job out of college is on a creative team, where she helps visualize the next concepts for idols. in 2003, she’s transferred to the talent management division as a trainee coordinator, making sure that all the trainees are keeping up with practices and schedules.
2004 is when she receives an offer from prism to be their talent management divison’s program coordinator. she accepts, wanting to be closer to her siblings, who are in the company. she’s program coordinator for a couple of years before getting promoted.
currently, she’s the division’s general manager, given the title of assistant vice president. her boss is an amazing woman, young when she became division director with a title of executive vice president.
VI. AS A PERSON
she’s the eldest of six so she has a natural ability to take charge. she also naturally takes care of those around her, though in her strange and unique boyish ways. a disciplinarian, she makes sure to be an authority figure in the first few years of her younger siblings’ life, before being a more warm and friendly ally once they reach pubescent years.
all the talents see her mostly as the authoritative, disciplinarian figure in the company. probably because most of the time, they only see her when she’s on the clock. off the clock, however, (namely when around her siblings), she’s much warmer and affectionate.
she is professional and objective, not allowing emotions and personal connections to influence her decisions — especially in the workplace. she hires based off talent and overall fit, not how well she knows them. dedicated to making the best talents debut, she keeps track of every single person in the company and makes sure they’re all doing well. she takes care of everyone as best she can, so long as her bosses would allow her.

MEMBER PROFILE
FACECLAIM: Kim Jaejoong
NAME/STAGENAME: Yeong Mincheol
BIRTHDATE/AGE: January 1st,1986/31
COMPANY/POSITION: Manager for Eva Kwon
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: N/A
TRAINING PERIOD/JOINING YEAR: N/A
INTERESTING FACTS: N/A
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
Strengths: mincheol’s biggest strength is his understanding and patient nature. having to grow practically raising himself out of his parents’ public life, he had to try and understand his parents reasons and tell himself that it’s because of his position that his parents are still doing what they love without hindrance. it was because that they raise him that mincheol discovered the importance of family and how much he should cherish his siblings which later allowed him to reconnect with them later on in life. mincheol is talented in languages and music due to this high school education and has majored in media and communications and received a masters in business, practically making him a jack of trades – flexible in any field and possibly the best fit to be eva kwon’s manager.
Weaknesses: mincheol’s biggest weakness is that he doesn’t allow himself to mourn or feel sorry for himself. he doesn’t give himself the chance to heal which has created a lot of emotional scars for him even though he would never admit it. another weakness of his would be is that he carries a lot of regrets that he can’t or are unable to resolve. even though he claims that he is content with his life, there are so many things that he feels are still missing – not so much physically, but emotionally.
BIO/PERSONALITY:
he was destined to be the odd one out of his family, the only yeong child who wasn’t driven or encouraged to join the world in which his parents were accustomed to. he was born out of wedlock; his mother – a talented young actress who had fallen in love with an up and coming director. they had big plans for their future together, promising to marry as soon as they have established themselves in the cruel industry in which they made their living. but of course, yeong mincheol came into the picture abruptly. the babe certainly wasn’t in their plans.
they kept mincheol’s existence a secret from the media, his mother suddenly taking a small hiatus from her work a few months into her pregnancy. of course rumors swarmed about as to why such a beloved actress had claimed a hiatus near the next stage of her career. the rumors were soon settled when the media had received information that ji sojeong was suffering from fibromyalgia and will be taking the time off to recover before returning to work. the story was bought and ji sojeong was able to have her child in complete secrecy.
a few months after mincheol was born, the child was sent to live with his paternal grandparents. strict and disappointed by the poor choices of their son, they raised mincheol out of the public eye as much as possible – sending him to the best school and nurseries and giving him the best tutors. it was when mincheol was nine years old when his parents were finally married and was able to attend the ceremony as apart of their family. however, despite the marriage, the poor boy still couldn’t been called their son and continued to live with his grandparents for another five years before he was finally able to come home. at the age of 14, yeong mincheol was no longer an only child.
his siblings didn’t know and possibly will never know his estrangement with their parents. they were younger after all when the news caught whiff of the hidden child between yeong hansol and ji sojeong, forcing the couple to take their eldest son in to save face. somehow they were able to sell off stories that they wanted mincheol to stay out of their on-screen lives which was why they had never shown him to the public, wanting their son to live a simple and normal life. they were even careful to say that they had married as soon as they found out they were pregnant with mincheol but had kept it between the family. it was then than yeong mincheol’s life had become his parents’ lie and he was a puppet who had no choice but to play along.
just because he was back in the yeong household didn’t mean mincheol was able to see his parents often. his younger siblings, minseo and minho, were often left with nannies leaving the teenager to awkwardly stick around and help whenever he had time. it was these little moments that helped mincheol grow fond and protective of his younger siblings, promising to be there for them when their parents couldn’t. but then when his younger sister was old enough, she followed in their mother’s footsteps to become an actress, minho soon following out of his own curiosity. suddenly, the house felt emptier than it should have been – leaving mincheol behind once more.
with his family busy with the entertainment industry, it left mincheol in the hands of his intense studies. he attended hanyoung foreign language high school thanks to the support of his grandparents, making him well-versed in higher education curriculum and the modern languages made available within the school’s academia. however, it wasn’t the school’s high end academics that kept mincheol interested in school – it was music.
out of the numerous clubs the school promoted, one club in particular caught the teenager’s interest which was the school’s resident rock band. the boy wasn’t planning to join the club at first, but after meeting and befriending the other males in the club, the older boys took mincheol under their wings and taught him all about music. before mincheol knew it, by the mid of his second year, he became the rhythm guitarist for the band.
mincheol carried on with music throughout his academic career, even playing a few gigs here and there as a step in guitarist for university events. although the band didn’t get anywhere aside from the underground scene, for once, mincheol was content and happy with his life. he discovered that all he really needed was his guitar and even after graduating from seoul national university with a degree in media and communications, he continued playing as a recreational hobby whenever he felt the need to blow off steam.
almost immediately after he graduated and with his family busy with their careers, mincheol decided to attend his enlistment and was away from two years before returning. when he returned, he found out their was a new addition to their family – minwoo, his newest younger brother. not even a year and a half old, mincheol immediately took charge of him as well as using his new free time bonding with his younger siblings.
minseo and minho were teenagers now and with mincheol gone for so long, it was a bit of a rough transition to position himself back in their lives. although he tried to make the effort to stay consistent in their lives, the older brother had to relearn everything about his siblings from scratch as if he were a stranger meeting them for the first time. ironically enough, that didn’t sound too far-fetched. thankfully, both minseo and minho were ecstatic to have their big brother back in their lives.
the next few years were relatively some of the best years mincheol had had within the family. he and his siblings became closer for the first time, his parents were making more of an effort to make up for their neglect – thanks to someone he met in the army, he was able to find a job in the management department of crystal media which gave him a steady income and the ability to put his degree into use. after life became more stable, mincheol enrolled himself into graduate school at seoul national unversity, earning his master degree in business in February of 2016. little did he know that in a matter of two weeks, his and his family’s lives would take a bleak turn.
minseo and minho were involved in accident one march night, leaving his sister dead and his brother in a week long coma. it was speed collision, he was told. a drunk driver was going way above the speed limit and colliding with minseo’s car head on before she could react. the news tore the family apart. his parents refused to talk about the accident while minho had shut everyone out after he had woken up and received the news. not only was minho unable to see, touch, or talk to his best friend ever again but he had also lost his place to debut due to the accident. yeong minho had lost everything and mincheol couldn’t shed a tear.
so badly, he wanted to cry that night. he wanted to yell, scream, beg for the deity to bring his sister back. it was unfair that after spending years and years of wanting to be a part of the yeong family and finally being able to achieve it only for two important pieces to be abruptly taken away from him, it destroyed him. he not only lost his sister that night but he had also lost minho too. it was that night that mincheol made sure and promised that he wasn’t going to leave minho alone.
a few months had passed and there was a sudden meeting called at work requesting mincheol’s presence. the man was surprised when he had entered the boardroom and saw no other than eva kwon sitting with her attorney, her arms crossed and her expression firm. they were speaking with a few crystal representatives about signing her to their company when the actress and former idol had demanded that yeong mincheol was called into the meeting. everyone was surprised when eva revealed she would except no one else other than mincheol as her manager, the demand being her only condition to her new contract with crystal. although bewildered, the company agreed and from that moment on, mincheol had become eva kwon’s manager.
it has been six months since mincheol had began working for eva and somehow, their relationship has been helping the both of them cope with their lives. eva was minseo’s best friend and minseo’s death took a toll on her just as it did with everyone else. they found comfort in each other’s company and perhaps, this was the best arrangement for them to be each other’s support and they tried to work and cope with the loss of someone so important to them. but of course, not everything is as simple as they want it to be. not when feelings are drawn into the equation.
yeong mincheol is normally reserved after growing up in a strict environment. obedience, punctualality, and discipline are what makes his personality along with his most important trait, self-reliance. after spending so many years looking after himself, it’s generally difficult to get mincheol to open up if you aren’t close to him. he can be seen as stern and aloof to most people, but in reality, he can be very thoughtful and kind. family is most important to him despite his past and will do anything for his siblings if he needs it.
however, he has trouble expressing his inner thoughts and emotion due to his self-control so it isn’t a surprise if he doesn’t say what he thinks right off the bat due to his careful nature. mincheol likes to tease and be affectionate to those close to him, much like a brotherly figure. he has a good-temper and rarely becomes angry without good reason. however, he is protective over the ones he cares about so it would be best not to push his buttons especially when it comes to his family and close friends.

NAME/STAGENAME:
name: choi sarang
former stage name: “sarah” from when she was the leader of girl group p!nk lemonade
BIRTHDATE/AGE:
29 years of age
POSITION:
manager of diamond
HEIGHT/WEIGHT:
not rel, but she's 5’6” and 110 lbs?
TRAINING PERIOD:
also not rel but back when she was an idol she had been in training since she was 8 or so years old!
INTERESTING FACTS:
n/a
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
was a trainee for 10 years and understands the idol process very well, (basically knows the ins and outs of the whole system)
regarded as an prodigious rapper and before she left p!nk lemonade there were rumors of her going solo
possesses strong work ethic and doesn't give up easy
has a bachelor degree in business management (and being a bad bitch)
can drink you under the table and took mad taekwondo as a kid (watch out)
was an idol for 4 years as the leader and main rapper of her group (p!nk lemonade) and has a lot of idol experience which she often draws from when managing The Boys™ (aka diamond bc she has a son but they're also her sons)
very protective and maternal? perhaps it's because she's a mother, but she finds herself caring deeply about things and going great lengths to protect them
makes really good snacks? they're mostly for the aforementioned Boys™ but everyone is welcome! forget that overpriced vending machine! (she can make a gimbap that would bring tears to your eyes)
great at multitasking - i mean, she's juggling being a single mom of an elementary schooler and diamond’s manager, i’d say there's some balancing act.
is an incredibly strong person and doesn't let (or at least pretends like) things don't get to her? she's had a lot of misogynistic, hateful fans say horrible things about her and has developed very thick skin.
Weaknesses:
has to leave at sporadic times if her son gets sick, something or there's no one at home to take care of him. this means she also has to bring jik to work sometimes when her babysitter can't take him.
after her pregnancy was outed, she was painted very negatively for having premarital sex, an affair with a married man (even tho this mofo seduced her and played her smh) and essentially destroying p!nk lemonade which crumbled after she (the group’s leader) had to leave the group
she's a little high strung and when The Boys™ are late, you can hear her screaming from the other side of the building
doles out harsh and old fashioned punishments (if you think she's not gonna make you hold a book over your head, you're wrong)
kind of a wild card - people were very anxious and upset when they heard choi sarang, the former pl leader visual who got pregnant out of wedlock and shocked the world would be managing, but she plans to prove them wrong (so far she has ;) )
too proud to admit when she needs help, so even though she's having a really hard time being manager mom, she refuses to ask for help and insists she's fine
after the father of her child aka the man she had an affair with while she was an idol disappeared after hearing that she was pregnant, she has a massive guard up and commitment issues to boot
the time she spent with the father of her child was riddled with alcohol to dull the reality of the situation and for a while, sarang was an alcoholic but got sober (minus the occasional celebratory drink) after having jik….however with the stress of being a manager, everyday being more or less sobers a little bit harder...
BIO/PERSONALITY:
it was an innocent thing they had, a few touches to the skin, lips to bruised collarbones and the implied offer of an escape. the man in the tailored suit never loved his wife. she smelled of freshly washed linens and an apothecary store but that smell was the closest to feeling to “home” that he’d ever known in all his years married to her. she was a mannequin, she had a pretty face painted on but was incredibly hollow within, featherweight and without expression. in a world of mannequins, the other woman was real. comprised of porcelain flesh and beast-like wildness, her hair was black as night and her eyes were darker, an almost possessed looking ever-twisting void that yearned for something that she found dancing in the other man’s eyes that faithful night.
for weeks, her home was amidst the sheets where the man slept, her form tangled in his problems and weaved into the desire picketing around them like the house she had hoped they would buy one day. everything had it’s time and place and the couple’s affair, like a perfectly placed show, could not miss it’s beat of entrance. when the man’s wife went off to work, the ravenette would entertain the other man, the slow, seductive churn of her voice like a sedative to his ravaged heart. time passed and came again, days fell, rose and with it, their relationship only became more complicated.
bleach, of course could cover the stench and pristine the sheets that blanketed the secret couple’s dirty little secret, but not even it’s palette cleansing powers could begot the life expanding in her stomach, growing and becoming more pronounced with each coming day. She was ready. she was finally ready to confess her dreams to him, her aspirations, her longing—to revel in his happiness, find a way with him or pave their own road to a glimmering promise tooth and nail, but there was one problem.
he didn’t want her. he didn’t want the evidence of their extramarital affairs destroying his success in the election and with the who who was cleaner than she. hollowed out and devastated, a few screams and sobs broken leaving her collapsing lungs, the girl was ushered out onto the street, the taste of his kiss still a sweet ghost on her lips and the cutting words that he used bitter in her ears. his wife couldn't know, but it wouldn't be long until she found out and with her, followed the rest of the viewing public.
SLUTTY SARANG: P!NK LEMONADE’S SARAH SHOCKS AND SADDENS ALL WHEN SHE IS CAUGHT HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH A MARRIED MAN AND AN OUT OF WEDLOCK BABY!
slut, skank, homeworker, each syllable was like a fist hurling into the side of her face, but still she held her head up high. the ravenet was told repeatedly to get rid of the child, but she insisted her jik was but an innocent, cooing thing that scraped the sky with chubby fingers, gurgling and excited by the slightest turn and twist in the world’s orbit. he was beautiful. she couldn’t kill him. she couldn’t bear it. she couldn’t live knowing she had dealt such a card.
and as time marched on, so did sarang. she had split from pl and yet worse and worse insults flew in everyday, making life in korea close to unbearable. so it was off to california’s usc to pursue the degree in business she'd once shelved for idoling and with a baby strapped across her chest and books on her back, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, a weight she bore proudly as she had her little child. by jik’s fourth birthday, the fruit of her labors culimnated into a professional degree that meant she was no longer grossly gutted, but furthermore: gorgeous and going places.
but after working at a couple of different american record labels who ate up her sob story and admired her ideas/timeles perseverance, she was quick to find that despite the fact that managing was her true calling (rather after mothering), there was no place like home. thus when an old friend asked her back to korea for a much needed catch up, she was happy to oblige. then, by some miraculous stroke of luck and magic, as sarang was leaving the airport a wayward flyer hit her:
CRYSTAL MEDIA: NOW HIRING
and the rest is history.
