What are people’s opinions on Daisy and her… view and/or relationship with werewolves?

Vampires seem to be inherently cruel towards werewolves in Being Human UK.

But Daisy was sort of the exception. She toyed with George and allowed Ivan to mock him and corner him, but ultimately, she slept with him and was touched by his words in the hospital when she was going to kill her daughter. She didn’t hurl slurs at him, she didn’t hurt him…

Is a hatred towards werewolves taught and encouraged? Or is it possible for vampires to be more indifferent towards the idea of hating werewolves, like Daisy seemingly was?
