Hi, saw that your page went down on Patreon but I'm not getting emails from there at the moment (not sure why). Is everything ok? Did Patreon ban you?

Hey there! Yeah, I was talking about what happened on the group.io on Friday morning. They removed the page for what they say are violations of community guidelines. Specifically, they say, due to sexualization of children or teenagers. I disagree with this assessment, of course, but Patreon holds all the power and they don't seem inclined to discuss things. I think it's terrible to just pull the rug out with no warning or giving a creator a chance to present their side, but all I CAN do is feel awful about it. I'm presently setting up a new subscriber arrangement on DeviantArt which I expect to open up by the end of this month (I need the time to post everything and also create some new content). I'll have a $5 tier, as before, but the top tier that was previously $10/mo. is bumping up to $15/mo. I think after more than three years and in light of a new fee requirement I'll have to meet with DA, going up five bucks is still reasonable. Watch my DA page to see when the service opens up. I'm going to have to change all previous links to Patreon, as well as sending out notifications to all the Patrons who also had no warning this was gonna happen. Ugh.
