I've been going to open figure drawing on Thursday nights at a nearby art studio. It's been such a wonderful practice, I didn't realize how much I'd missed it. I'll definitely be making it a regular part of my schedule, and posting the drawings on patreon.

Hello I just came across your work and really love it! I'm especially struck by the piece called A Portal (persimmon and bird) - the tags say it is a wip and I was wondering if there is a finished version? I very much enjoy it as is but am curious! Also I was looking to see if you have a shop but couldn't find a link? Sorry if I missed it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful art!

I do have a shop but it's down at the moment unfortunately - I've recently moved cities and haven't quite gotten my studio set up to where I can sell prints yet, I'm sorry! I was hoping to have that by the holidays but it's not looking likely.

Putting this as its own post because it deserves to be its own post.

If you want to be good at any kind of art you have to take the part of your brain that tells you “everything must be a wholly original idea formed in a perfect clean room environment” and you have to rip that synapse out of your skull, put it through a shredder, stomp on it, light it on fire, then pour it into acid, because it��s a liar and will never ever help you.
