This is actually upsetting, as Bloodlines was pretty much the perfect way to end the series. 🫤 This just feels like a cash grab, trying to capitalize on how well Bloodlines did in the box office, without realizing that the main reasons for its success was because of the long wait franchise fans had gone thru since FD5, and because it was Tony Todd's final scene. Those of us who have loved the films since the beginning aren't going to feel quite the same about any further installments that we know will be lacking those much anticipated William Bludworth scenes.

The soft look he always wore fell, but not to one of anger or of shock. Instead, his expression was nothing but grave. "You lash out because you don't feel like you deserve love. You want me to give that right back to you, but I'm not going to do that. You can be kind, you can be loved, and you can feel good, but you're going to have to be willing to do that. Now, do you want to keep yelling at me, or do we want to try a different approach?"

I started writing whole long post about it, but I'm lazy, so here's the tl;dr:

Your character shouldn't be talking about classified information on their cell phone, even if they think they're alone.

Your character is not going to hack into secure government systems from their laptop.

This shit is why as soon as that fucking 'ai generated content' tag gets added the fic should be blocked from posting and the user banned. I love ao3 for its complete inclusivity of fic, but ai writing is not real writing. A person didn't spend their hard earned spare time crafting a story from love (or pure frustration/rage), a robot vomitted up a puddle of words that its programming calculated to assume made sense. There's no feeling, no humanity to it. It's like looking at those hideous ass utilitarian buildings that look like something out of 1984.
