Marcus using his (I assume) molecular kinesis to punch people without touching them in the finale makes me so happy, because I can just imagine Chase going to bother Bree— very early in his molecular kinesis discovery, back when he was still an annoying little brother on purpose— and going "I'm not touching you," while poking her with his molecular kinesis.

Something I’ve always liked about Lab Rats, even back when it first aired, is how untraditional the family structure is. Not only is the family a mixed race, but is also blended family.

Once you add the idea of Donald being the biological uncle of Adam, Bree, and Chase it doesn’t take away from Donald being the father figure to the trio and they don’t start calling Douglas ‘Dad’. Donald raised them. Douglas even moves in and he’s more like uncle to Leo and the trio despite being the biological father. Going even further, Donald is father figure to Leo yet Leo never calls him dad. In fact, the trio doesn’t call him dad either. Still it’s very clear that Donald is the father figure.

What is even more interesting is how quickly Leo and the trio accept each other as siblings. It’s never step-siblings or adopted siblings, it’s always brothers and sister. This happens in like episode 2. The fact that Leo and trio are siblings are never questioned by anyone. It’s just accepted, even the villains.

Tasha from what we see from the show is quick to accept Adam, Bree, and Chase as members of the family. She even seems to pretty okay with Douglas. Granted, she never really interacts with Douglas, but we are never given any reason to think she has any issue with Douglas.

I think Daniel even adds another layer to this messy family. He’s sibling no one knew about, but calls Douglas ‘dad’. It always felt to me as someone trying really hard to fit in when calls Douglas ‘dad’. It’s implied that Daniel has an adopted family that he is very close with. Still, everyone just accepts Daniel as family right away. Daniel is interesting, unexplored, and underdeveloped part of the show.

The only person who has an Dooley-Davenport Family as unit is Rose Dooley aka Leo’s grandma/Tasha’s mom. She doesn’t like Donald all that much and seemed a little freaked out by Adam, Bree, and Chase. She never interacted with Douglas as far as I remember(correct me if I’m wrong). The narrative of the show frames this as wrong point of view. Rose is always has to learn the lesson that Donald and the trio are family and good for Tasha and Leo.

The Dooley-Davenport family is messy and confusing from an outsider’s point of view. There are tons of people in real life with confusing family structures like this. Some people are raised by grandparents or uncles or family friends. Sometimes, people can be close to cousins like they are siblings. Families are messy, but that’s okay as long as there is love. That’s really why I’ve always loved the Dooley-Davenport family it’s messy and non-traditional like so many people’s in real life.

Thank you, I try. For Alvin and Simon as a sibling duo dynamic:

- Simon doesn't let Alvin drive, ever, because anger issues

- Alvin once tried Simon's glasses and now, every chance he gets, he makes fun of how blind Simon is

- Go to the gym together

- Alvin cannot talk about feelings, Simon is very emotioanlly mature, so often times Simon helps Alvin talking things through

- Absolute menaces in monopoly, to the point where Dave doesn't let them play it anymore

- Alvin makes fun of every crush Simon has but is actually overprotective of his brothers so "if you break his heart, I'll break you!"

- Simon puts every and any of Alvin (and Theo's) girlfriends through a torough interrogation using FBI tactics that he learned

- Sometimes write songs together / help each other writing songs

- After joking and all, Alvin tries to be the best wingman ever for Simon

- Simon is the actual best wingman ever

- As kids Alvin was convinced he and Simon where twins and Theo was their baby brother even though they are triplets

- Only they can call each other names

- Overprotective of Theodore

- Simon has to stop Alvin from eating some things because Alvin genuinely forgets he has allergies

- One time, when they were younger, they tried to switch places ans Dave was so busy with work he only noticed at lunch time

Starting with the classical Theonor.

- Try to avoid paparazzi at all costs, sometimes even dress up as old people to misguide the paps

- Theodore likes to hear Eleanor ramble on about seamstress stuff

Simonette my beloved

- Hate the paparazzi and always try to avoid them at all costs

- Both are very private people but will post together for each other's birthdays

- Hate PDA, the most they'll do in public is hold hands and sometimes hug

- Temple & hand kisses mean more to them than kisses on the lips

- Turn into house nurses when the other is sick (even if it's a slight cough)

- Whenever Jeanette makes tea she makes two cups, one for her and one for Simon

- Simon prefers tea but will drink coffee to stay up and finish projects, Jeanete knowing this will sometimes give him decaf so he doesn't stay up fot too long

- Simon buys her crystals since she's into astrology

- Jeanette will buy books she knows Simon would like

- Every so often they'll both read the same book to talk about it, like a private book club

- Valentines Day means pretty much a regular day with some small meaningful gifts and homemade candlelit dinner (because restaurants are so expensive on that day, they often make dinner together)

- Share clothes (mostly jackets) and always return them

- Both are very careful defensive drivers, Simon won't go a single mhp over the speed limit, Jeanette will stop to let animals and worms cross the road

- Eleanor likes physical touch but will avoid it in public since she knows Simon doesn't like PDA

- Simon will search everything about Ellie's favorite sports to talk to her about it and understand the games She makes him watch with her

- Once went as beauty and the beast for Halloween

- Eleanor likes mending clothes, and when she mends Simon's she usually leaves a heart on that spot

- She will either bake things just for him or make a slighty bigger batch so there's some left for him to take

- Valentines Day is spent alone with one another and Eleanor always bakes a cake for it

- Simon sends carefully crafted, well written, grammatically correct texts and Eleanor always text in lowercase (even names) with the most random abreviations and most god awful mistakes because she refuses to enable the autocorret much to Simon's annoyance

- Both of them find the height difference hilarious

- Eleanor will sometimes make the "how's the weather up there?" joke or say something like "sorry, can't hear you from down here"

- Simon has to forcibly stop Eleanor from flipping people off

- He's been teaching Eleanor to speak other languages

- Simon has forbidden Eleanor from driving because of her terrible road rage (it legitimately scares him)

- Eleanor: Do you even understand, do you even know what 'no pickles' means?!

Simon: It's an honest mistake and-

Eleanor, ignoring: Because he clearly asked for no pickles, and you gave him extra!!!

Simon, hiding under his hoodie's hood: *exaspherated sigh*

Since I'm rewatching ALVINNN!!! I decided to write (& draw) Alvin ships headcannons because why not?

Starting off with the classic, Alvittany.

- They would be the couple most present in the media, joined social accounts and actual merch of them as a couple.

- They would mostly ignore paparazzi and fans, sometimes stopping for autographs and sometimes posing for the paps

- Always touching/holding each other

- Take care of each other when the other is drunk

- Never admit that they are worried sick for one another but everybody else knows it

- Alvin has terrible road rage and a very dangerous driving style, but Brittany is a passanger princess so he's extra careful when she's in the car with him

- Brittany can't drive for the life of her and doesn't want to learn because "Celebrities don't drive, they are chauffered around"

- The only two people capable of understanding Alvin's handwritting are Alvin and Brittany

- Know each other's coffee order by heart

- Both are incredibly jealous people and sometimes they use it to their advantage (ex: Brittany telling Alvin how cool Chad™ is for buying his girlfriend flowers to trick Alvin into buying her flowers)

- Sometimes he buys her chocolates for no reason

- Sometimes she buys him red trinkets for no reason

- Always go all out for Valentines Day

- Brittany sometimes forces Alvin into matching outfits

- Brittany loves to steal Alvin's hoodies

- Alvin: Hey! You deaf, or something? She asked for NO pickles!

Brittany, smiling: I asked for no pickles.

But also:

Brittany: He asked for NO pickles. You know what this is? *waves pickles in front of employee*

Now to the also popular Alvinette.

- Alvin almost never posts Jeanette in his socials because she is a very private person, but he does have some photos/videos with her

- Jeanette's social media accounts are just for promotional material and reposts of some video with her sisters / friends but Alvin follows and comments on every single one of her posts

- Jeanette does however have a YouTube channel where she sometimes posts about astrology and content with her sisters and Alvin

- She doesn't like physical touch as much as her sisters and Alvin respects her boundaries, only holding her hands and hugging her is she initiates it

- Would try to ignore paparazzi and even try to loose them, Alvin would attack the paps to get rid of them because they're disturbing Jeanette

- Jeanette doesn't drink and always checks on Alvin to make sure he doesn't get drunk

- Jeanette's love language are words of afirmation, Alvin has trouble talking about feelings but opens up to her

- Jeanette is affraid to let Road Rage Speedster Alvin drive so she's the one who usually drives them around

- She likes to sleep in his hoodies and shirts but always washes and returns them after using them

- Jeanette's handwritting is beautiful and Alvin's is unreadable

- Jeanette knows how to make Alvin's coffee and Alvin knows just how Jeanette likes her tea

- Alvin sometimes buys her crystals, bracelets and chunky jewelry for no reason

- Jeanette sometimes makes him little trinkets with his initials just because she thinks he's like it (he does)

- Alvin is very jealous and Jeanette isn't, she sometimes does/says things that make Alvin jealous accidentally

- Jeanette is the best gift giver

- Valentines Day for them is essentially "Who can out gift who" day (Jeanette always wins)

- Alvin: She asked for no pickles!

Jeanette: Alvin, it's fine. Let it go, I'll just take them out!

Alvin: You asked for no pickles, you are getting no pickles!

- Alvin calls Jeanette "beautiful", "sweetheart" & "Jeanie"

- Jeanette calls Alvin "honey", "dear" & "darling"

Last but not least, Alvinor.

- Alvin always insists on making videos together and Eleanor sometimes agrees

- Flip the paps off and sometimes (when the paps go too far) they throw stuff at the cameras

- Both are very competitive and often make bets out of mundane tasks, sometimes the bets are taken too far

- Alvin is very touchy and Eleanor doesn't mind it

- Eleanor is a funtional drunk (people can never tell she's drunk) and Alvin is a mess so she always takes care of him

- Both are overprotective of each other

- Eleanor cannot understand Alvin's handwritting for the life of her

- Alvin cannot understand Ellie's handwritting for the life of him

- Alvin buys her food and pastries sometimes

- Eleanor buys him random things that remind her of him or of them

- Once went as Ketchup and Mustard for Halloween

- Valentines Day is divided so half the day they do want Alvin wants and the other half what Eleanor wants

- Eleanor's road rage is far worse than Alvin's

- Eleanor (straight black, no sugars) makes fun of Alvin's coffee order (sugar, cream and cinnamon)

- Eleanor: I asked for no pickles!

Alvin, whispering proud: Go off babe.

But also:

Alvin: I asked for no pickles!

Eleanor: No pickles, know what that is?!

- Alvin calls Eleanor "babe", "toots", "shorty" & "honey" (toots started as a joke)(Eleanor isn't too fond of shorty)

- Eleanor calls Alvin "babe", "Alvie", "hotstuff", "hotshot" & "red" (Alvin does not like Alvie)
