MR CRAWLING — HCS.

an: just a short little collection of drabbles about mr. crawling, because my thoughts about this cutie pie have been running rampant for the past week or so ! who knew an eyeless monster could be so loveable…

mr. crawling, who follows you around like a lost puppy at all times. it doesn’t matter where in the house you are— you could be in the kitchen making food for the both of you, tidying up around the place, hell, even using the restroom— he ensures that he’s close to you at all times. it’s not like he thinks you’re unsafe— by all means, your home is far more secure than the world he comes from. he just can’t seem to shake the need to protect you.

mr. crawling, who takes any affection he can get. believe me, he’s snuggled up against you any chance he can. even though he’s always crawling around as to not scare you with his height, he’s still rather tall on all fours. nuzzled up to your legs when you’re at a standstill, laying next to you after a long day in bed, sprawling his lanky body across your small couch to lay overtop of you— you name it, he’d happily do it to be closer to you.

mr. crawling, who is an excellent communicator despite the language barrier. he knows very well that your vocabulary is limited, as is his in your language, but that doesn’t stop him from getting whatever point it is that he has across to you. he is especially adamant whenever you’re sad, trying his hardest to put his broken english to use to console you.

“you unhappy. me worry. you dislike something?” he’d ask inquisitively, making himself as small as possible in order to study your expression. if you were too upset to reply, then no matter. mr. crawling would happily stroke your head and face with care until you feel better. his hands are cold, and he frowns as you wince at the feeling. he absolutely hates seeing you upset, even more so if there’s a way he can help you feel better. if you ever got mad at him, he thinks he’d die (not that he can, really..).

mr. crawling who loves you. whenever you get ready, he watches you intently, moving his head to follow your movements like a hawk. if you wear makeup, he’d be thoroughly surprised about how much it changes your appearance. not in a bad way— he could never think ill about you in any circumstance— but to watch you get more gorgeous would probably stump him entirely. if you’re more on the masculine side and take good pride in your hair, mr. crawling would most definitely try and help you do it, seeing as he feels the same way about his. anything you do captivates him entirely, and if he knew a greater word for “like” or “love”, he’d say it all day.
